There is no problem if you want to sell at any time and the most important thing is to sell under favorable conditions from the price you previously had, not because you panicked and sold at an unprofitable position and that is very wrong.
and I think the market will recover and rise gradually in the next few months, and I think holding it is the right choice for now.
It looks like the OP is giving advice in a panic situation and won't affect those who have been here for a long time.

Actually we want to see Green market every time but it is not possible for crypto currency. It can up or down any time for any condition. We have to wait for proper time. Only sell is not right decision all the time. Sometimes, we should wait for right time.

It is not that week hands had not made their exit already what happens is that they are replaced very quickly by other weak hands, most people that you see selling their coins in panic most likely have just recently entered the market of cryptocurrencies, they came with the idea of making a lot of money really quick only to find out that whales and other expert traders are making quick money at their expense.

Most likely the weak hands that came to the market in 2017 left between the years of 2018 and 2019 as they lost hope the market will recover and they are probably really mad that they are not part of this market right now.

Bitcoin going down is not a marvelous prediction, it can do only two things which is up or down and to say that it will go down means you will 50% be right at every time.

I can say that bitcoin will go up and I have 50% chance I will be right as well, this doesn't mean I am smart or I know things people can't see or anything, I just made it up and I could be still right. After bitcoin margin trading has become generally available, we can worry after every big move (up or down) because if we had foreseen it, we could make good money. But to think in this way is just to spoil your nerves. I think every person needs to understand what he specifically wants from bitcoin and act on this basis. I think this approach will save you from a lot of momentary annoying thoughts.

Majority of those people who'ed jumped in the market in 2017 or in that bull run will really have that kind of aim on getting rich or easy bucks and returning back to the market after being getting wrecked would depend to someone if he would realized or would completely turn its back against the market since they had been blown out.Panic selling is inevitable but there are really some selling situations where it did really save up your ass.
For people who do panic sell but eventually able to sell earlier and prevent the further loss since the market had dumped then i can say that it is a good call and it isnt really something that you can make decisions
from time to time but most of situations panic sell is always residing on the negative side.

Each of us do have its own criteria on when to buy and on when to sell and you're right that no one on this world would really know on where price do head up.If someone do then they would really be
billionaires as of now.

We can make our own analysis if we do think that the price cant go lower than 10k then we can presume that this might be the bottom but of course there would always a tendency for such breakout of supports.

Selling time will vary or does depend if you do set out on a specific range or target.You cant just make out decisions directly without any basis towards it.

What we are seeing right now is interesting, the price is refusing to go below the 10k level and that is without a doubt an important signal however at the same time the DeFi bubble is losing steam and in my opinion it could collapse during the next months, if that is the case can the price of bitcoin hold up? I think it is possible as people stop speculating with those coins they may try to take refuge in coins like tether and bitcoin.

However there is also the possibility that many of those that are currently invested in those coins decide to leave the market as they lose a fortune and instead get fiat in return and this could make the price of bitcoin to go below the 10k level for the first time in weeks.
