I feel the Chelsea coach should be given an ample time for him to make mistakes and correct them, aspectations are high and everybody is literally on his neck because they want to see a new Chelsea this season which is not a wrong expectation.

However, this season too, Chelsea will form a squad with a new coach. Looking forward to seeing if Enzo Maresca will make Chelsea stronger again. But the Chelsea team is in a very bad position right now. Rapid improvement is not possible for this team. But if Maresca has long term plan then maybe Chelsea's overall situation will change slowly and we will see stable performance from Chelsea.

I just hope Chelsea are not making a mess out from themselves, too many players but less productivity, not to judge from this first performance against a team like Mancity which I would not say Chelsea played poorly but I suggest a circle for more improvements. Chelsea are not going to end up being the laughing agenda from other clubs, I believe they will pick in good form and achieve better results before it goes deeper into the league. Maresca surely knows what his doing, all he needs is time and definitely both the club and fans will get to enjoy his productiveness to the club, I just hope he doesn't get fired too early like they did with Pochettino which was entirely unfair.

In the closing match of the week, we watched Leicester City and Totthenham. Totthenham played good football in the match but failed to win away from home. Jamie Vardy scored early in the second half and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Of course I expected Tottenham to win this game because they are the favorites and it would be advantageous for them to start the league well.  The fact that Vardy is still performing like this at the age of 38 is a real bonus for Leicester.

Jamie Vardy used to be one of key players in Leicester City and the 15th top scorer in English Premier League of all time. Unfortunately he is getting older and at the same time Leicester City is no longer a top team fighting for the title.
This first month, Leicester City doesn't have hard games to play except that one against Tottenham Hotspur in which they managed to pick a point. The second hard game will against Aston Villa which aren't that easy to won.

Jamie Vardy returned to the Premier League and immediately scored! He even managed to get into a spat with Romero, pointing to the EPL logo and showing the numbers 1 and 0. He might have been hinting at the number of Premier League titles won.

Tottenham, despite having 73% possession, somehow ended up with a draw. It feels like the team hasn’t changed much over the summer.

I'm not sure what the main reason is for Chelsea; they buy a lot of players but still don't perform well in the league, so what is the reason for Chelsea's failure to improve in the Premier League? They haven't made the fans happy for the past three years, and their performance has been very poor. I don't think it's the players that are Chelsea's problems; it's something else. If Chelsea can't perform anymore, they should just fire that coach because I don't see why they keep buying players but can't perform well in their first home games. I will really judge them because it is the opening match of their season. They can recover and do well in the rest of the tournaments, but they need to put more effort in the games if they what to achieve trophies this season. and even thinking Chelsea will do well in the Europa League this season but with how am seeing, they start the season with lose i feel discourage with them but let see how the season will be this days or they will improve later. Chelsea should remove Jackson from the starting eleven because he can miss many chances before scoring one. They should look for another striker since I don't see his performance, which is how he finished last season, losing numerous chances that would have put Chelsea ahead.

Chelsea probably wanted to strengthen their attack. This is why neto bought Dewsbury-Hall. Whether these two players will play well with Chelsea's squad remains to be seen. And it depends on the coach.

Chelsea management should allow their coach to work independently, not obstruct or interfere with any of the coach's work. Then Chelsea's performance is likely to stabilize somewhat. But I would be happy if Chelsea could buy Osimhen. Osimhen is a talented scorer. With a striker like Osimhen in Chelsea's attack, Chelsea's attack performance would be more stable and strong.

If Todd Boehly gives every coach who comes to the Chelsea club a long time, then this club can actually develop better. And likewise, if Enzo Maresca is given a few seasons, it is very likely that Enzo Maresca will also be able to make Chelsea better with the existing squad. Your opinion looks somewhat reasonable but you should understand that nothing is impossible, Pochettino almost made top 4 last season despite that being his first season with the team. They are quite inexperienced both the players and the coach but they have a lot of talented players that can easily be groomed to stars if the coach does his part well.

I don’t see them having internal issues i just know that the owners have the problem of patience, they are not patient enough to give managers time. If they can give Enzo Maresca time to build his team I believe he is destined for greatness.

I don't think you shouldn't be putting more blame on Tottenham for not winning Leicester City despite they came back from relegation, let me remind you about 2015/16 season when Leicester City came out from relegation the appear very strong and confidence, and many strong teams then find it difficult to defeat them at King Power Stadium, they won 12 matches, draw 6 and lost one game, I think you can see Leicester City don't joke when playing at King Power Stadium, they are very strong at home, Tottenham had did their best but not on the King Power Stadium.

Although this is just a beginning of the league which some are saying that is too early to judge the Chelsea performance, but for me is not too late the way Chelsea end their performances last season they suppose done make powerful improvements against this season and they didn’t that’s why people begin challenging them right from so that they can change the pattern of their playing, before the league can go far.

I don't think you shouldn't be putting more blame on Tottenham for not winning Leicester City despite they came back from relegation, let me remind you about 2015/16 season when Leicester City came out from relegation the appear very strong and confidence, and many strong teams then find it difficult to defeat them at King Power Stadium, they won 12 matches, draw 6 and lost one game, I think you can see Leicester City don't joke when playing at King Power Stadium, they are very strong at home, Tottenham had did their best but not on the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City is not a team that can be underestimated. because even though they were relegated, they are now back with the performance and quality like other strong teams in the Premier League. Leicester City is different from other promoted teams. So being able to hold Tottenham to a draw in yesterday's match is not too surprising. But I probably wouldn't expect much from Leicester city away from home. Because even if they are in a home match, they will already have difficulty controlling the course of the match, so it looks like they will have much more difficulty in an away match. But Leicester City can undoubtedly compete in the top 10 again if they are at their best. Meanwhile, Tottenham is still a strong team even though they failed to convert the many opportunities they got. because statistically on the field we can see various advantages from various aspects displayed by Tottenham. Finishing the match in a draw and sharing the points with Tottenham was a great achievement for Leicester City even though Tottenham won’t be so happy with that result. For a team that is just coming from relegation, this can be a motivation to them and put more efforts in their coming games in order to finish in a better position and not relegated again. The match was more possessed by Tottenham but what matters the most is who wins and grabs the points. Tottenham needs to sit up and make themselves more qualitative while Leicester will need to keep the good performance up to be on a good side for their subsequent games.

You are talking about the top 4 ranks and I think you are expecting to see Chelsea in the top side of the table in this season while other teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Manchester United but better situations than this team and compared to these teams, they can have much better performance than Chelsea.

The Leicester City team can be said to have a high level of discipline in defense. Which makes their defense quite difficult to penetrate. But yeah, all that won't be enough if Leicester wants to get a better place in the premier league. Maybe they managed to hold Tottenham to a draw. But if Leicester City competes with several other strong teams such as Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool, Leicester's defense will not be strong enough to continue to withstand the opponent's attacks. But I also won't underestimate Leicester, which is not a weak team. And still getting 1 point from the match against Tottenham is already good enough for this team.

Vardy is nearly 38 years old, incredible that he’s still scoring goals at the top level.

Tottenham were not initially priced as super sure winners of this game (the odds were 1.73), but I still took them and Atletico for my two long multi bets  And now I don't even have to wait for other outcomes. Last season Tottenham started off great, and I hoped that with a comfortable opening match they would start this season with a win, but no. They play Everton in the next round and if they lose points again, it will most likely mean that they are not in contention for anything this season.

Chelsea might actually improve a bit but their will not be much changes because it is to early and they can not get instant success, if Chelsea work hard they can actually make it to top four but am not sure for top three, it going to take them a lot to actually make it to the top three because to be able to defeat Manchester City and arsenal then Liverpool will actually take a lot of effort to be able to accomplish that, and their internal problems is looking as if it is beyond repair for now and they will definitely manage their self and let's see what they will play this season.

They have changed coach more than any other coach and nothing is changing, and is everyone that is looking forward to what Chelsea will perform since they feel their coach is up to task or not but if they don't get results I feel they will still give him little opportunity because they can not continue sacking coaches if they continue that way they won't make any difference. They should give him time to do the necessary, things because if they actually wants to rush things at the end of the day, there will be the one that you get disappointed so they should allow demand to do his team no rush enough time. I'm really happy for Leicester City, I couldn't believe they would be able to pin down Tottenham but it seems they have understood the advantage of been at home and in sure they must have learnt that from their last Championship they won which qualified them to Premier League this season but this celebration is too early, a time will come when every corner of this league will be tough, that's the moment I want to see how potential they can be.

To be honest, this is a score that I think is quite appropriate because after all, with what happened yesterday we can see how persistent Leicester defended 1 point especially after Jamie Vardy scored the equalizer.

Tottenham did play very well also in this match because indeed their goal was 3 points just seeing from Leicester's resistance with their enormous enthusiasm in the end Tottenham were unable to do much and had to be willing to lose full points in the match in their first match.

Seriously I also don’t see  Chelsea going higher than where they were last season. The club actually played a good game against Manchester city. The goals which is the most important thing in the game of football was what Manchester city had. Chelsea as usual or just like last season controlled the game but without a clinical striker just yet, they missed chances that would Have set Chelsea on the track to win the game. Fans will say it’s just the first game but I will say with way Chelsea played meant that without a proper striker they would be playing just like last season without results.

The other problem i think will arise at Chelsea this season is there midfield combination, with Gallagher gone and the arrival or return of Lavia back from injury will provide the coach more options which I think he got wrong in the game. First is I don’t think Enzo and this guys will work, against Manchester city, Enzo played as a No 10 which didn’t work. The pairing needs to be reduced to just two and an attacking midfielder is added, base on the current players in the club Cole Palmer as a 10 will be ok for me and then caicedo and Lavia playing a double pivot to help shield the defense

A good start for Leicester, and a fair result for both teams who both want to get full points in the first match. Tottenham actually dominated possession, and had many opportunities to score goals, but unfortunately they were not lucky enough. In addition, Leicester displayed their typical game, defending and counterattacking, they were quite lucky because they were able to make the match end in a draw. When I saw Jamie Vardy score a goal, it reminded me of what he did in the 2015-2016 season.

In essence, Tottenham must improve in the future to perform better, especially in terms of converting opportunities into goals, I think Ange Postecoglou understands this very well. Meanwhile, Leicester, we know that the magical season is difficult to repeat, and although it is not impossible, their success in securing 1 point indicates that they are really ready to compete in the Premier League. Leicester most realistic target is to try not to be relegated again, even though Enzo Maresca has now moved to Chelsea. Luckily, Leicester still have Jamie Vardy in the squad, who can be an example for other players to continue working hard to achieve their dreams.

If their players can stay fit and not get injured I believe they might do better than they did last season but not by much. The problem with Chelsea if they don't know how to solve their problem. Against Manchester City, they had 2 big problems for 90 minutes. One was creating chances while the other was Scoring the few chances they created. Now seeing these problems, how did Chelsea react? They went to sign Jaoa Felix. How exactly is that going to solve anything? Felix is a very inconsistent player. Don't let his highlight fool you. He is more of a moment of magic kind of player. He will do things that will make you think he's kaka one minute, but for the rest of the games, he will be awful till another moment of magic comes up again.

Well, I think they're about the complete the Osimhen and Lukaku transfer with Napoli, if they works out then Chelsea will be getting a good striker. He may not be as technical as the strikers above him but he will fit into this Chelsea team quite well.
