Yearn.Finance (YFI) hits $28k

I am still wondering what is pumping this coin, I understand a lot are been locked thereby reducing the supply. The volatility of this coin is too crazy and traders are making crazy money from it. How long this is going to continue, I can't say. Let's play safe, another year like 2017 is upon us again.

As far as i know if so many whales and big names have joined into this project and they are also using the product that has already made by yearn.finance and i have heard the the yield farm has already become the main thing that attracted all of them to join in this project. That's those whales are pumping this coin to the moon.

Ofcourse this project will only be for big whales, look at the current price, how many people can afford to buy many number of this token,  only whales can hold good amount of yfi by now, am just surprise how price have increase so high more than btc, very surprising.

agree totally, should be more than careful, it is not just price, there is volume as well, and YFI is rising very fast, which is not followed by proper development and use case, i am actually not sure what is happening outside of DeFi hype on this token?

is there anyone here that actually bought the token and earned from it? would be nice to hear some insights

The Hype with this coin is real and out of this world although I'm not surprised that this may happen because of the very low supply of it.
Low supply of it = it is easier to pump and dump compare to Bitcoin and some high supply coins.

Well, for those who risked some of their money and bought last week or 2 weeks ago then you have a huge profit right now. For me, I didn't join the show because I already expect that this coin will go down anytime soon. Trust me, this will coin will go down way worse than you can imagine. With this very low supply of it, it is easier for the coin to pump and at the same time dump. Just beware in investing to this coin.

The rate at which these coins are booming is just so crazy. Today you can see 20k and boom few days you just see like 30k lol. It's getting more interesting 😉

I think the price of $ 32k is still very cheap because we can see that the total supply of this coin is very limited and can beat the supply of bitcoin which means that the price of YFI can reach more than $ 100k one day, all we need is to buy a few because it is getting more expensive it's getting harder and harder to get YFI.

Damn! I don't think yearn finance is a safe haven for investors who don't have enough money to gamble with, no risk no reward they say but this token value is way too high, if price dumps it will be a huge loss of money, I would rather invest in BTC instead.

I think many people will think like you. in the long run, I don't think it will be good and more of an idiot. but for him who already owns it from scratch, I think it is better to immediately take advantage and get out of the market. taking short profits is better than keeping it or buying it now.

I think it would be better for the team to do token split for the tokens, the spread on exchange is too wide and I believe people that missed out will start picking up alternatives, since people believe in whole number, some people do not even believe you can buy 0.1BTC,split and let new entrance into the game

There's a lot of investment flowing to this project as it rise multiple times, looking at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/yearn-finance/, the price rise 42 times from the price I saw when it was listed in CMC.

$799 only last July 21, 2020, and now it's already trading at $33,810.12, and there's no sign that the price would go down, but if I have invested on this, I would not wait until it will fall down as correction is expected and we might see a hard fall for this project.

That is bound to happen.  Anything that skyrocketed too fast will eventually crash hard once the market is unable to sustain the  sell off.

That's everyone should be looking, instead of getting into FOMO, they should also look at the risk that it might start its correction the soonest and some might become a bag holder if the coin will not recover anymore. If bitcoin had its correction which is the most popular cryptocurrency in the space, how much more a new one that was not tested through time yet?

And no i dont belive that they are smarter than others, most of the project try to get their attention by emitting very high amount of token, so that even small price will get them in huge marketcap region. if i were you, i won't buy it. the price doesn't really make sense and it has a little supply. this coins can be owned by only a few people since its price is just $800 last month. it can dump badly in no time. don't fall for it.

Check again the current price, it is decreasing again to $32,4xx. I don't think it is a good idea if you want to buy YFI with the possibly more drop currently. Indeed, the price also can soar again suddenly, but how if it is getting drop day after day. I think with too significant increases in YFI price in the last few days, it should have a correction time. If you want to bet on the next pump, don't put all your funds there. Better to avoid the big risk of losing all your funds because you follow the Hype.

You shoud think for a twice before you will try to send your money to the whales. The whales have already started cashing out their money from the market. In my opinion this coin will get a small bump to the 30k and then another dump will occur
