Scrypt, Scrypt-N, and SHA-256 Mining Contracts

Follow us on twitter @AltCCMining to make sure you would be the first one to hear about our specials and discounts

We are a new startup looking to lease out mining rigs. We aim to offer you the best prices at the lowest rate. Right now we are offering a special:

Scrypt       24 Hours   1.3 Mhs   0.015 BTC
Scrypt-N    24 Hours   1.3 Mhs   0.024 BTC
SHA-256    24 Hours   200 Ghs   0.02 BTC

SHA-256    1 Week    200 Ghs    0.13 BTC

Simply make an account at Altcc.com then specify the time and amount of power you would like to lease along your mining pool of choice. We are not responsible for any down time of your mining pool. The whole website is still in development and we are open to any suggestions. Mining contracts will be launched within 24 hours (usually within an hour) and you will be able to see your hashrate in your pool stats. Note that the pool might not display 100% accurate mining statistics.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. We are also thinking about adding the X11 algorithm, so give us your feedback regarding that.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

We made another release and some more updates to the website. The updates are:

*A timer to show you how long you have left of the contract.
*Contact us form, FAQ, and ToS
*Helpers in the contract form for users to understand what to put in each field

All the users have been wiped in the database so if you signed up do not hesitate to sign up again, this will not happen again. We are currently only offering Scrypt-N cloud contracts in increments of 1.1 Mhs. The promo is 0.02 BTC for 1.1 Mhs.

In the next release we will be implementing the option to choose Scrypt, Sha-256 or Scrypt-N for the contracts and we will have the prices adjusted accordingly. Also we will show current active orders on the homepage so when you order you can not only see it on your dashboard but also on the homepage.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. If you have ordered with us, please dont hesitate to post feedback here.

It depends on what you mine. Also you could point the rigs to pools that mine coins that are not on an exchange yet.

Prices are still the cheapest ones out there. We are working on adding a profit calculator along with redesigning our website. Follow us on twitter @AltCCMining to be the first one to hear about any promotions that we might have.

Mini Review

Signed up yesterday around 4:30pm.  Signup was a breeze, filling out the contract was also easy.  After coins were went It took about 4 hours or so for hashing to begin (keep in mind it does day that on the FAQ that hashing doesn't begin immediately).  Around 8pm I got an email notification saying that hashing has begun.  I have ordered the 1.3mh and I have got to say everything has been great so far.  No disconnects and hashrate fluxes from 1.2-1.6 which is great (only seen it dip to 1.2 a few times, its more around 1.4) these are reports from the pool ofc.

Overall great service.

I do love the fact that an email notification gets sent once hashing does begin

The current price for a 1.3 MHs contract is .008. Punching that into CoinWarz and factoring in fees, l'm not really seeing how this is a profitable option.

Scrypt mining is not profitable right now. .008 MHs price is low, just select 2 winners from 300+ shitcoins.

if you rent out a 1.3Mhs Scrypt contract for 0.008BTC right now accoridng to coinwarz you can mine 0.012BTC if you mine GPUCoin. You simply have to find the most profitable coin to mine within that 24 hour period and you will make a profit. We are just a service for that.

You're glossing over a whole lot of issues that will definitely NOT get you .012 BTC.

First, let's start with multipools. They all use variations on an algorithm to mine the most profitable coin. When that BigAssMiningPool(tm) suddenly starts slamming the coin you'r mining, the difficulty jumps significantly. Suddenly, that .012BTC coins has become a .005BTC coin. To avoid that, you'd want to mine coins that aren't in these pools. But therein lies other problems.

Aside from pool induced variability, there is also exchange variability and liquidity. Most of these coins make penny stocks look stable by comparison. Coins with low volumes can have massive swings in price. Low volume coins also mean you can put a sell order out there and have it sit for days (or longer) without filling. Due to the this variability, just because a coin is profitable to mine now doesn't mean it will be five minutes from now, and with all the anti-pool hopping logic out there you can't make anything switching between coins at that pace.

So that leaves you with the multipools or mining single major coins to try and earn a consistent profit. In both circumstances you won't even come close to earning back what you paid for the rig, and even if you could it's still more profitable to just buy the coins directly.

The rig prices would have to be much lower for a renter to make a profit. Either that or they have to e incredibly lucky. Even a basic statistical analysis based on profitability on CoinWarz shows that any renter at those prices is guaranteed to lose money.

I'm paid for 0.0073btc 4/4(JapanTime).
But do not start mining.
Help me!

You payed 0.0073 which is the price for Scrypt mining but gave us a vertcoin pool. It clearly says to double check your details. You gave us the wrong pool and expect us to mine Scrypt on a Scrypt-N pool.

So I just wanted to say that so far this has been a great service. It started a little rocky, but one of the admins messaged me as soon as they knew they had issues and I actually got double what I paid for in the end as complementary service. Can't argue with that, top notch.
