I can't say Man U played better than Newcastle, but I guess the home field factor played a major role... They were lucky in this match and to be honest their game was much better than the previous ones... Now Newcastle and Devils have the same number of points in the standings and there is a small chance to get into the Conference League if Chelsea lose to Bournemouth, which I doubt...

It was an interesting match to watch especially for Chelsea fans and the result was just how we wanted it so we can go ahead of Newcastle and sit on the 6th place in pursuit of European football next season.

Chelsea need a draw or win in their final game against Bournemouth to qualify for the Europa League/Conference League and i don’t think they would want to throw away this opportunity and lose to Bournemouth not with this their current form.

These are without a doubt the best 3.5 weeks Chelsea had. It began with a draw against Aston Villa away from home and then they were able to reap four wins in a row with 12 goals scored. This is the first time for them in the season. To not lose against Aston Villa, then win against Tottenham and West Ham and then win away from home against Brighton, I think this sounds like the old Chelsea. But it is too late. Now I wonder what they would have done if Chelsea didn't have this run. Pochettino was probably grinding on the edge. I doubt that Chelsea would have been ok finishing 10th and then still stick to Pochettino.

It's a bitter sweet ending for Chelsea this season, they appear to be the current winner after such a disaster in the earlier part of the season. I feel so happy for the club, especially their young squad who has began to show glimpses of hope. I remember when it was as if this Chelsea side were heading towards the relegation zone, it seems that the patience finally paid off. I just hope they can be able to win their final game of the season to secure the 6th position and have a chance to qualify for Europe if Manchester United can defeat Manchester City in the cup final at Wembley. As I understand it, Chelsea will remain ahead of United regardless of the results of the last round - thanks to a better goal difference.
