We can categorize investment into short term, medium term and long term investment.  It is undestandbale that most who wants a short term investment that yield high profit will go to ventures that have more risk thus getting involved into pump and dump projects and those that are mostly hyped.  While medium term investment often goes for good projects that has new innovations to offer.  It is not bad to go for projects that are subject to pump and dump but we must make sure that we do our diligent research and be able to time the market right.  But if you ask me, I agree with OP that we should go for the projects may it be a longterm one but have capable developers and good enough project and plans to offer that can bring more profit in the future.

My advice will be don't invest on such projects until they establish themselves into the cryto market and prove their long lasting existence.Not much people are going to take any of those advices either from you and me, they just go with the trend and people are always acted like a sheep but only after losing huge amount they will realize they shouldn't have to invested such amount blindly just for the sake of name.

Quite right, as always you need to study every cryptocurrency project in which you want to invest and for DeFi projects this also applies, because many cryptocurrency companies simply use DeFi hype for their own purposes.

I agree with you, that some people are too passionate to see a project that is actually a fraud and even tend to be lazy to look in more detail, indeed nowadays we are busy talking about the DeFi project, but the lack of information makes many people not aware of this, that's why a lot being a victim of losing a lot of money, I think IEO is the most appropriate solution for investing compared to ICO / DeFi ..

This is just my speculation, depending on how you see that side of the project !!

I'm not investing into new projects already.
There are so many coins that are there for a long time already. Why bother to invest into these coins.

Investing for quick gains?? You should just do normal trading then or margin trading at least since you can earn profit there quicker than just investing and holding.
The DeFi hype is real already and I will say it again, what happened in ICO 2 years ago where there was a lot of hype but slowly declining because of the scams that happened will also happen into this. I'm 100% sure of that.

Before investing in any DeFi project, you should need to research the project, and most of the projects are coming on DeFi features in different blockchains based on Ethereum, Tron, and some others. The new projects adding features for DeFi so that they can be sold their tokens or coins, so I suggest DIA Token for investment that is looking good. Still, when it was launched, you should invest in DIA that time price was $1 and now more than $3, so keep eyes on the best project for the future to be invest.

Maximum DeFi projects are hype but DIA is different. It is a good project and token for long term investment is good for profits. Now DeFi trends ongoin and many investors are running behind any DeFi project without proper investigation that is very bad for the markets. The bolded one is the most common mistake for newcomers. They often neglect to see the capability of the project but overly acted on the price and invest, and then lose after. I used to scout Defi projects this time and most of them surging high, but the problem is not all of them it looks promising and it gives me a hard time deciding which one.

Hypes are very entertaining but the risk also is high. I deserve to be bash because of not believing them and I can't push myself to do it because deep inside, worries still come out and doubtful. To the fact that I was not looking for easy money, I'd rather have to keep Bitcoin rather than considering Defi projects. I can wait for the right moment to come.

It's wise to be watchful in this space, they've 'been several fast growing projects that have caught the interest of the market and it seems everyone is talking about them, but it's best to watch closely before joining, so you don't get burnt. The best way to go about investing is to consider the use case of the project before deciding, because the use case has a valid influence on the value of the tokens.

Curve should be removed from your list as curve offers nothing, I'm not even sure if people are wanna using it as their long term investment.

The utility was a very important thing but the tokenomics mechanism that has already used by team matters a lot too.

Rather than curve and i personally think that stafi is much better.

make a deep research and analize before decide in which project we will join. dont ever feel we will miss the train will hype occur in one project. most of investors now interested with Defi and they put big hope to get profit from this ,but unfortunately sometime they forget to analize it.

Its only takes a few months then it will result to low value of the tokens. Better to see the big picture and invest to high profile project. I know DIA and i think its a good project, unluckily i'm not be able to joined it their campaign and support them.

Many scandalous projects are currently using DEFI, many were not in DEFI in the beginning. By doing this they will cut back on the good value of their currencies and in the end investors will lose their money. If you want to invest in a project it should really be seen and studied, not just invest for quick profit. Then you too will lose capital by being deceived by these scandalous projects.

Hype tokens have always been an interest in investing in trendy times, especially when defi has been widely known so people will know what term investments they are implementing always take advantage of opportunities where trends are happening, I always see DeFi projects that continue to develop rapidly because they have a lot of support from investors and get a lot of attention therefore futures investment depends on each one.
