If you read my post very well, you'll come to a conclusion that I never doubted the superiority of Manchester City against other English Premier League teams but just like we saw a surprising result at Anfield early this month when Nottingham Forest narrowly defeated Liverpool, don't you think Newcastle have all it takes to shock Manchester City at home? Newcastle in my own assessment possess this mentality of believing in themselves in big games even when they weren't given a chance to succeed out of curiosity, I'm asking if you think they can pull a shocker against City?

West Ham have been very poor since the start of this season and I wonder if this is the same West Ham that David Moyes managed that won the Conference League back in 2023, they play like a division 2 team without coordination currently. Last night they couldn't stop Liverpool from scoring, not until the full time it ended 5-1 with a red card, very poor performance, even in the league games they are still poor. I think the manager of the side (The Hammers) doesn't have what it takes to make these guys be up to speed like to be a little bit hard to break, they lose games home and away and that's not how the Hammers used to be. From how they have been performing I think the manager is going to be the first to lose his job if this awful performance continues.

West ham failed to make it to the last 16 of the EFL after losing to liverpool, but the problem is as you said, they played badly last night the score 5-1 is a big number for a premier league club like west ham it's sad they didn't show any resistance, this slump must be stopped immediately julian lopetegui is not suitable to handle this club and should be blamed for his performance.

I thought Liverpool vs West Ham would be the most competitive of yesterday's matches. Because West Ham was a strong enough team. But I did not expect to see such a bad performance of West Ham. West Ham could not put up any resistance against Liverpool in this match.

I don't think that Newcastle will be able to shock us with surprises by winning City in St James park no matter that they are playing at home. City might be lacking a good midfielder due to De Bruyne and Rodri that are injured doesn't mean that Pep will accept defeat like that. The worst that will happen if the match is too difficult for City will be a draw. Don't forget that when City is playing, they always gain ball possesion and dominate the match which is always an added advantage for them.

Did you say easily? I doubt that it will be easy for Manchester City to get all three points that day. My reason is because almost all the teams in the EPL have increased in their performance and Newcastle is not exempted. Aside from that, we have seen Newcastle to be a challenging opponent to Manchester City in the past season. There was a time when they won Manchester City even when they were still in the best performance.

Let's also go down to this current season. We have seen that Manchester City is not having the best performance currently. And there is news spreading of one of their players to be absent throughout the season.

On a normal, Newcastle are the underdogs in this match and everyone expects Manchester City to win very easily cause they're the most dominate in the EPL but then football has taught me that anything is possible, I'm not saying that Newcastle would win the game but I want you to know that there's possibility of them stealing a point from Manchester City and that's just it, although I'm still going to support Manchester City cause they're the current Champions of the EPL and even if am to bet on that game, my bet would definitely be on Manchester City. Well one thing I'm very sure of is that the match is really going to be very entertaining, Newcastle might not be among the best 4 in the league currently but they'll fight back since the match would be held in the St James Stadium and they'll have full backings from their supporters, we'll see if they'll use that to their advantage or the fact that Manchester City would be playing without Rodri who got injured in their previous EPL match against Arsenal.

Newcastle is indeed a strong team especially when they play at home but overall Manchester City's strength is much stronger especially Manchester City who failed to get a win in their last match against Arsenal will have a much higher motivation to win the match later against Newcastle.

Even when they’re not amongst the top teams in the premier league, I feel they’re capable of showing some tough skills in this match that can make it difficult for Manchester City to prevail against them easily. Manchester City is more superior in all sense, but still, we may see some kind of challenge in this match that may give Newcastle a edge over them or finish the match in a draw.

Personally, I think that the only one who can be a rival for Pep is Ancelotti, and in his defence also Mou, because they have shown that they know how Pep can read the coach's movements, which is very recognised, yes, and seeing him with ARTETA, well, it may be difficult but it is not impossible either. For me, Arteta has done well and it may be that he does not try to read Pep's game, but that Pep cannot read Arteta's game, and that would change everything. Manchester City's dominance will still be maintained in this match but looking at the situation now I think Pep needs to find a new playmaker who must have a pattern that is at least slightly similar to KDB or Rodri.

Manchester City's situation in the attack pattern and the scheme carried out will definitely remain the same where they will definitely remain capable of dominance problems. I'm no longer backing Erik Ten Hag, yesterday I asked myself what drills they even do during training sections? I also saw how cool he was while Ruud Van Nistelrooy was busy motivating the lads to press high during the game yesterday. Can try stop starting Marcus Rashford? If football goes as it is predicted or as it ought to be, Newcastle of this season is not the team to stop Manchester city. I was hoping that Arsenal will have to win Manchester City home and away in the English Premier League in order to win the English Premier League title of this season. Now that they have fed to win them in the first leg, arsenal's chances of winning the English Premier League of this season is becoming slimmer.

We all know that the goal scoring machine of Manchester City - Haaland is a small match player, which means he will likely get a hat-trick in any match not involving a big team. No high expectations from Newcastle.
