I need a web wallet that support alt coins must atleast include bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold? Need one for long term storage. No I'm not going to use a cold wallet, I have a very slow net. Sync cause alot of corruptions. Prefer one using a web browser without 2fa or if must, then accept sms or email for verification each time to login.

You can check Magnum wallet. I believe it has all the features you're looking for, just make sure to write the seed and store it somewhere safe.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here...you're not required to download the whole blockchain when using a hardware wallet, you just need to retrieve your balances, and transactions history so if your internet is capable of loading a webpage, you should be fine using a HW wallet as well.

You can check coinomi, though it's not a web wallet, its a desktop and mobile wallet but it has everything you want, storing altcoins/bitcoin and doesn't need any major wallet syncing from its server.
Edge is an option as well though its only for mobile users.

Lastly, I would suggest not using blockchain.com wallet it's a tr*sh.

Idk about web wallet, i can only think using exchange wallet, they only need browser to work and can support 2fa via sms / email. Is not safe tho, but for short period maybe its okay...

If you want to switch to dekstop wallet without downloading the whole blockchain, exodus is good wallet, the UI is modern and has a lot of coins on there.

If you are really into long term. A web wallet would be the last type of wallet you would want to use and a hardware wallet would be the first choice especially if your crypto value is huge. Ask yourself what if you create your web wallet account, keep your coins in there then after one year you try to access your wallet and the web wallet service is no more?

But if you still want to use one then I advise you use a wallet that allows you to back up your recovery phrase and most importantly your private keys to each of the addresses you have kept your coins so that in case the web wallet shuts down, you can easily import your addresses to other wallet services that are available using your private keys and still be able to recover your funds

I think you're misunderstanding how hardware wallet or other wallets work in general. If you're planning to use it as a long term storage, then you can just use SPV client to generate your seeds and then save it, or any HW wallet like Ledger Nano S, Trezor, etc.

Even if your internet is so slow, syncing it won't take that long since it's probably just 1 MB of data or less than that.

joniboini, maybe OP is just try to avoid any downloads because of his slow internet - and it is not only about data which he needs to download to sync wallet, but also about Ledger Live+Apps/firmware update in case of Ledger. In some countries, the speed of the Internet is really very problematic, people suffer from 1 Mbps or even less, and traffic is limited.

Of course, long term storage and web wallets do not make sense, especially those that do not provide the possibility for any backup.

I tend to agree with this statement, I have been through with blockchain.com the web wallet but since I heard this another oper source web wallet the magnum wallet that supported different altcoins, I preferred to use this web wallet. Even though I considered them as a safe wallet but I won't consider them in storing your crypto in a long period of time, a cold wallet much better. You can head up to their ANN thread, it's quite didn't active in this community.

Since OP planning to stored Bitcoin for the long term, I suggest using a hardware wallet, Trezor or Ledger Nano S are much better. Spending a small amount for the security of your valuable asset is worth it and make it sure it is safe at the end of the day.

It will be worse in all respects if you decide to use webwallet, it does not matter how bad the internet you have, but using a wallet for an Android device will be appropriate.

I'm not sure what he's saying here either--a cold wallet and a hardware wallet aren't synonymous as far as I know.  A cold wallet could just be a seed phrase written on a piece of paper, right?  And second, if OP's internet is slow, wouldn't he want to use a cold wallet for long-term storage? 

Don't know if OP is ever going to come back to this thread, but I'd stay away from web wallets altogether.  I used them when I was a newbie to crypto and then found out how un-secure they are and stopped using them.

That's what I was thinking when OP mentioned his need to store bitcoin gold.  I think a lot of desktop/mobile multicoin wallets have security issues, i.e., closed-source code, but I've used Coinomi before with no problems though I'm not exactly certain how secure that wallet is. 

Simplest solution:  buy a hardware wallet.  I don't think OP wants to do this, but it's the least headache/insomnia-causing option out there for storing obscure altcoins like bitcoin gold.

Regardless of the coins that you have mentioned, it's never been safe to store most of your crypto to a web wallet. Understand how the best wallet works, I'm describing the hardware wallets and everyone had explained it well including the download and synching.

It's not that much of a requirement for better security than what you're thinking to use.

I just want to give you a little advice (because everyone already answered your question), my advice is about 2Fa per sms... Dude, avoid this, I suffered a lot with this 2Fa per sms because there are 3 mobile phone operators in my country , one of the operators does not receive sms when I put 2Fa for sms and I was very annoyed by this, because there are times when I need money very urgently but the 2Fa sms simply did not reach my cell phone and it was complicated to contact Blockchain. com (never put 2Fa per sms on Blockchain.com and if possible avoid using blockchain.com if you don't want to cry a lot of regret) because their support in most cases cannot solve the problems.

My country is a very poor country but it has very fast internet even in the most distant district, that's why I doubt that you don't have internet with speed capable of downloading wallets of less than 100MB in just a few minutes.

I also believe that in your country there are many internet operators, use the operator that is faster and download a reliable wallet, your money is precious, so his security must be well guaranteed!

I think OP has misunderstood about cold/hardware wallet. Storing your funds on a web wallet for a long time isn't safe at any cost. Hackers even can bypass 2FA authentication. Doesn't matter its Google or provided by mobile operators. You may read this article, 5 ways attackers can bypass two-factor authentication.

You don't need a high-speed internet for a hardware wallet, you may use it even normal speed the same as a web wallet. So speed doesn't matter if you can afford to buy it.

OP, what you're planning to looks dangerous. Web wallet for long term storage isn't right place. Especially without 2FA. If you're really planning to keep your savings in web wallet, you should accept all possible risks.
People above already suggested you some web wallets. I know, it's your choice, but I think you should consider other options, like desktop wallet. It doesn't requires too much data to download and you'll have to do it only once. And you don't have to download whole blockchain and sync it, unless you're using Bitcoin Core wallet.

Wow, I didn't expected that in 2020 so many people still have such slow internet connection. I thought that even in least developped countries where they have problems with basic things like clean water, they have decent internet already.

LTU_btc, I was also surprised with this information, but the fact is that such a service still exists and that at least for them it is relatively cheap ($10 per month) or even completely free 10 hours a day. However, for some $20 + I have about 40 Mbps with a landline phone that is unlimited to landline numbers and I still get 1000 minutes free to all mobile numbers within the country.

I believe that dial-up internet is used mostly by older people, and that the number will be smaller in the next few years, at least as far as the USA is concerned.
