As an investor and crypto enthusiast i will definitely pick bitcoin, gold is only good at times of bad times in global economy or panic situation in economies worldwide. Also for bitcoin you have full control and liquidity while for gold you may not always find buyers in your local area.

Bitcoin is a new type of investment whereas gold is an old type. gold is a type of investment that promises a stable price because the price changes are not so wild.

but I don't like investing in the type of investment that has a stable price, I prefer the type of investment that can give big returns in a fast time like Bitcoin.

You can find many similar threads on this forum and on Reddit.

Most people will recomend having both because you can never know what will happen in the world. Maybe there's a war or an EMP attack on your country that will render all electronics useless. You may need to buy something but you won't have enough cash and you won't be able to access your bitcoins. In such case you will always have some gold.

It's an extreme scenario but I used it to show that in different situations different things can become life savers.

I don't have gold only cash and cryptocurrencies but I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it.

If you can bear the high risk of getting a profit that I recommend Bitcoin, especially after Bitcoin reaches the price level 9300 is likely to Reversal.

Gold can still bring you good return. You said as an example if you have a lot of money. Investing with huge amount can potentially give you bigger returns so that still applies with gold but it's lesser volatile.

If you can do both, why not have them? you have diversified to both store of value. Having both can balance your risk appetite, if bitcoin sways, gold won't sway a lot and the same applies with winning and losing, vice versa.

If you want to not do anything but dont mind getting a small return, definitely gold. I dont see gold bringing down in value in the relevant future. But if you want a bigger return then you have to work hard or else youre going to lose your investment in bitcoin.

If I were an investor I would optimize my investment but would tend to invest more in Bitcoin because this coin is worth more than gold. Of course, I will also invest gold but if I do, I will keep for a long time because gold is very useful in my daily life.

Well, obviously of course, if you anyone is a bitcoin fanatic they will gonna choose Bitcoin. It is because they knew and believe that it has a good future. Although Gold is not bad in fact, this is good as back up by real currency. Like for example US$ back-up by Gold something like that. I guess that will be easy to decide. But first, I want to know how much money you have. If you have $100k, I suggest you invest in both gold and bitcoin. Right now, gold moves seem very good, and I think that can be your long term investment as the material of gold will not infinite. And then you can invest in bitcoin for your second long term investment. After that, you should leave the market and don't take a look at it because the market can make you become confused to see the price fluctuate.

Both gold and bitcoin will have the risk, and you should know how to prevent the big risk. If you can minimize the risk, then that will not be a problem for you since you want to have a long term investment.

No need to think where, invest with both as much as possible. Gold can make you look fancy while bitcoin can give you the feeling of living in 2030 lol. Forex trading is a little bit complicated, but on the other hand, crypto trading is more accesible even to a youngster. If everything you look at is with intentions of profit then this is fine answer, because bitcoin can bring you large amounts of returns in no time. Sometimes people earn big amounts of chunks in single day than anyone would earn from months of investments in stocks, golds etc.
 
But with the stable investment point of view of course no one can touch the beauty of gold. FYI: Gold is also profitable these days if you see high peek in the Gold prices.

If you don't want to be quick rich then surely Gold is what you looking for. Invest, lockout the funds, and wait for few years to see prices hiking like crazy. I would say it's a win-win situation.

In my opinion, we should invest in Bitcoin better than gold. We know that crypto is a new financial market but it does not have the strict control of any government. I agree with you. If I compare the two, I see Bitcoin has more advantages and will definitely have a higher total capitalization than gold one day. However, in order to gain more public awareness, the entire crypto market needs to be legalized as this is something that will make investors feel more secure. I agree with you, hedging your portfolio with precious commodities and bitcoins is the best way. But one thing to notice is that the gold price is much closer to its all time high than the bitcoin price. In my opinion there is much more room for bitcoins to go up in price than gold. Another problem is that storing physical gold is expensive,much more than you pay for any bitcoin wallet. Better to go fit bitcoins than gold.

Well in my case, I am not that kind big of investors so I have no definitely access to Gold investment so I will go for Bitcoin due to the fact that it is pretty convenient and accessible for everyone. Besides, what I like about Bitcoin is the high volatility which can never be seen on Gold. Not gonna lie gold is more stable and more secure than Bitcoin but remember the higher the risk si the higher the profit will be. Moreover, I've been here almost 3 years in this industry so I witnessed what Bitcoin can do within a single amount of time.

That's the problem with gold investments, not many people can afford to have their own gold stash.
But with bitcoin investments, everyone can participate as you can buy even a small fraction of it.
But then again, if you have the funds to go both, would be a smart move if you can have both investments.
Gold is a tangible asset and you will not worry about its price volatility.
You can very well sleep soundly without worrying the value of your gold will go down rock bottom.
Whereas, if you are going crypto in full blast, you heart palpitates every time there is sudden change in the market.

that depends on your strategy and your risk taking ability plus your investment amount. You should always diversify your investment for safety rather than putting it all in one and leaving others. Gold has its own benefits as a tangible asset and if there is a technology disruption you can always count on it. Bitcoin on the other hand can bring you better return with risk.

Say I have $100 thousand to invest so 15 thousand to put in copper? That's like 2.5 ton.

Will do both, as long gold that i bought really easy to sell back. I mean, not about solid gold bar, maybe like jewelry that the shop guarantee they can follow how much gold price. 50/50 will be my opinion in the time of hard financial crisis but at the remaining times I will prefer to invest of bitcoin more than gold because it is highly stable so we are not going to make anything by holding our funds there.

It depends but if i on your situation then i would allocate 70% for Gold then 30% on Crypto. Im not really that too negative on cryptocurrency potential but nothing really beats out when it comes to
security of your money or investment when it comes to Gold side. Cryptocurrency would be good to treat as an alternative but we know that volatility and unpredictability of the market which makes me

Real gold has a physical presence that everyone can store, and security is very dependent on the user. While crypto gold is the same as Bitcoin, but I believe more in Bitcoin than crypto gold.

For long term investment I would prefer bitcoin. I believe that bitcoin will have a good price in the future. Personally I vote for Bitcoin. It has many advantages over gold. As if you want to invest in physical gold (buy bars or gold coins), but not just in futures, you will have many problems with storing and also you will get a big difference between the price of buying and selling if you want to sell in a short period of time. But working with bitcoin is much easier as you can store them on a small dedger and sell without such a huge spread as there is a lot of liquidity on the crypto market.

Well personally for me its not bad to have the two if you can actually afford it… gold is kinda the old way of investing money and its always worldwide and prices aint volatile like crypto currency but We all know Bitcoin is the future way of investing and you can easily make double your money in months or you can also lose it too
