[PC World] Federal Authorities in Costa Roca Confiscate Servers of Popular Bitcoin Exchange Site MtGox

Breaking News:  Very early Friday morning, approximately 4:30am Central Time, authorities from the "Department of Commerce and Taxation" in Costa Rica stormed into the data center housing servers which run the popular exchange site for the alternative digital currency Bitcoin. Costa Rican authorities seized five computers in total. Two are believed to be servers which run the exchange site. The site was off-line for about three hours. Insiders speculate that a mirror site containing a backup of the main site was hastily brought online from a different unknown location and  […]  http://bit.ly/eCTFki

Please revise and/or re-write your information to be correct. Your link is incorrect, there is no Costa Roca, maybe you meant Costa Rica, but then the supposed agency of Department of Commerce and Taxation wouldn't operate in a foreign country.  There is a Department of Commerce, but Taxation is the IRS. The IRS has its own enforcement officers within the country.

Where did you get your information?

Jesus, Bruce!  That was mean!

I saw that title and thought "Yeah right, april fool me" then read your post and though "aw, crap!"

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

Seriously. At some point people forgot that the jokes are supposed to be funny and not obvious.
