In the past 5 hours 819 Uno has been drained from Cryptsy.  Still a long way to go, though.

random fyi observation: supply will go over 196,000 Uno today.

random speculation: I hope there will not be a run on Cryptsy's funds.
This would be a totally different backend situation than we saw with Coin-ex and Minpal, where the btc was stolen.  There is no allegation that Cryptsys funds have been misued or fractionalized, and so there should be enough coin to fund withdrawals.

Looks like Ian and FallingKnife were right! Cheesy

Still, like we can't trust one Coinfire article I won't trust one Cryptsy blog post, I'm leaving funds off of there for now because there just isn't a great reason to have any there. I'll see how this plays out, should be interesting either way, wonder if a Coinfire hack will be revealed, their reputation will be completely destroyed or something else...

Props to Ian, you seem sensible and keen to some info in the Crypto world.

Edit: I know you can't put much weight in a few reddit comments, but as a gauge of public perception, people in /r/bitcoin aren't taking that Cryptsy post very seriously https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3nkotr/cryptsy_responds_to_coinfire/

Best case scenario: We got a few coins away from the mega wallet and had a good reason to munch on some popcorn.

Worst case scenario: Coinfire happened to be right and one day Cryptsy funds get frozen or they make a run.

Indeed, Cryptsy is going to cover themselves even if there is an issue, and several of these things I've been unnerved about since they spring up. The Paycoin, Garza, and them running a prime controller I feel certain they are being investigated about, and the SEC acts very SLOWLY. Orderbooks manipulation I don't doubt either.

Oh speaking of feedback, you wanna give me some for yesterday? Hopefully I show some trust after I pay Mark and he adds a bit of trust as well.

I don't know what happened, but I didn't submit two, but it shows two identical trades with you on my behalf. Oh well. No worries, the only reason I mention it is because it shows I have no feedback. Sad

@IMZ: 16 UNO sent to you. $15.70 an ozt. right now for silver in USD, so I sent that plus right about $7.40 additional for shipping, but you'll need to let me know if I flubbed on price due to USD to Australian difference.

Woo hoo!

Whatever sum of Uno turns up in my wallet will do, RDD. It's just fine, as Bitcoin Charlie points out, to see the Uno-bullion association re-gaining a little strength. And I'll remember to beef up your Bitcointalk trust-rating.

And I asked Crypto Threads about a T-shirt yesterday.

And The Offer still stands: can a bottle of Unobtanium beer make its way from the U.S. to Oz? [ http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22655/59332 ]

That beer  Shocked

After some searching it looks like it would be hard to find even in the U.S., I'll look at my local shops but it's "small batch". Let me know if you find a store list or a place to order it. I want a bottle! (& I'd send you one if possible)

yeah, we need to figure out who their distributor is, figure out when they release their next batch, and one of us get our local beer spot to get a case.

we should hang out on cryptocat more often.  i'm gonna start leaving a tab open with it on the unobtanium channel semi-regularly, since i'm online all the time anyway.

It's almost a tease, Nat -- the stuff is boutique. But if you manage to score some, I'll pay the cost of getting it to Oz.

IMZ has been ridiculed for its orientation to P2P crypto development:

Okay IMZ I'll do some looking.

Cryptapus released a Windows version of the Unobtanium Electrum, it works great but I think the 2 factor authentication isn't compatible so I can't send my test amount. No big deal, I'll wait to get some input from Cryptapus then either work through the issue or try the non-2FA version. I encourage windows users to try it out! https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/

There's some selling into buys at 0.00575 on Cryptsy but a large buy wall at 0.006 on Bittrex. It's painfully temping to go put an order at 0.0058 on Cryptsy but I will resist since I just emptied my account there. If anyone hasn't removed bitcoin from Cryptsy yet I suggest setting a buy over there.

I fixed the external link to the Unobtanium official website on the general "Unobtainium" wikipedia page.

I also made it so that "Unobtanium" does not redirect to "Unobtainium" I'm not sure if that is the most reasonable solution, but if not we can change it in the future.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unobtanium

I only just got it started with 1 sentence but will do much more in the near future. If someone else would like to help fill it in I would appreciate it, this is a good little community project that anyone can contribute to regardless of tech skills.
