Arteta continues to do a good job, there is no decline they continue to improve the performance of the game while Saka plays as usual Havertz is doing a good job as he has started to find many minutes with Arsenal.

It's very obvious that if Maresca is the next potter. And we sacked Pochettino to completely destroy the club. And the worst part is, when we see the fact that if Enzo can't even play in any positions. He can't play as number 10, 8 or 6. We wasted 90 million to get a horrible talent like him. Whenever Enzo F played for us, we lost.

Gallagher is 10 times better than Enzo F. I prefer to keep Gallagher, but we got scammed by buying Enzo for a silly price.

It's only the first round, I think talking about the leaderboard is too early. Chelsea almost had a goal but Jackson was off side unfortunately. This match is entertaining so far.

This is not what is expected from Chelsea this season after bringing in almost 12 players this season, trying is not a 3 point they have nothing to show for the money that was spent so far, yes they managed to conceed two goals but they wasted a lot of chances that would have resulted to goals if well converted knowing that they are playing against a much better team that takes every little chance to punish her opponents. Based on your opinion, next match is not far again for you to see if Chelsea will get better but I think the team needs to get a good striker to keep the attack very active.

Now taking a lean backwards a little and look in to all the earlier activities through out the period before the new season started.

I expected Manchester United to win easily in the first match of the season, but that didn't really happen. Manchester United had to fight hard to score goals, but I was grateful because in the end one goal from the new striker made Manchester United win. This is Joshua Zirkzee's first goal for Manchester United in an official match, I hope Ten Hag can give him more time to help the team win the next match.

Joshua Zirkzee scored a goal in his debut match, it was truly a wish come true for him. Ten Hag needs to consider playing Joshua Zirkzee as the main striker when Rasmus Højlund is injured, that's better in my opinion than playing Bruno as a striker.

I think Joshua Zirkzee not starting the match was a sharpness issue, rather than a tactical decision. Zirkzee had a decent preseason, and after having a good entry in the first match, I think it's not too far away till we see Zirkzee in the starting XI, and dominating the attack with the help of Bruno, Mount and Amad. Hojlund's return should make the attack even more lightning.

Well, about the slow start of Man United, this portrays what Erik Ten Hag said earlier in the press, "The team is not ready, but the season starts." We now see what's wrong with the squad and why ETH has skeptical about the rather smaller preseason. We know Fulham is a good team, so they deserve some props here too. But given the squad Manchester United now has, it's okay for us to expect a lot too. Ten Hag demands more, but he also is responsible for fielding a proper XI, who will serve to their proper roles.

The worst thing is that, the management will not take the blame for changing coaches anyhow, they feel that money can do everything and they have started seeing the repercussions of sacking Pochettino that has started shaping the team to a better team than it was under the last two managers despite all the money spent in signing players.

Today’s match is not impressive for Chelsea, they are playing at home against the defending Champions, I understand how difficult Manchester City team is to defeat, but at least in their first match, the need to be more coordinated in the game. Chelsea indeed fought very well in that match. In fact, I think their performance is not that bad. Losing by 2 goals without reply by Man City is normal considering that Man City has been the strongest club in the Premier League in the last few seasons. Meanwhile, Chelsea, which is full of young players, is just a club that is trying to get back on its feet. Because on the other hand, Chelsea is a club that has been in decline for several seasons. And I think Chelsea in this match can also match Man City. It's just that Chelsea's defense is not as good as Man City's. Interesting, Pep is back to implementing the system that has always been his mainstay. Usually Pep plays a 4-2-3-1 pattern, but it seems there is a change in the first match of Manchester City vs Chelsea. maybe, he wants to see the performance of his team especially for the duet of Mateo Kovacic and Rico Lewis. because, if Rodri is not injured he will be played with John Stones. besides, Pep rotated the positions of Savinho and Jeremy Doku in this match. who knows what Pep is planning, but his team is doing their job very well. 0-2 victory for City, I assume City will perform much better in the next matches. in the home camp, Chelsea had to be defeated by Manchester City. naturally, City is much more solid because their game has been very formed. while Chelsea, Maresca maybe he needs more time so that his team is able to play as he expects. plus the role of a striker who is indeed hungry for goals is Chelsea's need, Nicolas Jackson has not been able to play as the team needs in terms of scoring goals. unfortunately, he got injured and was replaced by Marc Guiu. I have been discuss several times regarding Chelsea transfer behaviour because what i do not understand is why they bought so many young players which mostly those players is not the key players from their previous clubs because i think this transfer is very risky and in my opinion what Chelsea needed is several experience players who potentially can make Chelsea to performing better but unfortunately Chelsea looks didn't learn from their mistakes and still do the same thing just like they did last season

About Gallagher his matches statistics for last season is much better compared to Enzo Fernandez even i have to says he is Chelsea key player who successfully to lifted up Chelsea performance and Chelsea should be hold him and they had to grant Gallagher's request with extended his contract i think this is much better rather than sell him and bought new midfielder player

Maresca conceding just two goals from his former boss, who happens to be the best manager in the premier league for years now, I think he tried his best, by motivating his boys to give their best. The truth is, whether you work under pep or not, it does not give any manager the guarantee of defeating him. We've seen how difficult it was for arteta to crack the code(but not fully cracked). Pep is absolutely genius, so I will give massive credits to maresca for today's game. Let's see how they will perform against other teams(maybe the newly promoted sides), then we will know their level of improvement.

Jackson has so far missed some good scoring opportunities and it is not going to help them that much. When you are playing against Manchester City you have to convert every single opportunity that comes your way, because you are not guarantee of many. Another thing is that Enzo Fernandez is going down too easily in Manchester City box, it looks like he is looking for penalty. Because of this he is missing some good scoring opportunities too. If Halland had gone down that easily he wouldn't have scored the opening goal. Chelsea have to rise to the occasion in the second half and be more clinical with their finishes. Jackson should be drop as soon as the second half starts if not they won't score in this game.

I think many of the Blues supporters would prefer to see goals rather than "they tried". Believe you me, Enzo Maresca didn't learn anything as an assistant under Pep Guardiola because if he had, he'd know the kind of person hes playing against. Arsenal have been one of the favorites to win the title in recent seasons, so I'm not surprised about the win against Wolves. Arsenal will also be favorites to win 3 points in the next match against Aston Villa, of course that would be great if Arteta really continues to win.

It's kind of funny you know when everyone expect Chelsea to win Manchester City, not like Guardiola has been changed as the head of Manchester City coach, not like the squad were reshuffled or some players were sold and they think Chelsea is going to perform a miracle or some kind of magic when everyone are fighting already for top of the league, maybe not today but Chelsea doesn't has what it takes to win the league or perhaps I'm the one not yet convinced about them.

There is going to be another run up again like last season. I can't stop laughing at this Super Sunday game between ChelseavsMan City, like what in God's name is Jackson doing on that pitch? Is it not better for Chelsea to play with 10 men than having him (Jackson) running and making a mess of himself, even if the ball was an offside call he can't convert it, is a shame. I don't agree with all you have said because Jackson is not as bad as you are presenting him to be. If there are people who have made attempt from the Chelsea side, he should be at the top of that. If he were that bad, the coach would have removed him but he is still very much in the game and other players are changed and not him. Of course, Chelsea's excellent performance at Manchester City was good, but their loss was normal. Because we know Manchester City is one of the toughest and strongest team who are most successful now. And the game Chelsea saw against them was good but they will surely look for better performance in the next matches. Of course, we can assume that the Chelsea team will play well in the next matches, although they did not play very well against Manchester City.
However, Manchester City won this match and they are in the fourth position of the points table with three points, but they will play better in the next matches to stay at the top.

I was shocked to see Enzo Fernández wearing the captain’s armband for Chelsea after his racist chanting in the Copa América. Despite the supposed “show of support” the club and his teammates have given him, Enzo gave a terrible performance today. This was his chance to prove his worth in the team and he flopped badly. Overall Chelsea was playing like it was a preseason game. This is not the performance I expect from a club that has spent loads of money signing new players.
