This is not the first time Liverpool has been stepping into first position in the premier league table, but they don't use to stay long before they will start losing for Manchester city to return back to top the table till the end of the tournament which it will definitely going to happen again in this new season.

The Tottenham team is also not in very good form. But I will say that Tottenham's overall performance is better than Manchester United's performance. At least the players in Tottenham's forward lineup are performing better than United's. So I will consider Tottenham as favorite in this match.

Tottenham and Man United both had bad starts. In fact, I think Man United must find a new coach. Changing the coach is actually not a bad thing either, just look at Chelsea at the moment. It seems that they are starting to get a good game pattern. I saw Chelsea and I was quite impressed with their progress.  Currently, their game is much better than ETH even though they have a new coach not long ago. I really think that only Manchester City fans feel badly with this draw and others are either very neutral or happy with this result. Because it helps to make Premier League more exciting and more competitive for other clubs.

I didn’t think we would ever see Chelsea at this level again after Ancelotti. Nobody thought Chelsea would be this good. I assumed they would struggle just like Manchester United are currently doing, but it seems Chelsea has moved on to a different level with Enzo Maresca. I think Brighton were lucky to have lost by only four goals, the other two goals missed by Palmer could have made it six goals. Fabian Hürzeler said this about Palmer after the game:

"There aren't many players like Cole Palmer in the Premier League. He's special. He punished every single mistake we made. You can't stop him."

Chelsea has never been on this level in a long while like I said on one of my post that I don't trust Chelsea after the win against Barrow. I only hope they continue with this winning numbers and scoring of goals because it will make the other opponent be scared of coming out to challenge them and Manchester City would be mindful of the Blues too not only Arsenal. The manager to me is not even the one to applaud for this awesome performance because he has never spoken anything positive like the target of Chelsea winning trophies or competing for trophies. Let the players continue the way they are playing.
Cole Palmer will always be the key player for Chelsea and the manager shouldn't choke him with the work load, he needs help because the day Palmer won't be on the pitch due to injury or something, I don't see Chelsea playing the way they did yesterday and he (Enzo) should try and be bringing Nkunku always to start to regain his form because ones he's back like then at Leipzig I don't see any team stopping the Blues, that's where Enzo Maresca need to work on to support the team, bringing in serious players and dropping selfish players like Madueke.

Leicester City are really pushing muscles since the beginning of the season, from round 1 to this current round 6 Leicester City has been scoring goals to their opponent team, they must be really fighting so hard not to go back to relegation.

Manchester City failed to win two consecutive matches, which means they are in trouble now and it is inseparable from several of their main players who are injured, making the team's performance quite disrupted.
It is very unfortunate that when Manchester City was already ahead by 1 goal, in the second half Newcastle was able to reply to the goal and overall the performance of both teams in this match was quite balanced so that the final result of the match was a draw.

Leicester City has not found its first victory so far and it must be admitted that the competition in the Premier League is quite fierce and Leicester City is having a hard time with that.
This week Leicester City has done their best but their opponent is too tough, Arsenal, Leicester City had to concede in the final minutes of the match, it was quite painful for Leicester City.

I won't even say that Manchester city are in trouble because they draw their match against Newcastle united. Liverpool are currently topping the league table right now, but few weeks ago they lost against Nottingham forest and today they are topping the league. So Manchester city getting a draw is not that bad. No team in the current premier League era can win the league without drawing or losing a few games. All teams in the premier League will definitely drop points at one point or the order. At least Manchester city is still in the top 4 and Pep Guardiola know how to navigate his team. This is the best time for the league rivals to accumulate as many points as possible, because when Manchester city will start winning matches, it will be difficult for any team to stop them.

It was cold outside today lol. Cole Palmer made history today as the first player in the Premier League to score four goals in the first half of a game. His free kick was beautiful, I watched the replay like four times already. Cole Palmer is on a different level. No wonder he’s being compared to Lamine Yamal. Kudos to Cole Palmer he was superb in every aspect of the game.

Chelsea had a great game today, nobody really so that coming. We all know Brighton had a great record this season, they haven't lost any game. Both Brighton and Chelsea were really poor defensively, but the Chelsea Attack was on fire. Big ups to Maresca and his boys.

Cole Palmer just can't stop improving in every game he plays for his darling club Chelsea. His record breaking performance today in Chelsea's victory against Brighton is a strong indication that the England international's impressive records for Chelsea last season didn't happen by luck but because he's got the qualities of a world class footballer.
Saying Cole Palmer is being compared to Lamine Yamal I think is a disrespect to Palmer who has already shown his potentials before Yamal came to limelight. If Cole Palmer can continue with this kind of performance he displayed today, Chelsea might be winning the English Premier League title this season

Cole Palmer really had one of the best games of his career and made history as the first player to score 4 goals in 20 minutes, but I think it's too early to say that Chelsea can win the EPL this year, because Arsenal and Manchester City are also showing a great game.
Also Manchester City always start the season weak, but in the second part of the season they add a lot to the quality of their game and almost never lose, so it will be very difficult for Chelsea to fight with such teams at the end of the season, besides Chelsea's game is very much dependent on Palmer and without him Chelsea looks like a completely different team.
I don't remember Chelsea's game depending so much on one player, well maybe when Azar was at the dawn of his powers and could single-handedly bring victories to the team, since then there hasn't been such a clear star in Chelsea's lineup.
I agree only with the fact that Palmer is a much stronger player than Yamal, his statistics of goals and assists are many times better than Yamal's and if Southgate was not afraid to release him more often, I think things could have worked out much better for the England national team.

Man City is a bit behind after drawing two matches in a row. They drew 2-2 against Arsenal, although the team Man city avoided defeat at the last minute. If john stones failed to score in the last minute, City would have lost. On the other hand, despite scoring an early goal against Newcastle, they were unable to win in the end. Anthony Gordon equalized 1-1 in the 58th minute. But Liverpool team resolute in their intentions. Their win against Wolverhampton has now moved them behind points table leaders Manchester City. All the top 4 teams are competing well at the moment. Liverpool will try to maintain this consistency. Even though Manchester City have drawn two matches they have not yet lost any match in this season so they will try to go back to the first position.

Injuries to several key Manchester City players have greatly affected Manchester City's performance and that has been proven when they drew two consecutive matches, this clearly shows a decline in the quality of the Manchester City team because they also do not have adequate cover to be able to cover the gap left by injured players so that the rotation carried out by Pep Guardiola did not run smoothly.

Meanwhile, Liverpool continues to show positive performance and victory over Wolverhampton is a natural thing because Liverpool is indeed much stronger in terms of quality.

Just spending a huge amount of money can't solve anything in Chelsea and they need a more stable situation in this team.
For example, I think Pochettino had a good performance when he was working there and he made this team younger by hiring some young talents and selling old expensive players. But they got him fired and they started working with Maresca which was the wrong move.

Liverpool finally succeeded in taking advantage of the opportunity to seize the main position from Manchester City. Newcastle forced Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park, but this is not the end of it.

Nobody said that was their end, neither is anyone doubting Guardiola's strategy, but the final result remains an uncertainty regardless of how they who's playing against who. I always knew this wasn't a straight win for City; I even made a sorta prediction in Holly's thread about it the previous day.

A low points gap like now is difficult for the top of the standings to maintain, of course because of pressure and so on. However, if Liverpool is consistent with their performance, then they can lead the standings for the next few weeks.

Liverpool's consistency should have been proven long ago with the fact that they haven't conceived too many goals since the season began. Have you taken a good look at the table? I'm not gonna be surprised that they're bagging this trophy this time around with the level of fine form they have.

Enzo Maresca has reshaped the mentality of Chelsea, they are scoring more goals and trying to win the game as early as possible in the first half like we saw against Brighton. Chelsea have a strong attacking record, they only need to strengthen their defense because to be a title contender, you have to concede less goals. Arsenal had 36 shots throughout the match, 16 of which were on target. He scored four of them. Leicester City didn't have much of the ball. Justin scored 2 goals but they couldn't do much in the game so they had no chance to win. It was strange that Arsenal conceded 2 goals when they didn't give that many chances.

As the hosts, Newcastle are certainly very aware that the opponents they face are very tough and very strong opponents this season so a draw for Newcastle is something very good as hosts in that match. In fact, I think Manchester City really lost because they had to share points with Newcastle in that match so that has put them in second place in the standings at this time even though Manchester City are only one point behind Liverpool at this time. But still, a draw is something that Manchester City really did not want at the weekend.

I knew that Manchester City will feel so disappointed by their draw with Newcastle but it seems Arsenal also faced similar fate and this might be some form of consolation for Manchester City.  The greatest beneficiary of those draws is Liverpool that used that opportunity to climb to the top of the league. But I don't think that Liverpool will be able to maintain that lead for a long time because the team is not that formidable. The coming weeks will actually show how the league will go.

36 shots are a lot if Leicester's goalkeeper doesn't perform well of course a rain of goals will occur, Arsenal really went crazy they dominated every corner of the field, even though there was a mistake at the beginning of the second half Leicester was able to equalize but in the end in the last minute 2 goals were scored by Arteta's troops This victory puts Arsenal in 3rd place in the standings with the same number of points as Man City in second place and only one point behind the leader of the standings, Liverpool, approaching the middle of this season the competition is getting tighter. Every competitor is required to always be consistent in every match if they don't want to be shifted from the standings, this is what I expect to see the Premier League getting hotter.
