I am not really particular to swcpoker.eu, just a curious question before I will try my luck in that site. Upon your experience, usually how many are participants in every tournaments that they held? Like the maximum number that you remember and the minimum one.
Because I am really looking for a platform where there are plenty of active players and there are no bots of course so we can really enjoy the game.
Its certainly less busy than poker stars Id say be cautious. Im stuck with this 2k ticket and it never gets 4 players. Saying that I did good on the cash tables. its just the 9 of you in that.

12 Midday WET (late reg now) SwC MBSOB deep stacks - entry 0.000250BTC - Prizes 5k Finish: 3rd 977.60
Wow, that is awesome, congratulations. Well played! I tried to play a tournament today but didn't have the time today. I might try again the Pokerstars Twitch Tournament tomorrow evening again. On SWC I only played the micro stake games, so won't be earning any Krill as it's rake free. I am not really particular to swcpoker.eu, just a curious question before I will try my luck in that site. SWC Poker seems like a nice platform, there active players all the time, if a cash game table is empty I just waited a few minutes at the table and people join quick. As for the free roll tournaments there is one every hours, with around 25-30 players, and Top 5 is being paid. The only problem is that there a lot of different poker variants being played. It might take a few hourse until you can play NL Holdem free roll tournament, my favourite. All the other poker variants I can't play very well.

they prohibit bots and i've never noticed a problem with them. if you're used to sites like pokerstars or even ACR, you will definitely be disappointed by the size of tournaments at SwC. still, they are the best crypto-only poker site, hands down.

I'm glad you're enjoying poker. When I started I played quite a few freerols and low-cost tournaments, but over time I learned to play cash and now I hardly play tournaments anymore, as cash gives me regular benefits.
Also, I can't stand tourneys variance so much these days. like when you're about to reach the final table, you get AA, you see a whale pushing from UTG and he finally craks your aces with J8s after waiting for so long.

On the upside of that you don't need to sit down and commit several days to the grind for the last table. This is why I like KO bounties. I played one last night on Poker Stars at least you can earn something early on. They break for the day after 7 or so hours in the bigger tournaments. *edit* Yes I had most success in 25/50 "cash" tables. Good place to work up my entry fees and stuff

KO Bounties are great because you can make some decent money during the tournament already. I cashed out on pokerstars a few month back, so I only got $5 on their. Will try today in the evening again the Twitch Freeroll tournament. I need some bankroll first again to go back into cash games. Overall I also prefer cash games to tournaments because you can just leave the table when you get tired and your concentration drops. I had a smaller bike accident last week so need to take it slow this week, which is good for playing some poker tournaments from the couch with the tablet. Will be playing some SWC and Pokerstars freerolls. Anyone going to join this week?

Wow, you are realling running hot in poker. How much did you win? I blew 3 buyins yesterday on the Freeroll but didn't make it into the money. Will try again on the weekend. Do you know if there is any form of staking on pokerstars?

By the time I went out there were nearly 9000 entries You really need to commit some time to it and be ultra patient. I went out to a straight I missed when I has 2 pair. I wish it was a KO tourney cos I knocked out about 6 or 8 people. Im looking for one of them next.

+1. i didn't mind so much when i was grinding 100+ MTTs a week and working through the variance quickly. these days, i don't have much time to play, and the long breakeven-ish stretches are killing me. tourneys used to be my bread and butter but cash games are becoming more attractive lately. if you're used to sites like pokerstars or even ACR, you will definitely be disappointed by the size of tournaments at SwC. still, they are the best crypto-only poker site, hands down.
On the upside of that you don't need to sit down and commit several days to the grind for the last table. but then, how much is the final table worth? i hear you though. this stuff boils down to what kinda tourney player you are. my bread and butter has always been mid-large field MTTs and 9-man SNGs. 18-45 man tourneys are a bit of a weakness for me---sadly, our bitcointalk series usually falls in this range.

I always want to ask this one, how many ITM percentage that you should get to be considered 'decent' or over the average joe ? I check on pokercraft and most of the average joe actually has 10% on average, some score almost 20% so I supposed that is considered as good or probably pro online poker player. Of course the percentage drop with the amount of tournament that you joined but its pretty hard sometimes to get ITM spot with over 3k registrants You really need to commit some time to it and be ultra patient.
Depending on the blind structure and starting chips, some tournament could go well around 10+ hours if you actually make it to top 50 or even last table. Its kinda tiring sometimes

Of course the percentage drop with the amount of tournament that you joined but its pretty hard sometimes to get ITM spot with over 3k registrants it would be reasonable to shoot for 15-20% ITM. anything over 20% is great IMO. less than 10% over the long run = something is probably wrong, although that can depend on playing style. if you're only ITM 9% of the time but you're really good at making final tables or binking tourneys when you are, you're probably a very profitable player. ITM rate obviously doesn't capture that. that's why ITM rate isn't a very important stat. ROI or hourly earn rate is much more important.

To be able to get into final table with over 2k registrants on tournament would be great and its damn hard. Most of the time on low buy in tournaments, there are alot of shoving action which makes it kinda hard to check on the flop when you think you got the potential hand . I played once on ggpoker and managed to get on the final table. Small tournament with $1 buy in and over 200 players and no guaranteed amount ( all of the buy in goes into the pot ) managed to ended up 8th, It was probably over 4 hours lol . Not to mention that the blinds eats up your stack if you didnt manage to get big stack before the final table
Any good poker action from you anymore @Globb0 ? I can see from your screenshot that you were doing so much better than me

No luck for me yesterday, managed to knock out 5 people but then lost it all with AA vs A7 who managed to hit a 7 on the flop and turn. It's frustrating playing for an hour and then get out close to the money. I still have 3 tickets left I couldn't use yet, so seems like I will play this weekend again.
I am also looking for a new poker site with a food deposit bonus, don't feel like adding any money to pokerstars without a promotion. Any recommendations for mid size poker sites?

ggpoker has 200% deposit bonus up to $600 and you can deposit with bitcoin but yeah this poker site is like the lower pokerstars version. Almost the same number of registrant on each tournament but less guaranteed amount compared with pokerstars. Any recommendations for mid size poker sites? swc? some low-mid size buy in tournament is pretty much packed in there I just got back from hospital. What happened? 2.20$ satellite to a 150k game. Good value 2 tickets.
This reminds me , I just won $25 entry ticket to 100k guaranteed game tomorrow . The satellite cost was $2.5 and it was a hyper game with 3 minutes blinds increase Either way I sold 70% of my stake for this game so yeah atleast I will get something even if Im not getting ITM spot
