China seems to been having a teensy bit of troubles right now. Although it could be a good time for Uno to enter the space if people might be looking for 'alternatives' to what ever else is out there. One could look at that both ways. Extra good time for them since someone wants to break up with Uno and there are plenty available

Lots of background here, Sirsmokes. The Chinese have been looking for alternatives to the Yuan for years – read up on the junkets to Macau.
They tried for a buck with industrial-infrastructure re-development. Failed.
They tried for a buck with real-estate development. Failed.
They tried for a buck with stock markets. Failing.
The List of Other Stuff is short, and cryptos are high on it.

But they've also dropped capital into tons of alts too.

Now they have cornered the mining tech, see that industrial-infrastructure development.
And they wish to fill all that real-estate development.
With newly rich Chinese who play these new crypto DAC stock markets.

How do you do that?  Same way Uncle Sam used his pure fiat Buck (1970s-present) as the global unit of exchange.  This time you control the tech that mints BTC, LTC, Doge, and even UN   ^{At least the remaining 1/5th stuck in the ground for 300 years}

I am still working on the standalone hardware nodes, but every open wallet helps. Or you can run a standalone daemon (no wallet).

If you wan to run a node, open port 65534 in your firewall and you'll soon be swimming with connections.  If you do this, be sure to set a very secure user name and password in your Unobtanium.conf file.

Hmm, Hardware node seems preferable to firewall alterations and increased security requirements. That's amazing that there is a standalone node in the works. How long until it is completed? How many will you make? How much will they cost?

I've been thinking of how nice it would be to have a hardware wallet for UNO. I love the Ledger Wallet system. Are there any current methods of convenient cold storage for UNO? Is it compatible with the BIP38-style 24-word backups?
