If you are a beginner I recommend buying ETH as reasonable. Because ETH is second only to Bitcoin. on the other hand, ETH is rebounding but not yet highly potential. You can make an account and invest in a Binance exchange I find this transaction page very good and relatively safe.

As a start, make sure you have a good knowledge of trading before venturing into it, so that you don't make costly mistakes.
Starting with the first question; there are many good exchanges to trade with like Kucoin, Gate, Huobi and Binance, but talking about the best, then Binance is the best to trade with. This is because, Binance exchange have good trading volume and very large number of coins and tokens to trade with.
Secondly, there are as well many altcoins to trade with such as ETH, XLM, ADA, BNB and so forth, but talking about the best altcoin to trade with will be a kind of tough question, because currently with the nature of the market many top altcoins are good to trade with. But however, considering your trading amount, you can chose from top 5 or extend it to top 10 altcoins in coinmarketcap. The market is good and hence you will most likely make good gains, but nevertheless I won't fail to implore you to trade with an amount you can afford and don't be greedy.

Second only by market cap and trading volume. This positions does not mean anything. With enough resources and demand any altcoin can get a second place. Just look on Polkadot. No one knew about it this spring, and thanks to a boom it is now among top10. So the place of altcoin in top is not something to pay a lot of attention on. But, Ethereum can be a safe long term investment. No doubt of that.

I prefer Altcoins that can be staked or give you some sort of passive income. Since I cannot afford the 32 ETH to become part of the ETH 2.0 staking, I find DOT, AVAX very interesting as alternatives. DUSK and AERGO are also very interesting.

Personally I mostly prefer to invest into credible decentralized exchanges (defi). I think nice projects - polkadot, uniswap. And now I'm researching new stablecoin exchange - xsigma. Looks simple and nice financial model

good coin to invest right is a coin that has a large exchange, large volume, high enthusiasts and good development of course coin it is in the 5th rank of Coinmarcetcap i still choose ethereum although the price movement is fairly slow now but I am sure that in the future the price will be able to rise high
and of course give a lot of profit

the easy and guaranteed choice is to choose the top 5 coinmarketcap. This will obviously provide maximum profit and avoid risk, but I think someone needs a new adventure for this. If my advice is to choose a definite coin like ethereum and choose another potential token.

Its definitely one we to choose is the top 5 in the list in coinmarketcap and even me if I want to invest Ill invest one of them but there some coins that we could not encountered yet that have potential to list in a popular exchange sites.

I choose etherium also just like yours the price are in high now and maybe it will be continue until the end of this year. And I will add some promising coins that could be to earn more.

After the Kucoin exchange had been hacked, binance became the only exchange I could trust. Nevertheless, I don’t recommend you to keep all your coins in binance. For me, the most suitable coin to invest in is ripple (xrp).

It depends on the goal, mate. If your goal is for investing, yes USDT isn't the proper coin for you. But if you want to secure your crypto assets in a coin with a stable price, then choosing USDT is the right decision. So, basically, USDT isn't a bad coin, it depends on how you manage it. Just know your goal or target first before you buy a coin.

Personally i like dividend paying tokens like BET that give you profits, i recently sold all of my miners to buy these types of coins.. im now mining more daily and have no electricity costs and my place isn't like a boiler room anymore lol..

Nowadays, nobody I am showing interest in the mining, most of the people investing in POS model-based coin which they will get some returns on their holding. In the current trend, mining is completely waste which it is not working with the returns we are getting.

Right now I would suggest to look for Tron TRX because it is the only alt in the top list that is yet to make the big move up while most of other alts have already moved up quite a lot so I see good opportunity in trx now.

If etherium that you known this time maybe you should add some altcoins that could earn as much, Or maybe try figure out of what kind of altcoins are best to invest though. For me ther are only few of them right now but I predicted thus have a chance to grow the price in a future or in a year 2021. And the XRP Ill think is one of the top in the list that would need to invest and hold.

I think Bitcoin is the best investment for beginners. If you want to own other altcoins, you should not take risks.
You can choose Ethereum, Ripple or NEO. I can recommend Bittrex, Binance or Kucoin for this.
