Does this make Liverpool more in the race than Arsenal? I have lost confidence in both Arsenal and Liverpool to overtake Manchester city. I was thinking a new team will emerge this time, maybe Aston villa to surprise Manchester City.

They have only a one-point gap to Liverpool and two points to City. They're literally still in the title race this season. They have the same chances as Liverpool or City to enter the title race.

I have not given up on Aston Villa, they can be the Bayern leverkusen of England this season. Even if they don't do upto Leverkusen, they can do something surprising to everyone this season.

About Villa, they seem promising enough this season.  They recorded a very good start to the season, but they often run out of energy at the late season. This must be something to be fixed asap.

What I'm worried about is happening because ACL injuries can't be underestimated, many football players are out for a long time because of ACL injuries and that happened to Rodri, this is a disaster for Manchester City because the club still needs him, especially since the journey is still very long and Pep Guardiola is forced to find other alternatives so that Rodri's absence does not make Man City decline.

it's a bad news for him and the club and even if you're not a lover of man city, it will be totally wrong to be happy that you're going to have an edge against the team by the suffering of one of her key players. Of course, most arsenal fans are secretly happy that man city defense is a bit  porous for the season due to the absence of rodri but even at that, the team doesn't look a bit weak  even though they rested some additional players in Thier yesterday encounter against Watford. Yea, you are very much correct on this, arsenal no doubt is definitely going to be Manchester city greatest challenger this season and Arsenal's performance at the Etihad proves it that it wouldn't be that easy for Manchester city this time around, though many football lovers would still argue that arsenal doesn't have the consistency to wrestle this year English premier league title away from the hands of Manchester city, but I feels that this arsenal team this season have more in their ranks than  last season or season before last, but I think that by December, the picture will be much more clearer on who is actually the real title challenger.
