Does this make Liverpool more in the race than Arsenal? I have lost confidence in both Arsenal and Liverpool to overtake Manchester city. I was thinking a new team will emerge this time, maybe Aston villa to surprise Manchester City.

I have not given up on Aston Villa, they can be the Bayern leverkusen of England this season. Even if they don't do upto Leverkusen, they can do something surprising to everyone this season.

It's up for the other top teams in the premier league to up their game by  putting up a strong challenge when playing Man City just like how Arsenal got two of their 3 maximum points Man City ought to have gotten had they win that match, truly clubs like Aston Villa, Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and possibly Man Utd should emulate Arsenal tactics abilities used to stop Man City, meanwhile I am expecting the top teams to be on title race though it's absolutely early to predict the winner based on the fact that all the clubs has small point margin, however I don't think the league would experience a wide gap margin which is synonymous with other European leagues.

I don't think Gundugan can replace Rodri to play the defensive midfield role. He's old and gets tired easily. He doesn't press that much and is not a reliable ball-winner. On the ball, he's very calm and calculative, but without the ball, he's not good at all. Manchester City will definitely miss Rodri. That doesn't mean they can't win the league, but without Rodri, the Champions League will be even more difficult to win.

Without Rodri their midfield will be very tough to pass out from. KDB is great but he lacks the speed, the physicality and the defense as well, all KDB is providing is passing and playmaking, Rodri was their entire midfield in that sense and I think this could finally be the season where they lose. Arsenal looks fine, other teams look fine too, I think Manchester City could get lucky, I am 100% sure that they are going to finish the season with less points than last season, and if Arsenal fails to win again, that means they had a worse season as well, so it's all up to Arsenal, if they want to finally win one, then this is the time for it and I bet City will be worse so if Arsenal is not even better, just as good as last season then they will be the champions.

There will be more challenges to Manchester City because Rodrigo's injury seems to be very serious and will take him out of the squad for the rest of the season, we know that he is one of the main men behind Manchester City's success especially while defending the back line; now Kevin Debruyne is also out for a while, I think Manchester City need to be very careful not to drop points before these players recover if not Liverpool and Arsenal will give them some points gap because this season's title race is very serious because Arne Slot is very keen to win the league same as Enzo Maresca, Uni Emrey and other managers; therefore, this season's Premier League title will be for a team with the squad depth because injuries will soon come especially during in international brake.

The difference in points between the teams in the relegation zone and the teams in the top rankings has become quite large. but that's a fairly common thing to happen. But one thing that I'm not used to is seeing Everton and Wolves who are now at the bottom of the standings. It seems like these two teams are really in bad shape so they are still having difficulty getting full points this season. Everton last season they were able to escape the relegation zone. But if this season they can't improve their situation then it will really make them relegated. but because the season is still long and there will be many things that will happen that may be beyond our expectations. But I am quite happy to finally be able to see Chelsea compete again in a better ranking. After several seasons they always struggled just to get back into the top 10.

Manchester City, the defending champion in the Premier League, is currently competing against Watford in the Carabao Cup and the match will soon end with Manchester City winning, of course, with a score of 2-1. And Chelsea also got a big win in today's match in the Carabao Cup, namely they won with a score of 5-0.

 But even as KDB lacks speed he still maintains a good composure and even if he can not score in a particular situation he will do everything possible for him to give an assist that is one of the qualities I love about KDB is one exceptional player that  so much love. Because of his nature of playing game. And one thing I notice is that all players can not be that perfect and they won't give you all you want so the best they can do is for them to accept and mix up talents so that everything will go well during every game. Arsenal does not look fine because they lack a lot of stamina right now they might be a very dangerous competitor to go against but since we have played against them already we are going to know their weaknesses and what happened in the last game am sure that it won't happen again.

Looks like you are an arsenal fans and you wish them to win and the way we are dominating we are just going to be another Real Madrid in the premier league winning it as much as we like, so their is going to be very tough decisions that pep have to start making because in our last game we almost lost the game to arsenal and we all know how proud arsenal players are even if they are unable to win any trophy. Their is nothing anyone will tell that arsenal will be able to win, it's all going to end in asumption.

Well, fortunately it was only a minor injury. But still, Kevin De Bruyne's injury-prone condition could make Man City wary of playing him full time. And for this reason, Pep must always be good at rotating players amidst the busy schedule that Man City always has every season. But so far we have seen that Pep can always overcome the problems that arise in every season with the squad he trains, namely Man City.

And I think Pep made the right move by playing a lot of young and second-string players in today's match against Watford in the EFL Cup. This allows the main players to rest more and prepare for the next match against a fairly strong team, namely Newcastle.

The loss of Rodri for a long time does make the situation in Manchester City's midfield have many gaps because after all, when De Bruyne is absent, Rodri is the one who has a vital role in the attack and defense scheme but we will not see his action for a long time now due to the injury suffered.

Pep now has to be extra attentive to players especially when De Bruyne is recovering because after all he is one of the players who has always been the driving force of the attack so that when later he has recovered then inevitably Pep must try to take better care and not overwork De Bruyne in the match because when he is suspended he is worried that there will be another injury suffered and that makes Manchester City lose even more.

That's quite reasonable because after all the EFL is just a competition that is considered not too important even though they don't want to be eliminated first but they will definitely make a lot of rotations especially for players who lack playing time when in more serious competitions such as in the EPL or Champions League.

But Manchester City is still strong even though they rotate heavily in this match because we can see that even though there are about 6 players who are rotated and make some new job options especially for Foden and Doku but their dominance really cannot be controlled.   Score 2-1 in this match seems natural and quite happy with the result even though they still have gaps for the new players who are still lacking in communication but still this win feels deserved for them.

This is why I asked a question on one of my post if Manchester City will miss Rodri and Kelvin De Bruyne, like you said these guys have very important to the club and they are the reason why City are very head strong in the midfield because you can't have Rodri and Kelvin De Bruyne on the same pitch and you say City will lose the midfield battle, no it can't happen. Manchester City are seriously going to feel a little bit down without these guys (Kelvin De Bruyne and Rodri) and it will affect their scoring machine Haaland because he is one player who only performs well when the team does well, he can't do something to bring the spirit of the team back to life if they don't provide that help for him so let's see it this way, other teams would like to have a test of that midfield and ones any team get hold of that midfield then it is finish but it won't be that easy.

Even if Arsenal and Liverpool do not meet your expectations, there is no way Aston Villa are finishing as league champions this season. The league is still fresh and more than 30 games yet to be played, it’s too early even to ascertain who will and will not finish first. The Manchester City you speak highly of even still gave a lot of tough fixtures ahead and it looks like their players are already getting tired or injured.

Arsenal probably had no other choice to get at least one point in this match, probably this is the first match when I watched how in such an important match, one of the teams (one of the contenders for the title), spent the whole half in their penalty area with the whole team. It seems to me that Arteta gave a practical guide on how other teams should act against City.  

Getting 1 point here is also very grateful, because the opponent is Man City, and moreover they got a red card. It is quite good for Arsenal to share the points. But on the contrary for Man City, this is a very very embarrassing result. A draw against Arsenal with 10 players, and at their home too. Even the shots that were incessant and hard were not able to split Arsenal's defense line.

Yes, fortunately de Bruyne's injury is not serious so he will be able to return soon. We were worried because of his long injury history last season, so he could be prone to injury again.

It is just obvious that Rodri doesn't know what he is saying. From the very beginning of Arsenal's game, they always play defensively and when they are with the ball they also attack with the same energy. What Arteta boys are doing is that when they have the ball they go for a goal and when the ball is against them everyone falls and defends. The reason for doing that is not because they want a draw game is because their pattern is to concede fewer goals and secure the chances of winning. Through set piece and counter attacks.

Everybody knows that Arsenal patterns of play is always like that and I cannot dispute the fact that is not a good strategy because is actually good for them since they are not only playing defensive patterns because what makes a club to be stronger in every match is when they are able to have a good attacking energy and at the same time being able to fallback whenever the need arises, this strategy was very helpful to the club against Manchester City because if they had not decided to fallback whenever Manchester City was coming to them they wouldn't have been able to draw the match.

In the front line of Manchester City there are few key players that normally create those scoring opportunities for them and whenever they are in possession of the ball they use to be very forceful in enhancing towards the goal post of there opponents, so if there opponents are the club who doesn't understand how there scoring opportunities is being build up they would always go through a lot of pressure but since Arteta is somebody that has work with Pep Guardiola he knows the need of attacking and returning back immediately if they lose possession of the ball so that they will certainly suppress Manchester City strategy.

In my observation, the key players that create chances for Manchester City on the front lines are Rodri, De Bryune, Grealish, Doku, and Phill Foden. If these players are not playing properly the Manchester squad will have a bad performance in that game. Unfortunately, it is very rare to see that these players are not well prepared for each game. Now that Rodri is gone for some period, who will be next to be injured in the team? I don't know but I think that Pep Guardiola should be very careful this season because if he loses more players because of injury or possible red cards he might be losing games. And there are lots of matches to be played since the league just started that is why each team needs to be very careful now. The Premier League rules have changed and it is affecting the Arsenal team more than other teams in the league. So no one should blame Oliver on how he officates the match against Arsenal vs City. It was a tough one and decisions were made out of some uncertainties. Still, the red card shouldn't be awarded. Not because it's not an offense but considering the two teams that are playing and that the game should be fair and not one sided.

He does not need to do these things but he loves doing this. It does not help his career and only increases hate in fan community against him. Except if you are a fan of Halaand and a loyal fan of Manchester City, it's hard to accept or support these activities. Haaland does not need to do this to show that he is strong and manly. Playing fairly and beating the opponents are things he needs to focus on.

Haaland should be punished for disrespecting a manager in the way he did. Speaking can be accepted but touching manager like he is your mate in such a disrespectful manner should not be welcomed. If it was in previous seasons that there were better aggressive players, Haaland would not have walked out of the pitch without getting some heat from the Manchester city players. Gabriel Jesus that tried to say something was still belittle by Haaland because he is very arrogant and rude but he should watch out because there are some managers that if he does what he did to them, he will not be ignored. Arteta worked with Haaland before so maybe there is some little friendship between them therefore that made Arteta to not take the issue serious and also he is a silent individual that does not like problem.
