Of course, Leicester is indeed a team that has better players, they are able to keep up with Tottenham. Meanwhile, Ipswich they had to lose because they were against Liverpool. Meanwhile, Sothampton lost to the rich club Newcastle. This result is certainly not a picture of 1 season but I hope these 3 promoted teams are able to compete to work hard to stay in the EPL.

It was expected that Leicester would get a point yesterday. They really proved the saying "easy does it". If you look at the stats, you'd see that from the get go, Tottenham were calling the shots and eit that early goal from Pedro Poro( P.P) at the KP (King power) stadium, you'd think that more goals would follow suit but all they could get for their troubles is corners and fouls but for Leicester, with any little chance they get, they try to cause damage.
 It's a new season for Postecoglu and with how he began last season with a bang, many fans felt they will do something better today. Honestly I'm not surprised by the result because Leicester are a very good team and Tottenham Hotspur aren't a club you can rely on to give you three points.

Despite the club owner willingness to splurge part of his wealth in the transfer market for Chelsea to recruit the new players according to the newly appointed manager wish list, Chelsea still lost their opening match against Manchester City in front of their home fans. I guess it will not take a long time for Chelsea to replace their club manager once again if the new manager are only able to lead Chelsea hovering around the middle of the table throughout the whole new season.

Indeed, Chelsea's recruitment in the transfer market was a failure, just a waste of money, but Maresca still has a lot of time and opportunity to fix everything, starting a new season against Man City is not an easy matter, especially since Guardiola's team has not changed the line-up too much, still relying on last season's strength, unlike Chelsea who is currently building strength. and in last night's match the strength shown by both teams was fairly balanced, so Chelsea can still aim for position 4 or 5 in the final standings, that is proof for Maresca not to be fired like the previous coach. another thing if we talk about trophies everyone will doubt it.

Last night we could see Leicester's comeback to the EPL and as one of the promoted teams they certainly did not want to go back to the championship division. Unfortunately in that match they had to draw 1-1 against Spurs and indeed this was not an easy match for Leicester. However Spurs are one of the strongest and their consistency is also unquestionable.

In all fairness, it was indeed a brilliant start for Leicester. I was actually expecting them to get battered by Tottenham judging from their preseason performance but they proved me wrong. Although they sitted back through out the first half but played so much better in the second half.

I noticed how they were playing with confidence and that's what premier league is all about, they will stay in the league if they maintain this confidence in every game. They had the chance to win the game if they were more clinical but the missed numerous chances to put the game to bed. However, their defense needs to be more solid likewise the midfield because it was where Tottenham ruled the roost in the first half.

It’s just Game week 1. Let’s give it some time. Did you remember the season Portsmouth led the table for 8 weeks? They deserve the benefit of doubt although Newcastle & Liverpool who were the opponents of the other promoted teams aren't small fries. I also observed that the other clubs have splashed on transfers comparably to Leicester city.

It's still too early to call tbh; However, Ipswich knew exactly what they wanted by signing PL level players and it clearly showed in their first game against a top top side and I'm tipping them to stay up this season. They look like the best of the rest even though they lost their first game of the season.

Brighton really had a great start that I did not expected them to do, they look like a very good team if you ask me and could be one of the surprise of this season. I am not joking, if they play like this all season long then I think we can see them finish in the top four, which would be their highest finish I can remember, and it really looks like their hard work of finding good young talents seems like it's working.

Actually a bit surprised to see Everton lost with huge scores from Brighton and i can see it that Brighton progress under Fabian Hürzeler is really impressive because since pre season tour Brighton is still unbeated with gets 4 consecutive win and yesterday is their 5th winning under Fabian Hürzeler and previously i was doubt to Fabian Hürzeler because he was lack of experience to train premier league teams even before train Brighton Fabian Hürzeler status only the manager of Bundesliga 2 team St. Pauli

Besides Fabian Hürzeler factor i think why Brighton can find their shape again because Kaoru Mitoma have already recover from his injured and return to playing and you can see his performance last week he was very impressive but for almost every season Brighton always be playing inconsistency because usually they good at the beginning of league and poor when the league almost near to ended and it's quite interesting to know whether Fabian Hürzeler can able to managed Brighton consistency or not but next weekend Brighton will faced Manchester United and this is hard match for them

We have just few minutes to the end of the game, the score remains 1-1 because Jamie Vardy leveled the score for Leicester City in the 57th minutes of the match and they maintain their defensive quality to avoid more goals in the game because Tottenham is completely dominating the game and might win in the final minutes if they are lucky.

I was doubting Leicester City’s quality because they change coach and some of their players left them after they won the Championship under the management of Vincent Kompany, now I will not underrate them and they are out of my relegation team plan because with the number of players they have lost is much, and yet, they are playing very well.

The match played in King Power Stadium, but Leicester City was struggle to beat Tottenham while Tottenham itself isn't a strong team.

It was a huge lose when Leicester City relegated to Championship since their players choose to move to other teams like Maddison, Barnes, Castagne, Tielemans, Pérez etc. Now Leicester City need to re-build their teams back, which I think really hard since they're lack of funds.

Leicester City should be grateful that they got a draw against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday night. Tottenham Hotspur is far superior than the present Leicester team.  Leicester City are just coming back from relegation of which they lost quite a handful of their top players when they were relegated. My expectations for Leicester City this season is not that very much this season. If they can avoid relegation this season I think it will be enough for them. And I will say they have started in the right direction. Losing their coach who brought them out of relegation will have a little impact on them too. We all know the strength of Steve Cooper and how he led Nottingham Forest before his was sacked last year. So I won't say the draw against Tottenham Hotspur is a bad result for Leicester City, rather it was a bad result for Tottenham Hotspur.

Of the three teams promoted this season, Leicester City is the one we can hope for the most. Leicester, which achieved glory in the 2016 season, cannot always be underestimated. In the 2022 season, they have indeed been relegated. but it only takes one season for them to return to the premier league. As for the other two clubs, I don't think I expect much from them. But for Leicester, I don't think it's too much if we also hope quite well for them. Because holding Tottenham to a draw is a difficult thing. But they can do it. And next week Leicester will face Fullham and I don't think Leicester will lose any points in that match. At least they can even get 1 point back.

Even if we know that Chelsea performance sometimes is not encouraging but this there match against Manchester City I don't think is right for us to judge them because we had already know that Manchester City performance is more higher than Chelsea and besides even if Manchester City win the match but we annot also forget that Chelsea tried there best, so I think the only time we should judge or have a doubt about Chelsea performance is only when they are not able to win there next match against wolves that's when we can say that they have a weak team because already wolves is not that good on this season so they shouldn't be a too much problem for Chelsea.

We really shouldn't draw conclusions too quickly just based on the initial match. We have to be patient and wait for more matches to be played by them. And we must also remember that their new coach must adapt first. Because the season has just started and losing to Man City is quite natural. Maybe you are right, we might have to first see the results of the next match, namely next week when Chelsea face Wolves. Chelsea have indeed tried as best as they can and well we shouldn't have too high hopes for this squad which is full of young players. because young players sometimes need to adapt longer than experienced players.

Concluding based on the first match performance is never the right to do and like I said I will not blame Chelsea for losing the match because there new coach has not really identify the best way for them so perhaps after losing that match he would be able to understand the things that should be done in other to be getting the wining they deserve, however if i may ask what do you think about the Manchester City team this season, do you believe that they would be as good as they are last season?, because watching there match against Chelsea nothing has really change about them and instead they have even improve a lot and I believe they would be very consistent on this season because they would also like to retain the trophy again.

The Manchester city performance has never adapt down yet they started from where they stop last season, because if look at their performances in yesterday match against Chelsea there is nothing bad there they still in good form, that means if they maintain their consistency they might cook something this season.

But concerned the Chelsea performance is like the way they end the last season that’s how they come continuethis season again, because i didn’t not see any improvement with them and even thought their new coach has never identified the best way for them I think the players have to team up to make their performances to become better.

Of course Manchester City performance is still very strong, however I think Haaland will perform more better than last season because even if Manchester City won the trophy last season but Haaland was not consistent from the beginning to the end of the season, so after watching his performance on this match I noticed that this season will certainly be a good season for him and he was even one of the best player on that match and also maintain his scoring record, however I believe that Manchester City next match will not be a big deal for them because they would be meeting with Ipswich Town which shouldn't be that difficult for them, so perhaps Haaland should even use the match as an opportunity to score as many goals as he can.

Ah shit... Tottenham's draw made the parlay bet a mess while I chose the double chance odds of one of them winning instead of a draw.

In my opinion, Leicester looks stronger among all of the promoted clubs. And I'd rank Ipswich is probably the weakest one based on the result from the opening game of EPL.

Lastly, I have no comment on Ipswich's performance. They showed nothing against LFC.

I also agree with your opinion that Leicester City does look stronger than other teams that have been promoted this season. But regarding Ipswich, they were unlucky because they had to face Liverpool directly at the start of the opening match of the season. So their chances were very small in that match and it was only natural that they would lose in that match. But still, Ipswich didn't play that bad. They made things difficult for Liverpool's defense several times. But compared to the others, Ipswich does look weaker. But it all looks like that because their opponents are Liverpool. Liverpool's strength level is almost the same as Man City and Arsenal. So we cannot fully assess Ipswich's performance yet.

In the end, Leicester City could only hold Tottenham to a draw. And that's not a surprising result. In fact, for me, Leicester played well because they didn't lose to Tottenham. As a newly promoted team, Leicester looks stronger than other promoted teams. And that is natural considering that Leicester is one of the clubs that has won the Premier League, even though it has been going on for quite a long time. but it's not impossible if they can do it again. And yeah they played with quite confidence. And I see that Leicester City can indeed become a club that has a fairly high level again.

As I said in the previous post, although the Leicester City team has just been promoted, they are not worthy of being underestimated at this time especially since they have a very clear mission to repeat their past achievements, a draw is a fair result in this match but the score 1-1 was a bit disappointing for me because I hoped that in this match there would be more than 2.5 goals scored, I personally previously tried to analyze whether the current squad that Leicester will really be an obstacle for the big teams to get trophy, because their squad is currently filled by players who have been very loyal to Leicester City and it is clear that this creates good cohesiveness and chemistry between the players.

Jamie Vardy used to be one of key players in Leicester City and the 15th top scorer in English Premier League of all time. Unfortunately he is getting older and at the same time Leicester City is no longer a top team fighting for the title.
This first month, Leicester City doesn't have hard games to play except that one against Tottenham Hotspur in which they managed to pick a point. The second hard game will against Aston Villa which aren't that easy to won.

Jammy Vardy proved that he is still able to play in the EPL despite his old age. His success in scoring a goal was celebrated quite emotionally while giving a signal to the home fans who mocked him that he and Leicester had succeeded in winning the EPL title compared to Spurs who always failed to achieve their dream. I am still quite sure that Vardy will continue to score goals throughout this season even though not as much as before and Leicester's chances of staying in the EPL are also quite big.

The issues with Chelsea from last season, the friendly games played has always been obvious. It's no other than a clinical finisher, a proven striker who can convert whatever chances they have created. Todd Boehly has just been overdoing honestly. He has just decided to spend stupidly rather than solve the main issue.

Well, I will say they played well but then, it's good to see the disappointing results so that fans can send Todd Boehly a clear message that they're not satisfied with his transfer if he fails to land a concrete central forward before the transfer window comes to an end. Sacking the new manager? I won't be boggled, he's not the first and won't be the last. Doing that though displays how poor the management of Chelsea has been.

Tottenham's players have 71% of the ball possession. Even a lot of attacks have been done by Tottenham players. Even then they could not break the defense of Leicester City. I wouldn't say Tottenham played badly. But Tottenham should have won this match. Tottenham failed.

Disappointment was clearly visible on Ange Postecoglou face after his team was held to a draw by Leicester City. Tottenham, who played away at the King Power Stadium, were highly favored to win the match due to Leicester status as a promoted team. Tottenham dominated the game with 70 percent possession and managed to fire off 15 shots, seven of which were on target. Their efforts to win the first game were thwarted by Jamie Vardy's goal, Tottenham had to go home with one point because they were unable to score any additional goals in the remaining match.
Tottenham played very well in this match and managed to dominate the home team, but due to poor finishing they had to be satisfied with a draw. Ange Postecoglou must immediately fix the weaknesses of his front line in finishing, the sharpness of the front line needs to be considered to achieve maximum results in the next game against Everton.
