Wow... What a beautiful header from Havertz after he received a super cross to his head by Saka. Arsenal have broken the deadlock on the 25th minutes to put Arsenal on the lead.

Arsenal is on possession and in dominance of y e match which led to their goal. Wolves is also trying to see how they can equalize the goal and put themselves back in the game. A good start Arsenal in their first match and I believe that 3 points is sure for them. Arsenal playing at home is a good advantage to them.

It seems like Arsenal is not willing to give up again this fresh season, they are currently having a good game, they scored one goal in the first half by Kai Havertz through a great cross for Bukayo Saka. Saka is here again this season with amazing performance, so far, Arsenal dominated the first half even though Wolves have some chances including a good cross that was saved by David Rays.

Basically, Arsenal starts most seasons very well and the team spirit in this first game of the season is amazing just look at the coordination of the Arsenal boys, it's lovely to watch. Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka have just shown they have the Arsenal spirit in their mind even when they played pre season matches it was very visible in their commitment. The second half of the game is already underway and Arsenal is expected to net more goals in order to get a good win against Wolves but even if they can't score more goals they should try and protect the one already scored till the end of the match because wolves is one technical team in the premier league that can put some surprises at any given time so Arsenal should be careful not to concede any goal from them and they should also try and maintain a clean sheet and possibly come out the lowest goal conceded just like last season.

It's halftime at Portman Road and English Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town is playing out a goalless draw with Liverpool. I watched the whole of of the first half and if I must be honest, the hone team and been very impressive with their performance so far. Many wouldn't have a predicted that Liverpool at halftime would not have found the back of the net. Ipswich Town haven't just been soaking every pressure from Liverpool but  had also created more goals scoring chances than Liverpool. For the fans of Ipswich Town, I think it's a very satisfying first half for them as they'll be hoping for their players to shock Liverpool by winning the game. Do you think the game is going to end in favour of the home or away team?

I thought Liverpool would be able to dominate the game because their opponent is a team that has just been promoted to the Premier League but, it turned out that Ipswich was able to hold Liverpool to a draw until the first half ended. What I saw was that Ipswich had very high motivation and did not look tired of chasing wherever the ball was, and it seems that is what makes it difficult for Liverpool to penetrate (Liverpool didn't even have a shot on target throughout the first half).

Liverpool still had a chance because there was still the second half but they had to improve their performance because if they kept playing like the first half, then it will be difficult for them to get 3 points.

Ipswich showed good strength in the first half and I like the fact they were able to hold Liverpool but going into the second half, Ipswich was unable to maintain same spirit they started with and Liverpool found the back of their net as Diogo Jota scored in the  60th minute after an assist from Mohammed Salah and just after 5 minutes Mohammed Salah recorded his name in the score sheet. If peradventure the match ends in 2:0 or Liverpool scores more goals, they will be topping the table pending other results between today and tomorrow.

Looking at how tough yesterday match between Fulham and Manchester United was before Manchester United won and also seeing almost same thing today in the match between Liverpool and Ipswich, it's to set a signal that the premier league is up for competitiveness this season. I like the energy of the teams that has played so far. I also like the energy of Liverpool in this game and thanks to Mohammed Salah for still continuing with the squad after some rumors came out last season about his possible move to Saudi league but he tried for still remaining in Liverpool because he is one of the strong force in the squad and for this game against Ipswich, i chose him as the man of the match.

This season the Premier League is ablaze. Simply consider the games from today. Every team's fighting tooth and nail for those early points. Let us now also discuss Ipswich. They let Liverpool run for their money, not least of which is Thats smart management, folks. They virtually held Liverpool off for an hour. Then, Liverpool starts to really pick it. And who's leading the charge? Salah, of course. Assist, goal, all within minutes. Unbelievable.

Last season was a nail-biter, remember. The top teams separated by barely a few points. Now, especially in early in the season, every game matters. Liverpool's depth might thus be their secret weapon. Watch out, Chelsea, Arsenal! This is going to be an amazing journey.

I just wish Ten Hag could learn how to bench Rashford, Mount, and Bruno for a while and tryna utilize the newly signed players more often to see how progressive the team can go with them in the premier league title race.

I agree with benching Marcus Rashford but not Bruno Fernandez. Yesterday the substitute made by Erik ten Hag was wrong, how can he allow Marcus Rashford to continue in that game? When you look at the game, both wings weren't effective. The right wing was more productive and effective than the left but Erik Ten Hag substituted Amad Diallo rather than Marcus Rashford. Bruno Fernandez was used as false nine, he was even used off his best position.

Mason Mount was great yesterday. He contributed to the success of the high pressing yesterday. He is more of a sqaud player than I even expected. In between, he had a whole lotta Injuries last season.

Shout Out to Harry Maguire,  Lisandro Martinez and Mazraoui. It was such a great debut game for him. I'm not boggled to see that he blend into the squad immediately. Top quality player.

As we have expected Arsenal are very confident and we know their ambition this season to win the title so Arsenal will try to secure every match and that's the reason why I bet on Arsenal in the first half. I think the strong teams will try to win their first match after that we can see which teams have potential to compete in the top 4 Aston Villa will be one of our concerns because last season they played impressively today they will face West Ham we know this is not an easy game especially when Aston Villa are playing away but I expect both teams to score, West Ham as the home team certainly does not want to lose or lose points.

It's a very difficult game for Wolves here as the gunners are making the pitch a living hell for them to settle with the ball. So far, Arsenal's momentum and energy in the entire time played has been that of victory, so solid and persistent on getting more goals after that superb header from Kai Havertz it didn't stop Saka from porting the second goal. A fantastic left stroke giving arsenal a 2 goal lead at the moment. 

I fancy that arsenal haven't dropped a bit of form compared to their last season's performance, like they keep getting better and improving with each season. Go on Gunners!

OK, just as I was typing this comment, I decided to check scores again before I hit the post button, and amazingly, Arsenal have scored their second goal in the 74" minute of the match, it was a very clean one from Saka, a very impressive goal there.

I don't want to start praising Arsenal since personally, I think Wolves isn't such a strong team and I expected this to be an easy win for Arsenal, so, it's too early to judge Arsenal's performance for this season, let me wait and see how they will play when they face a stranger opponent.

Arsenal tried their best for their first match and that's what made this match so good for them.
Statistically speaking, their possession wasn't that good and maybe they didn't pay much attention to that because the focus was on the attack and we can see that even though their possession was actually balanced, the quality of the attack actually showed that Arsenal dominated today's match.
The final score is unlikely to change where Arsenal will still be the winner with 2 goals they managed to record especially if you look at the time now that it has entered extra time it is very difficult for Wolves to develop with conditions like this.


In another match, it was a little surprising for me where Brighton really went crazy especially with the advantage of their players doing the first match with very good results where they scored 3 goals against Everton.

Arsenal has already earned three points for dominating the game, and they deserve to win it. Arteta has started the season with a good record, and I hope they can keep it up and have a chance to win the league, because Arsenal usually performs well at first, but then they start to perform poorly, allowing other teams to overtake them in the league table. I really enjoyed their game today because they did well, and all of the big teams in the league are starting the season with a good performance. Manchester United won their game against Fulham, Liverpool won theirs, and Arsenal won a good victory against the wolves, so all of the coaches are doing well. The biggest game this weekend is against Manchester City and Chelsea, and the game will be very difficult because Chelsea will do anything to win because they are playing at home. I believe the game will end in a draw, but Guadiola is a very talented coach, so anything can happen in the games.

If I remember correctly Liverpool have never won their first game with their new manager this century. In this respect it's important to win the first game with Slot. In the first half, Arsenal managed to dominate the match and they were able to take the lead faster with Havertz goal in the 25th minute, but precisely after the goal happened Arsenal game looked very chaotic, even at the beginning of the second half Wolves were able to dominate the match and made the Arsenal defense work quite hard, the great opportunity that occurred in front of the Arsenal goal failed to be used well by the Wolves attackers after Saliba made a blunder,  To be honest, if you look at Arsenal's current game is still far below the performance they showed last season, even though in today match Arsenal was superior to Wolves but in my opinion there are still many improvements that must be made by Arteta at this time to maximize their game for next match,  difficult to imagine what happened to Arsenal today if it was not Raya who became the goalkeeper, because throughout the match Raya has made many crucial saves that are indeed able to prevent Arsenal from conceding in today match.

A big win that I didn't really predict from the start but it's been great to complement the wins I've had in the bets I've made.

First, let me congratulate my dear favorite football club; Arsenal, for their win today against wolves, but like I did mentioned in my last comment here on the thread, it is absolutely too early to start praising Arsenal, there is still a very long way to go, they played well today quite alright, but we should also remember that Wolves is not such a strong team after all, Arsenal's win as highly expected in this match.

Saying that Arsenal team is one of the best teams in this season is like saying that your child is the overall best for an examination he or she hasnt even sat for or written, it's just the beginning of the season, and wolves is a weak team like many of us know, lets allow Arsenal face and defeat a stronger team before we start praising them.

A pretty good first game for Arsenal against Wolves, where indeed in the first half Bukayo Saka continued to make shot attempts but always failed and finally his cross resulted in a goal for Harvertz, and in the second half Saka managed to get his first goal for this season, 2-0 for Arsenal's victory in his first match.

For the first time after a long while, I enjoyed watching Manchester United play, most of their players performed well and even Harry Maguire that makes lots of errors defensively really tried and saved Manchester United in several occasions not to talk of the new signings they all shined in their first game and have shown that they deserve wearing the shirt. What i noticed in yesterday's match is that Manchester United have developed from a poorly defensive side into a better team defensively, well we're yet to see how they'll perform against a big side, but if they maintain or even upgrade how they played yesterday, I don't think any other team would match them defensively this season. They missed several opportunities and would've scored more goals in the first half, Marcus Rashford played well but he still got lot's of improvement to do if he wants to continue being in the first team and the introduction of Zirkzee and Garnacho was the best decision made by Erik Ten Hag in that match, though Garnacho made some wrong moves but it paid off afterall, Zirkzee was class he's really 9.5 striker as said by him, but an addition of a player like Toney would give Manchester United an advantage to score more goals.

It was Garnacho who passed the ball into the penalty area and Joshua Zirkzee captured that, who scored on his debut in Old Trafford   

Although it was a 1-0 win for Manchester United, but I think the Manchester United squad played really well. Zirkzee scored the winning goal at the end and he was the new signing. Happy to see that after a long time, a new signing in the Manchester United squad is actually performing and not losing his form right after joining. Most of the new signings, De Ligt, Mazraoui, Zirkzee everyone got a chance and everyone played well. Feels like a new Manchester United squad. Hopefully, with this refreshing squad, they can do something this season. They got their first win at the first match of their season which is a very good start.

I was surprised to see that Bruno Fernandes was playing as a forward in this match. I thought Zirkzee would be starting the match. They created good chances and I believe Zirkzee could have made a change at the final score if he had started the game.  Antony has been a flop signing for Manchester United and he was not given the chance to play yesterday. Don’t know if this will stay this way for the rest of this season, hopefully, he gets back to his peak form.

And also in the first half, the home team played well, at least they could still anticipate Liverpool's game. Entering the second half, they started to find their game and they created opportunities that they didn't waste to convert into a goal. A good start for their new coach because they were able to get positive results at the start of the official match. At least that could make him more able to raise his mentality and motivation to bring other victories in the future.
