Yeah I have to admit it was like we were watching the final match even though it looked unbalanced because Arsenal played with 10 players, Manchester City as the home team clearly used all their abilities until the last second and recorded 33 shot attempts in the end a goal was scored in the 98th minute, it was a great effort with a great mentality. If both teams play with full squads maybe we will see a more intense fight and Arsenal will avoid playing defensively, overall it's not bad for Arsenal and they get 1 point.

In the next match Manchester City will face Newcastle somehow my gut feeling says both teams will draw, Newcastle can be a different team when playing at home I mean they have unexpected powers. On the other hand Arsenal will face Leicester City and it shouldn't be too difficult to predict this match, we know Arsenal still have ambitions to stay at least in the top 3 so they have to take advantage of all the matches that are considered easy. For this season I believe Arsenal is still the main competitor for Manchester City.

Arsenal walk away from Etihad with just 1 point. They should learn a lesson if parking the bus is not allowed at Etihad. They should try to win the game instead of playing parking bus and time-wasting like that.

As for City, they badly needed to get better with the variations against low-block or parking bus. They missed KDB, which hurt their creativity. They missed Rodri due to an injury. But, I'm happy to hear it was just a meniscus injury, not an ACL.

Also, stones equalizer in extra time saved them from losing three points. All in all, their overall performance is not good enough. They lack game breakers against Arsenal's parking bus.

In this match, I actually really admire the struggle of Arsenal players. Just imagine, playing with only 10 players, against Man City, even they seemed to play only half the field in Arsenal's home. And just imagine how noisy the atmosphere was in the stadium, in Man City's home. While Man City launched 33 shots and 9 of them were shots on target, which is very dangerous for Arsenal. However, Arsenal was actually able to provide a counter attack that almost made Man City lose.

Arsenal's game was truly extraordinary and to be honest I was also amazed by the quality of Arsenal's game where Arsenal's defense was really shaken but fortunately the Arsenal players were really strong in blocking Manchester City's attacks.

In accordance with my prediction that had previously doubted Man City could win this match, because the end result was a draw because Arsenal was able to match Man City's performance even though in the second half they lost one player but that did not make them have any difficulty at all because they almost made Man City unable to score in the second half, but finally luck was on Man City's side who were able to score a goal at the end towards the end of the match.

This result has made a statement to all premier league team,that Arsenal can be very strong when they want to be defensive,infact the hold the best defensive record in the premier league,and I would have been more delighted if they had hold on to those three points and not allow Mancity score in the last minute,but I won't blame them because they were tired,since they were short of one player,it makes the work load to increase and especially when city were all out to score them.
By now,City will be more scared of Arsenal because they are more dangerous than they thought.

I don't expect this match to be an easy one for either of the teams whether Manchester city nor Arsenal because both teams are currently enjoying an unbeaten run so for this season which makes it difficult to predict the outcome of this match, nevertheless, if Manchester city can show some character in this match coupled with the fact that they would be playing at home infront of the home fans which could be an added advantage and also might be a determining factor which may also influence the outcome of this match.

Both arsenal and Manchester city had a disappointing start in their champions league appearances respectively in the midweek where they both saw a goal-less draw when arsenal went to Atalanta and Manchester City against inter at home, but in today's fixture expectations are high and alot of people are anticipating for a thrilling showdown,  I think Manchester city are going to win by a slim margin today.

I didn't see anything interesting from Arsenal in this game, they played an ugly game by wasting time and implementing a total defensive strategy after successfully scoring a goal from Walker's lack of alertness, another one resulted from a set piece header from Gabriel Magalhaes. Arsenal's victory that was in sight had to be lost after Jhon Stones scored a dramatic goal in the 90+8 minute. Once again, Manchester City players showed a champion's mentality, they never gave up when there was a rival who wanted to steal 3 points at the Etihad stadium.

Arteta seems to have made Arsenal always stronger from season to season. Because I was surprised that Arsenal was even able to take the lead in that match. Maybe if Arsenal hadn't lost one player due to a red card then Arsenal could have won the match. By maintaining the advantage obtained from the first half until the end of the match in the second half. But they defended very well in the second half even though they only played with 10 players.

Arsenal don't just need to be good from season to season. They need to back it up with trophies if not they'd only be setbacks to teams who want to move forward and not be doing anything positive for themselves.

And this is the second season that Man City has failed to beat Arsenal in the Premier League. Because last season Man City always failed to beat Arsenal. And it looks like this time it will be the same.

This is just the first leg that they played and the citizens were unable to collect the three points at the Etihad so I'm wondering how they'd manage when they come to the Emirates. I doubt Pep Guardiola will get points there.

Why's it always about City, Liverpool and  the big boys? The incompetency of Eddie Howe has ce.to my notice since last season but getting more and more visible to other folks. I know if he doesn't get them Into the top four it'll be a  good by for him at the end of the season. Playing all weeks with that squad in the Premier League Competition alone is a blessing and he should know how to utilize it. Brighton and Nothingham Forest was the game of the week for me. Nuno Espirito has been great since the Premier League Competition kicked off, I knew it would be hell difficult for Brighton to win them. Michael Oliver was too one sided yesterday. Do we need more evidence that the officials in the Premier League Competition are biased?

Yea, you are very much correct on this when talking of this week winners, sincerely speaking, Chelsea and Liverpool are the biggest winners this week because they get their maximum point when it really matters, when the top guys are playing each other and couple with the fact that Manchester united also  drop point in their own encounter with crystal palace, so it was a massive points for both Chelsea and Liverpool.
