Do you trust Active telegram Groups?

In my case i don't think active telegram group is the main basic of a project get success or not. There are lots of such group i seen ever they mostly scammed. Crypto is always unpredictable and risky so be careful anyone who are investing in any coins. Good luck!

And whether it is possible to determine the success of the project by how actively they conduct a telegram channel or other social networks. It seems to me that the telegram channel is very difficult to determine the prospects of the project. You need to look at all the factors together.

Most of them have active users and admin but there are still project in telegrams which are shit. Therefore, I did not trust 100% in active telegrams because not all of them are real projects. In fact, there is a telegram campaign which we have to say good words about the project to gain coins. It is not a real investors but paid shillers.

If you're just based in the amount of participant in their telegram group, you will totally mistaken about it. Remember that some of them are not asking questions about the project and just join them for the sake of the bounty campaign. The project team must also present in the telegram group to answer the investor's questions. It helps the project if the project team are very active and always update their investors.

Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.

I think there are really several active telegram groups which are very successful but I think still many mostly of the telegram group tends to be scam or fake projects because me, myself have joined and experience several scammed and faked telegram group and I just waste my time participating on it.

Some particularly cunning scammers use channels with logos and names of successful projects, lure people there, promising, for example, an airdrop, and then simply sell the channel for a lot of money. All these are scams and there are a lot of them. Indeed, I am very sorry for the wasted time. Telegram has already become a trash heap.

In all honesty, I really don't trust these telegram group chats at all. Most of them are joining the group chats because they are overly bored and have nothing wlse to say or do online so they jusy chat and chat nonsensical things that has nothing to do with the project and also the GIFs are annoying as hell. I really want legit projects to get to another much better chat program so we can participate better.

 If you really want to make sure that the active telegram group you are in is actually a good one, you should try to probably focus on active telegram groups that you have some friends involved. What I mean by this is that if you have been in crypto world for a long time you will definitely meet some people and you will spend some time with those people as well, at the end you will bond some sort of friendship, obviously they are online strangers if you think about it but you have been talking and chatting with them for months even years sometimes, I know some of my telegram friends for over 3 years now. When you get involved with another group, make sure that some of your friends in other places are aware of that group too, so as outsiders you will talk about what you think about those groups without actually talking in that group, if few of you see something suspicious you can dig deeper to find the truth. If all of you like it, then you can join too.

This is one of the best place to get update aside from twitter. So dev and the team that have some good news is really a good aspect. Active means they are always on the go to release some important task on the move. I know that dead telegram group for projects rarely have some good news will end up a dead project.

Yes, that's right, things like coin lists and coin exchanges are very important to be known by everyone involved in the project, not only investors, and that will clearly be notified by the project team into their community group, namely at telegram.

Active telegram groups do actually make a good calls for the members to gain profit. Why? Most of the time, they have active shillers who shares good projects. There are also times that these shillers are sharing a not so promising project but the members are still gaining profit. How? Because the members themselves are the one contributing to the development of the project, thus, them, buying the tokens is the factor for the token price to increase. Meaning, an active telegram group with active investors does really help for short term gains.

And if this happens, if I manage to stumble upon any project of that kind, I always do my own due dilligence, trusting anonymous folks on the internet is bonkers.

Me neither, i don't trust active telegram at all. Well maybe i already learned from the past experience of others who personally speaking that those platform were not totatlly helpful. Though i may not getting in there platform as always but based from the story of others it was already an eye opener for me. Dont have any interest to get in there that deep. I'll still looking for a better program that can really help me especially will educate me further, where i can get enough information and knowledge deeply about what i am doing today and of course where i can participate legit and knowing that my time and effort will be paid off.

Always much better to do your DYOR and not to allow anyone to control you or to guide you in any aspect of your decision making.
You have to trust yourself instead of believing social media channels always have risk, even the team itself can be scammed you out
or they are being faked by someone who are knowledgeable enough to trick you about the project.

I used to be active in telegram before. I used to scout crypto channel to get updates on the crypto projects I invest in. But overtime, I have observed that Telegram has been a channel by many scam projects to attract people to invest in scam projects. I see many channels with many members but does not give benefit to the projects. missing the old days.

Not all active telegram group are reliable for a good project. I trust selected active telegram group because there is also an active telegram but the project is dead. Also telegram is now the way of scammers to attract people to invest on their project after that they suddenly gone and leave the telegram.

I personally don't really trust a project's telegram line that even has thousands of users on it. I've heard of a service site that offers paid bot users, ICO creation services, and much more. This is the reason why I don't really trust active telegram lines.

As you have analyzed a lot of projects on telegram, you can take the smart decision here. I won't suggest anyone to invest in new DeFi project which one introducing themselves through telegram. I have rarely found good & successful projects on telegram. The project you mentioned(Xfinance) already in market and seems doing good till now. Though in the short term we can't trust it fully. Hope you gained success if you have invested before.

I was into different telegram groups, and I take the good suggestions from the group members. We can't always expect cent percent perfection with the telegram groups. Importantly I prefer joining on trusted groups, because I went close to getting trapped and escaped by luck.

To solve an issue that happened with binance account I tried with the support mail. The reply got delayed, and I searched binance support on telegram. Here I got one and started to share the issue, finally to resolve he asked for the account details and the private key. By luck I got response from the real support team through mail. Later only understood it was a group of scammers.

I would rather pay more attention to different articles with fair reliability but it still depends on what you mean by active telegram groups, if having many messages in telegram group would be your basis it doesn't impact that much since telegram groups are more active with questions that is simple and direct which don't imply that it is an active project, I see bounties that offers a crypto just for you to ask a question to their telegram.
