Every crypto lover wanted to spend their bitcoin in their daily life routine but it can be possible on very few locations and even not for every purchase so for now we should support the bitcoin until there is a mass adoption or else bitcoin may never reach its goal to spend everywhere.

Is there any bitcoin ATMs working inside a big supermarket in the world? If yes then it could be the temporary solution for this.

If that happens, well that's good especially nowadays that everyones facing challenges on Pandemic... every transactions should be online or electronically..however, if that well be implemented then be ready for transaction charges ans hoping they develop the turn around times or waiting time for successful transactions like in credit cards that once used it will automatically be deducted to the balance and dont have to wait a little longer.

I can't wait either. It will be nice when crypto is fully supported. It will also decrease the number of scams I feel since real-world use will be prevalent by that time. However, the currencies might not be as volatile by then and making a quick profit incesting might not work as well but still hopefully by then we have all saved up plenty of the most spendable crypto.

BTCBTCYou can do it now anyway! Just go to Polispay and order their prepaid debit card and spend it to any store where POS machine is available. So you will be spending from your bitcoin in this case. I don't know what point you are trying to make while it is already very much possible! I understand you a bitcoin enthusiast but that doesn't give you the right to call fiat money useless or shit! The world economy is dependent on fiat currencies and bitcoin is just a new entrant to the world of economy, just 11 years old! Give it time and it will surely find its way into the economy for good.

But what you want now is already available! Hope this helps!

Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

I do understand your stance here but I do believe it's going to take quite a while before bitcoin becomes accepted in stores and supermarkets just like fiats.
Bitcoin is just little over a decade unlike fiat currencies that have been here for so long, it'll definitely take a while before it is adopted.
I actually do hope, however, that everyone can help reach out to others concerning the advantages of bitcoin.
Until bitcoin is massively adopted, I do not think bitcoin can be spent in stores and supermarkets.

This will happen very soon because new people and business owners are now adopting cryptocurrency very faster than before. We can purchase many things on amazon, ebay, alibaba and etc by bitcoin/altcoins using third party sites like bitreffil. But I believe in the future we will pay directly without third parties.

When we do look back on bitcoins true usage in the first place which is really on that peer to peer transactions without 3rd party intervention then it would really be good to see for it to be adopted into
our casual transactions on everyday living.

I do feel the same way that kind of hope and expectation for this thing to be considered or included on daily basis but we know that government is always on the top of the chain where
decisions will always pass through them.

Decentralized aspect of Bitcoin will always oppose on what government is been doing. So it isnt a surprise that there would really be some blockage when it comes to adoption.

Since money is badly needed in these days, cash is used as always even with the spreading covid virus. We will be safe if we will be considering to use digital payments and crypto currencies as well. But the thing is that we can't because the adoption of cryptos are still so low. Hope it will be considered in the future.

Yes, me too. It would be great to use Bitcoin in all Supermarkets  anywhere so there will be no more hand to hand contacts with the cashier. Especially this time where we need to be very careful in all aspects, because covid-19 is still around us. How i wish this will happen soon. who knows? Its really possible, let's just wait and see.

One can use the cashless system of the banks? It is somehow effective but it could still be good to use bitcoin as another option for means of payment. We should have a choice in doing transaction, paying bitcoin or using the cashless system of the banks is really good and for me there should be no absolutism way of doing things. A working system should be mix to have a decentralized aspect and centralized combine. If we say we will take bitcoin because decentralizationis way better and less fees but we see making bitcoin too much in volatility then maybe we will still complain about it and maybe we will then suggest to go back to basic which is getting the service of the banks. So, all will be good to have a choice and it should not be like an absolute system to prevail either centralized or decentralized system.

Let's just wait until it happens. Or Why not you're the one who first initiates a move in your area? Like introducing to your friends, neighbors, and businesses. Then if bitcoin is already an option payment recognize by many people, it might be an option to some supermarkets to accept it as well.
yep this is best advice, I'm sure @OP will get a good response if he open a supermarket business that accepts Bitcoin payment systems.

until now there are still no supermarkets that accept Bitcoin but this will definitely be big news when it is reported to many media because this is a good marketing trick too by taking advantage of the popularity of Bitcoin.

There is no point in insisting that supermarkets should accept direct payments in Bitcoin. I am converting my Bitcoins to Amazon gift cards using some of the websites and in turn using these gift cards to make payments at the supermarkets (some of the supermarkets here in India accept Amazon Pay for payments). Else you can convert Bitcoin to Big Bazaar or More gift cards.
Amazon gift cards is a better and convenient means of payment in supermarkets for now, transaction via Bitcoin is more expensive and considering the number of confirmation before the supermarket acknowledged the receipt of the bitcoin is time consuming maybe when the Lightning Network is perfected then swift means of payment using Bitcoin might work.
Government regulations of bitcoin is another bottleneck that might hinder the acceptance of bitcoin in supermarkets, some government insisted on monitoring peer to peer transactions of businesses for taxation etc

In my own idea, bitcoin wasn't made for such little transactions like buying stuff from supermarket or buying some soda etc... because this will take some a few time for any confirmation and as far as I know people can  get can get back the bitcoins they paid in any unconfirmed transactions. I'm not into technical stuff but maybe some sort of new hard fork can solve this problem.

The lightning network would be the key I think we needed to push bitcoin into payment such as this in supermarkets. Transaction time is really a pain in bitcoin it can come fast and sometimes it takes days even weeks to get confirmed. But even with the lightning network widely used I think government will still not allow that to happen not until they have control on their hands over bitcoin.

We have the same idea OP, but the problem I can see here is how ready the government to adopt and transition the entire country's fund to crypto. If that is so, regulation will be hard as how the taxation will work for the country's projects and infrastructures.

In addition, it will be hard to buy goods as its price could be displayed in different cryptocurrencies in such as case that you need to calculate the equivalent amount of how much the product is, into your desired and well known crypto.

The use of bitcoin for payments in supermarkets is still at risk due to the problem of bitcoin which has high price fluctuations.
Supermarkets are large retail companies that have had to think about using the available payments. The adoption of Bitcoin is a plan that must really be considered because it will concern the profit that will be obtained.

A simple adoption that can be done is to implement Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency payments in our own stores. We can build it from scratch so that we know about the process that will occur when using a bitcoin payment.

Everything also depends on the regulations in force in the country regarding the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.

There are small businesses around the world (but only few) that are accepting payments using different cryptocurrencies, most commonly bitcoin.
Honestly, I am also excited to use bitcoin for payments on daily transactions that we are doing. Just wondering if they will be accepting payments for bitcoin that is equivalent to the price of dollar, or just a fixed amount of bitcoin on selling/offering their products/services.
What do you think?  Undecided

May be some day we will get such an opportunity, but in my opinion it will not happen very soon))) at least it will not be so mass action)) like in lots of large shops or something like that. It depends on the local owner of the business wheather he would be ready to accept such means for payments, and even nowadays there are some people who practices such variant for payments. But in order BTC would become accepted by all the business and services it would be too many nuances worked out, adopted and implemented.

And with this kind of situation, I don't know how the sales person in supermarket can be patient till such a long time. Lately that we have seen fees for transaction go high, I'm sure some people might want to delay payment till a less volatile time but this is not going to be fine with the supermarket attendant. I see bitcoin as alternative for payment for the time we are.

I am looking forward to see that digital currencies will take fiat money's place in the future or to be a solid alternative for fiat money. I would prefer spending some Bitcoin on supermarkets etc. and also saving Bitcoin. Also, Bitcoin payment option can be found in various places now but it is not much prevalent all around the world.
