As an investor and trader myself, I observed that early investment in very good coins such as IDO/IEO or buying promising tokens cheaply and holding for long term is more rewarding in terms of ROI than day trading, especially when you don't have large funds.

Actually yes, but it must be noted if this will be only working on a project with proper development. If you're participating in unpopular IDO or IEO and that may become a boomerang when you're deciding to hodl the token for the long term.

The daily trader takes only 5% profit but long term hodlers of those coins are taking 100000% now. It can be said a trusted project will be really worth long term investment. I have made 1000% ROI just holding my tokens and i do nothing lol.

Everything is profitable if we know the game.
- IDO can generate 10x in just an instant, if we are smart in choosing projects. On the other hand, if we choose the wrong project, our funds can be held back because the price does not increase from the IDO price.

Well, I also choose to hold on for the long term to get the maximum profit. to be honest, if my economic circumstances met the needs i had, i would continue to hold the coins i own for a very long time.
I did this because I learned from bitcoin price movements that in just 10 years, the price was very high. it is also owned by other coins that are popular today. other than that, you've also mentioned examples. it's just that some people choose to do day trading to meet their needs.

I think there are coins / tokens that are more suitable for investing and hodl as well as those that are suitable for trading. Hodl is not always profitable. Now we are in the bull run, but when the bear market starts and it lasts for a long time, hodling will not be so attractive to many people and then the trading will be more profitable.
I think the best thing is just to divide your funds appropriately into hodl and trading.

For me probably long term holding is the most worth it way to get massive profits in my personal opinion . especially if you are in a coins wherein you're very sure that will perform well in the future, such bitcoin and top cryptos, so there's no regrets with it, indeed this is the very common method of some successful people, very essy way to obtain massive profits and less stress.. I use both strategy of holding and investing in new tokens. Holding concerns mainstream currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and it doesn't require anything from me, I just buy more and more on regular basis, while investing in new tokens requires careful research and being up to date all the time so this gives more profit but takes more time at the same time.

Obviously IDO is the most profitable of all the choices because you are buying on the floor price of the token but the problem was there's always a whitelisting process on most the IDO nowadays which is very hard to win because of bunch of participants swarming in. Your best opportunity to earn profit if you missed IDO was to buy during the initial listing of the token. Just wait for the IDO participants to sell-off then enter a position and hold it until it reach ATH again.

Massive ROI will happen when you're picking the right coin. if you're holding bad coins and I can imagine if you're loosing your money. Massive ROI can be achieved when you're finding a hidden gem from the market. The only problem is you have claimed that as investor but you didn't even think to hodl some for long term. if you're investors and you must believe with the faith of project. It sounds like that you're a short term traders rather than investor who believed in what they have bought from the market with big expectation.

You must have learned a lot of lessons from your experience. If you're catching hidden gem and try to spend at least a few hundreds dollars to be used as long term.
There are so many long term hodlers become the new rich person in crypto but I rarely seen people from the daily traders who have become the new rich person in crypto. I have also learned a lot of reason from that thing.

Of the three options, the safer is a long-term investment. for me who has little funds, this is a realistic choice to invest in cryptocurrencies. while the other two options, require expertise to be able to find the right coin. the risk of investing in new projects is also an important consideration. currently only a small number of projects can generate ROI for early investors. the rest become failed projects, or even dumps.

I personally prefer long term holding over anything else. However "more rewarding" depends on the person as well. If you are a person who can sniff out the best IDO and invest a good amount enough to not ruin the market but to keep yourself at a good amount, wait for it to peak, then sell it at that peak this will result with you having the most rewards there.

If you are a person who understands day trading, knows every chart and can read charts amazingly, use indicators like helpful tools and basically all around can trade insanely well, make thousands of trades on hundreds of coins over dozens of exchanges then you are going to be getting more rewards that way. However long term is same for everyone, it is simple, it doesn't require you to be great at anything, you just buy something and hold it and you end up with a good profit, that is how you make money.

You can trade those usual altcoins that have significant pumps from time to time. But to me, I'll take it slowly but surely and that is through holding.
Once a strategy has been proven, you'll stay on it and that's why I don't have to go anywhere to take the ROI that I have to because with holding, it's been so good to me and after all these years, I'm more than the ROI that I have to take.

IDO in the short term or long term is not a problem, because it is not a benchmark for success factors. the most important thing is how we do the coin selection and our professional skills are run. this is an advantage if our skills and coin selection can be run well and balanced with a good process

ido investors do not need keep long term holding if they didn't wants, because a lot of ido project pump more than x10, of the first day of listing in exchange.
