I saw the line-up that Pep Guardiola fielded at the start of the match before it started and when Ake, Bruyne and Rodri were unavailable due to injury it made me a little doubtful that Manchester City could win the match. It was proven that I saw the midfield was not so good because they lost a midfielder who had high creativity, even though there were other midfielders as replacements but I didn't see them playing better than Bruyne.

I think that Manchester city was just unlucky in the game, because it was a game they would have won convincingly, but the performance of Newcastle united goalkeeper pope was really outstanding, he made more than four quality save that were goal bound, so he is my man of the match in that game for the Newcastle team.

Another reason why I said that Manchester city was just unlucky is that the penalty issued to Newcastle united wasn't a penalty, initially I thought that their was a contact between Gordon and elderson the Manchester city goalkeeper, but their was no clear contact, he just dive unto the floor thinking that elderson will take him down, and to be honest, if they had made use of the var, they would have cancel the penalty awarded to Newcastle united, because it wasn't a penalty in my own opinion.

When Mauricio Pochettino train this team Chelsea actually buy some of the striker to solved their problem but at that time those players performance is very dissapointing and Mauricio Pochettino made an experiment that he was attempts to playing Cole Palmer as the striker and this strategy was successfull to make Chelsea front lines can sharp again because since placed as a striker last season Cole Palmer didn't stopped to scores goals for Chelsea even his last season records is 22 goals and create 11 assists and i think this is fantastic records considering Cole Palmer really position is a midfielder not as a striker

This season Chelsea has bought too some of the players for front lines such as Joao Felix and i thought Cole Palmer will be unable to repeat his last season achievement because in the last 5 matches with Chelsea in all competitions Cole Palmer only can scores 2 goals but yesterday he has been proven to the Chelsea that he still can scores more goals for this team and scoring 4 goals is really hard achievement and only few players who can able to do that including Cole Palmer

I didn’t think we would ever see Chelsea at this level again after Ancelotti. Nobody thought Chelsea would be this good. Previously I said Liverpool would take second place in the standings but it turned out that Manchester City was held to a draw by Newcastle so the top of the standings was occupied by Liverpool.


And more interestingly the current top 5 clubs have shown a decent game including Chelsea which had made me doubt but everything was answered and for now the race for the top of the table will be even more interesting. Liverpool, Manchester city, Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa who can still be said to be consistent enough to extend their best performances like last season.

A very satisfying weekend 

Amazing results so far from Slot and his team. Once Klopp left Liverpool to have a rest, I was not expecting to see if the next coach could have a good performance but now we can see Slot is having an even better performance than Klopp in Liverpool which is amazing and this can make the Premier League even more interesting to watch. So far in 6 games, Liverpool got 18 points.
They won the game against Wolverhampton with a 2-21 result and now Liverpool is in first place while Manchester City and Arsenal are both very close to this team.
I guess this time in this season we can see more interesting competition in the Premier League because of the Slot in Liverpool.

We can not argue it, Manchester city is going to suffer this season and it is already manifesting. No team will succeed when they are hit with injury no matter how strong they are if they don't have alternatives back up. City failed to add up to their squad during the summer and it is affecting them now. Dani Olmo would have been a better replacement for Kelvin De bruyne for the mean time but they relent and allow him to joined Barcelona.

 There is Rodri who also doesn't have a proper replacement at the moment. Pep may choose to overlook some of this things but trust me, they're costly mistakes hunting them now. Starting the league poorly and finishing on top is not a strategy and can not work often. Pep should up his game with new tactics because EPL teams are now familiar with his game and studied it already.
