Yes, i believe it is. Halving should occur next 1200 blocks, or roughly 50 hours from now. So it will be late evening 7th may or early morning 8th of may.

Just 991 blocks left now.  I understand the merged mining update takes effect at the same time... and my assumption is the pegged sidechains implementation will be following as soon after as Blockstream releases their first public version.

It looks like activity has tapered off over there. Lets remember to give Cryptapus a little love for the services he provides to to the community.

One of my favorte strategies is to send a few Uno to the 95% game and then keep rolling the winnings down. I've made it all the way to 25%.   Of course I am not very good at knowing when to stop, but one of these days I'm going to roll it all the way down to 1% and be a rich man.  That will probably the the day Cryptapus takes his games offline. So in the meantime, try your luck and have some fun with your Uno.

I am making my first zero-gravity purchase (7.5 Uno) through Un-Ex today. I just can't wait another day to get started. Besides, the price really wants to rise right now.  Only 225 new Uno will be mined each month following this halving.  

The next next halving should occur in December 2015. This is the year of zero gravity Unobtanium.

For newcomers:  Uno was fairly launched in 2013.  Following an initial period of low block rewards to prevent Instamining, the UNO block reward was set to 1 Uno/block, and has halved every 100k blocks since. For the next 22 hours, the reward remains at .03125 beforing droping to .015625.
To sustain the network, the last 50k Uno will be mined over 300 years at the minimum reward of .001 Uno/block.  AuthPow (merged mining) Uno with Bitcoin will become effective at Block 600k. These steps will help ensure the health of the Uno network into the future. This is why Uno behaves differently than other cryptos. It is fairly launched, with super low inflation and no POS. It's the closest thing to a pure cryptocommodity that you'll find.  An active community of collectors/investors are accumulating Uno for the long term, and have sustained the price and interest in Uno since 2013.

Someone should ask BW if there is a hard fork at block 600k. I suspect there is, and everyone who is running v0.9.5 will need to upgrade to v0.10 or their transactions will be on a forked chain. I see most of my peers are still running v0.9.5... I would help with windows/mac binaries but unfortunately I'm Linux only...

Same here, I can't help with the Mac folks at all, and Windows isn't my forte. I will however switch to v0.10 this evening, as I was unaware the halvening might bring about a fork.
