TBH, Liverpool is not the Liverpool of last season so it's not something that should be surprising about their performance yesterday. You can imagine a club which had less of their good players in action could still hold Jurgen Klopp's men to a goalless draw can tell one a lot. Man UTD are the only club who haven't lost at the Anfield this season and while yesterday was a day to change the record, Liverpool went ahead to flop it.
 I also must commend Erik's tactic in the game yesterday as they defended more than they attacked. Infact the best way to describe their pattern was like that of a weak team which when overlooked can turn things around on the head and punish you for it as Liverpool were almost punished for their overconfidence.
This draw means they aren't at the first spot and for me I feel that was what Man UTD was hoping to achieve.

Actually Liverpool were much worse than this in the first half of the previous season. If you remember they started to perform much better in the second half of that season but even that wasn't enough for them to finish the league in top 4. Right now their first half performance in the season is much better. At least the number of points they have collected and their position are.

But it is true that their performance at finishing their goal opportunities was really poor against Manchester United as I also said in my previous post. They are still unbeaten for many weeks though but they had better improve their scoring performance again.

The confrontation between Liverpool and Manchester United is always difficult and this match was no exception, especially after the defeat in the Champions League, ten Hag said that now they will try to do everything possible to finish the season in the top 4. This team looks so weird. Chelsea is always performing so badly against the small team but it was good enough against the big team. I think that chelsea shall not put top 5 as its main target. It's too good to be true with the current performance of chelsea.

You are right there is nothing we can expect from Chelsea this season everything seemed impossible to them moreover, having to fight for the top 5 positions is clearly more difficult, Pochettino will focus more on finding ways to stabilize the team in every match like they did at the end of last November we still remember when Chelsea recorded 4 positive results in a row, when Chelsea has done it the next step is how to find it in every match. On Saturday, they defeated Brighton by two goals to nil but could've have had a better scoreline if they converted most of their clear chances in the game. The win keeps them at the top of the league table after the final games of match week 17 has been played as former league leaders Liverpool failed to beat Manchester United yesterday at Anfield.

They have seen themselves conceding too many goals in the last six to seven games in the Premier League Competition they have played. I didn't see the game against Crystal Palace but one would know they've been playing around with the defense.

What? liverpool was able destroying manchester united with seven goals. It's unlike the performance of liverpool this time. There are many things that are not going so well. It likes when liverpool was trying so hard to score against manchester united it was failed.

Jurgen Klopp was shocked to see the heavy defendlines from Manchester United. I blame Liverpool for drawing points with Manchester United, the Reds got solid spot to win but couldn't convert their chances to goals. Mere watching Luis Diaz overrated performance and couldn't net a goal, instead he was dribbling and failed to pass the ball to his teammates. A goal-less draw we watched. Manchester United was probably not able to withstand the pressure from Liverpool at Anfield. They just got lucky, and this might not happen next time.

You can say the results was unfair  because Liverpool literally didn't score any goal and it was denied them neither was there anytime a foul or penalty was denied them and moreover they were playing from their home so definitely everything was literally fair they only failed to score and win the game even at their home Manchester was just better yesterday.

The defense line of Manchester united yesterday was really different and didn't at any point gave Liverpool a chance to be able to penetrate their defense line and get a goal, personally I was impressed by the performance Manchester united did performed yesterday but then I'm not convinced yet until they will be able to add consistency to it then I could be sure they can maintain such form over a long period and hope to probably make something out of the premier league this season.

How do you guys expected Manchester United to play well in Anfield when they couldn't protect their own house in Old Trafford against Bournemouth, I even expected Liverpool to deal with them seriously and get them on their kneels for coming to Anfield but it seems Liverpool wasn't that prepaid as I expected because I was more anticipating to see more than 2 goals in that match an 3 total goals but it is what it is, Klopp couldn't do what he did to Manchester City to Manchester United and now, they are back behind Arsenal which I'm very certain they wouldn't allow anybody to chance them again unless football do his thing.

If not for the deducted points from Everton, I think with their current place in the table the substituted points, and this should place them behind West Ham nevertheless, they haven't given up because they are better than being lonely in the relegation zone but they should have done better in the match of the past week, they allowed cheap Burnley to beat them after flogging Chelsea in the earlier week. It is better for them to be at least not less than 15 place on the table.

Well, there are 2 sides to this statment and both are true.

1. The match was unfair to Liverpool as they were the better team out of the two and dominated most proceedings. Meanwhile the truth remains that it was a poor performance from the Liverpool side; who could not defeat a Manchester United side that played nothing in the entire 90 minutes.

2. Also, Liverpool did not create notable chances to win the tie; the poor Manchester united side had the best chances to seal the game and steal the points; this is not a league winner performance from liverpool

Man City opportunity to defend the title this season is still quite open, because we know the difference in the standings is only 5 points behind Arsenal. Liverpool failed to return to the top after being held to a draw by Man United, and allowed the Gunners to take over their position temporarily. Regarding the situation faced by Pep Guardiola squad, I think City will recover quickly.

It cannot be denied that the absence of mainstay players in the main squad makes it difficult for Pep to carry out his strategy, some of the back up players are not yet capable enough to fill the positions left temporarily. Moreover, the departure of the old faces who won the treble winners last season is now starting to be felt, Pep must maintain the team spirit to be able to maintain its dominance this season.

In just three rounds, City's quotes fell from 1.1 to 2.25!  For a round-robin tournament, I think this is a record for how quickly bookmakers' opinions change.
I said back in the first quarter/third of the season that City had an anomalous calendar - at first all the easy games, then all the difficult ones, and the fact that at the beginning of the season they lost points even with outsiders is a sign that they could fail against strong competitors. And now this scenario has fully come true. Now (even though City are still favorites) these quotes seem adequate to me and I would call this a return to normality from being distorted.

An interesting nuance - after the previous round, Liverpool was in the lead, and Arsenal was behind, but the bookmakers quoted Arsenal as favorites over Liverpool. And literally within a round, the position of the teams became the way the bookmakers see it. Liverpool couldn't beat dead United (it's a pity that they couldn't) and probably destroyed a lot of bets from bettors who expected United's fall to continue. In fact, United's decline continued (33% is not what a team close to the top should score), but they took two important points from Liverpool.
