Good start for the new coach, good three points to make a record of being the second Liverpool manager to win his opening game. Arsenal's game will start soon and it has to be a win for them if they are to start the season good too like Manchester United have and Liverpool. Arsenal was a team in last season that scored a lot of goals, maybe they can continue like that this season. This season in the premier league just feels very more serious, like something that will be tougher than last season where the difference in points between the top teams was not so much until the very last few Game weeks.

This is what happens t them in every single match. They always could Ive scored more goals but then end up missing them. I dont really know but they are really dead on luck. Its always hard time chasing after them, match by match, league to league. If we recall the community shield against Manchester City, it was this same hard luck that was on them. With so may tries and so many attempts in their opponent post they couldn't score more than one goals, it was even a surprise that they score one goal in the game. At the same time it was difficult for them to protect the goal from Manchester City equalizing.

Manchester United performed very faithfully here, as most of the punters were betting on Manchester United and I was one of them. Because I knew that between these two squads, Manchester United's squad is stronger and full of experienced players, although Fulham's squad was made up of eleven and experienced players, but they could not play confidently in this match. The defenders tried hard to defend but Manchester United's attacks were different. So in this new season the players of Manchester United team have performed very well and the fans of Manchester United team are calm.

I dont see any improvement yesterday. Dont you know if there were more time in the game after Manchester United scored that Fulham would equalize later on. Thats the sad truth and we all know that.

From the start of the game, both teams had the will to win, but only the better and more skilled players could win most of the matches. But Fulham team tried hard but their attacks were very weak, but Manchester United team's defense and goalkeeper were most alert.  
That's why the opposing team was not able to score, the goalkeeper of Manchester United team digested their attacks very easily. But the attack department of Manchester United team is the most aggressive which is why they have success with only few attacks.

I don't think what you are actually saying is right because Fulham have more skillful players than that of the Manchester United team. what you should be saying is the team with more confidence in the game, if you watch the match closely you will see that the team of Manchester United is more eager and confident in winning the match than the Fulham team. The goalkeeper of the Manchester United team didn't do much in the match because the Fulham team only had two short on the post so he only had to save two ball near his post. Their defense was quite impressive than that of the Fulham team, but their attack wasn't good enough because the match could have ended 3 goals to nut but Bruno missed two one on one with the keeper because there is no Hoijluind but we shouldn't blame him because his not a striker but rather a midfielder.

Even Yesterday match, we all know that Fulham played more than Manchester United. And they won the match because of the new intake and this season will be a tough for many clubs. But has Fulham has seen their first leg with Manchester United then their next match will be a tough game.

What killed Fulham was the attack because Rodrigo Muniz was not strong enough to attack Bruno Fernandes. I was even surprised to see Manchester United won the game. Probably their next match, we will know better.

I too, don't doubt Liverpool to win because Arne Slot also still looks fine and has no difficulty making Liverpool continue to be good. Because I think the factor of not buying new players is also proof that Arne Slot is able to maximize the potential of the players in the Liverpool squad. Therefore, at least the victory factor obtained by Liverpool in the pre-season match also gives at least a little consideration to Liverpool being able to win in their first match this season against Ipswich.

But even so, at least Ipswich also managed to put up a good fight in this match because if not, Liverpool might have won from half time. On a serious note I have to give it to Ipswich  that they were able to hold Liverpool 59 minutes on the clock in this game without a goal, no shots on target, meanwhile in the building up to this match many of us would have expected Liverpool to get the lead before the end of the first half. However, Liverpool came back to the second half more clinical and stronger with massive pressure. Ultimately, M. Salah was of great influence in today's victory for Liverpool, assisting and scoring a goal in their first game of the season is just beautiful.

The next game in line is the Arsenal vs Wolves.
Arsenal, would they start their season in a grand style today against Wolves?  Or would Wolves be a tough nut to crack?

Liverpool played very differently in the second half. Their performance improved and they dominated the game much more than in the first half. After halftime, Liverpool seemed to have found their rhythm again
and from the many opportunities they have, Liverpool was recorded as having 5 Shots on target. It's very different from their performance in the first half where they didn't even have a single shot on target. This victory made Liverpool get first place for the time being and this is also a good debut for their coach in the Premier League.

LoL that statement really got me cracking, Ipswich town came out to play out their best, they where really impressive during their first half approach, but not as willing to lose points as you've put in their debut match as a newly promoted team. Don't forget that Liverpool is one of those clubs that have experience players with a lot of experience in the premier league, on like Ipswich town that are still trying to put themselves together on a new environment they've recently been promoted to.

The Liverpool new coach is currently sitting ontop of the premium league with this victory, it's a good start for the new coach, let's just watch how he is going to sustain the tempo.

Being an Arsenal fan, I am very interested in this game and currently following it up online, can't watch the match as I am not at home currently, it's already around 12 minutes into the game and non of the clubs have scored a goal yet, though this is highly expected since not just the game, but also the tournament is just starting for most of the clubs, which simply means that the current ongoing match is the very first for this season.

Right now, it's hard to tell who would win as I personally don't want to be too forward in saying Arsenal would win the match, but then, both team seems to be moving on nicely with the game Arsenal is gradually building their stats and currently sits at 58 percent possession and 83 passes, while wolves as expected have lesser numbers with 42 percent possession and 64 passes, shots on Target 1 for Arsenal and 0 for wolves.

I look forward to a great game for Arsenal, but first, let's see how the first half will end.

Even though Liverpool won today, we still can't measure their ability because Ipswich Town as newcomers is not a worthy opponent for them but it must be admitted that it seems there is no change at Liverpool they still play as usual. We are still waiting for another match between Arsenal vs Wolves previously I bet on Arsenal to win in the first half but 20 minutes of the match have passed and there are still no goals it's just not too worrying because Arsenal continue to attack the opponent's defense. this is the premier league, teams here don't take games for granted and they will have to learn a whole lot of lessons the hard way if the don't sit up and fight to push their way up the table. Their next premier league match is against a more competitive team which is man city and if they loose it again it's going to be demoralizing and yye coming games don't look easy at all for them. It's the beauty of the premiership, if you want to become a part of the teams in the premier league, you've got to prove a point and show that you deserve it or you will be sent home in less than no time.

Wow... What a beautiful header from Havertz after he received a super cross to his head by Saka. Arsenal have broken the deadlock on the 25th minutes to put Arsenal on the lead.

Arsenal is on possession and in dominance of y e match which led to their goal. Wolves is also trying to see how they can equalize the goal and put themselves back in the game. A good start Arsenal in their first match and I believe that 3 points is sure for them. Arsenal playing at home is a good advantage to them.

Chelsea were one of the most disappointing teams last season. But this year they have been one of the most active teams in the summer transfer window. This season they will try to make up for last year. Chelsea parted ways with many potential players and replaced them with more affordable players like Neto, Dewsbury-Hall, Jorgensen, Kellyman. I am also curious to see what kind of potential Chelsea will show as they start the new season with Enzo Maresca, the manager who took Leicester City to the Premier League.

Manchester City, on the other hand, started the season by winning the Community Sheild cup against arch rivals Manchester United. Manchester City did not take much action in the transfer market and kept the basic structure of the squad intact. With Pep Guardiola keeping the plan of the champion team, we will watch a good City this season. I expect a cautious start from both teams in this match and Chelsea could start the season with a surprise.

Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca has made a very unpleasant statement about Ben Chilwell in to the press; saying it’s better he goes and leaves and finds minutes". I think it’s daft for a manager to say a player should leave because they can't find a place on the team.

I think a manager should not say this to a player still under contract at the club. As a new manager you don’t come out to say this about a player. How do you want the rest of the squad to trust you?

My only issue is that I disagree with him talking about an internal issue to the media in that manner.

Maybe Enzo Maresca didn't like Ben Chilwell so required him to leave he is no longer in the squad plan this season, so what can be made with this decision Chelsea has many players so getting rid of one player is okay even though I know Ben Chilwell is not impressive.

Means now his job from Agent Chilwell who must find a club if he stays then will not play at Chelsea, sometimes we have to understand what is the coach's decision then I think it is his right as a coach.

Lol. What were the odds? And why did you make that bet overall rather than a simple Liverpool win or a Liverpool win with a handicap? I think that was much safer.
I may be wrong, but exotic (probably this is subjective, but for me these bets are exotic) bets are best made in games where the outcome is not obvious, like Chelsea - City and the like.

They made a good start by getting three points. If we talk about transfers, the club made successful transfers and these players need to be used well.

Manchester United played really high pressure game, the kind of football that will really make Manchester United supporters have lots of hopes for the new season.

The season just started and you shouldn't give them that high scorecard yet, because I have a few criticism about  how they played last night juxtaposing the level of their opponent with theirs. I thought for a moment maybe they were playing against Chelsea or Tottenham watching how they were in difficulty finding a netting against Fulham. Manchester united were lucky last night to have won that game. If nothing is urgently done about their striking problems they will be having a hard time winning consequent games mostly against the big EPL teams.

Yes, Ipswich had a successful first half when they held the visitors Liverpool. Ipswich allowed Liverpool to have more possession but did not create many dangerous situations. When Liverpool attacked from home, Ipswich also closed in very quickly and fought fiercely. This style of play from Ipswich forced Liverpool to use long passes at times but the results were not very good. However, Mohamed Salah's bravery and brilliance in the second half helped Liverpool leave with all 3 points.

Liverpool's first official match under new coach Slot was difficult, but they still achieved their goal of winning the opening match. Striker Mohamed Salah is still an important factor for Liverpool this season. Mohamed Salah has truly made his name in Premier League history.

I didn't watch the first half because I slept off but I was lucky to watch the second half and from what I saw it was a good performance from Liverpool and good goals from Sallah and Jota. It is a good start for Liverpool and their new coach. I look forward to see how the rest of their matches outcome will be like but it does not show as if Liverpool players will drop their form because of the arrival of Arne Slot. All the matches that is ongion scoreline are the same with a 1-0 difference in the first half. Arsenal, Newcastle, Everton and Nottingham forest are leading their opponents.

Liverpool started the season with a win. They took 3 points under Arne Slot. I saw a post last time. If I remember correctly Liverpool have never won their first game with their new manager this century. In this respect it's important to win the first game with Slot. After the 60th minute they scored 2 goals in 5 minutes to get an away win. Jota and Salah continue to score from where they left off. Ipswich Town wasn't a very strong opponent but still, starting the season in such a good way will definitely give Liverpool plus points both in terms of morale motivation and league ranking.

Brighton having a bit more quality squad than Everton are also on the lead, although I resisted the match to end in a draw because Everton play at Godison Park is strong and can take a point at the end.

Nottingham Forest take advantage of the mistake from the Bournemouth defenders to take the lead same as Newcastle that is playing with one man down due to red card.
