i'll hold BTC, ETH or any other coin but not UNO.  Because I get 0% gains after 3 years HODL.  Because with UNO if you hold just 100 coins you have better than 1:2000 equity.  I prefer holding BTC, I have almost 1, thus I have almost 1:21000000 share.  Silly rarity commodity coin running on AuxPow on the BTC network with near null annual inflation!!

inserting them again manually via debug console has sorted the syncing, but wtf - its 2017!!

Uno is hanging with the Wild Ones on the CMC currency list.



Up 53% in 7 days! If people are patient, they can do much better than this measley 100-150% gain.
I have more confidence in price raises when they are steady and long term. It tells me emotions are being controlled.

A price of .005 would be $6.00 Uno at current btc price. It's easily within reach.

It was fun for strong hands to buy at 001, but imo, its time for Uno to return to the top 100 of cmc's currency list and stay there awhile.

Some of these issues we have installing UNO Windows wallet is because a) it is downloaded from the internet and b) the installer packages are unsigned.  Windows 10 is really hard on unsigned software since last year.

All we need is someone who can prepare a signed Windows installer package. So a developer with a SHA2 certificate who can simply bundle an existing wallet, and copy a default Unobtanium.conf file with current addnodes to the appropriate directory, then start Unobtanium-qt.

I would suggest we use the "Blueman" wallet as the new default wallet.

Is there anyone reliable who can do this for a bounty?

It is my opinion that bundling a .conf file is a bad idea, no other reputable core client does this. What should be done is define seed nodes that are valid. If you control a domain and would like to point a dns entry to a valid IP address, it won't require a new client compile after each change (just update the dns entry). The more folks who are willing to do this the better (decentralization). Please see this pull request:

we need a dead dumb simple version bundle.

and yes it must be packaged by a very reliable source.
i'd say by Fall 2017.  no immediate rush.  focus ...(just update the dns entry)
(we aren't the only coin with this predicament the whole field needs to discuss the issue)

1. dns entry ... 3-11 websites/url seeders controlled by a wide assortment of people ... seed.unobtanium.uno tops the list.

2. toggle keyboard for passwords (sprouts has this feature) just pull from their code.

3.  play with a client gui multisig feature, yeah its in the console but if we could bring it up front and simplify, awesome.

4.  very very simple instructions/process on how to install the daemon on the common server hosts (digitalocean, AWS).

Saw a new UNO market today, Alexandrite, ALEX, so wanted to check it out.
Dev premined 62,200 coins, 2 months of mining.
Launched Feb. 18.  Dead March 2.
Coin not behaving as expected.

Some coins don't last 2 weeks.  Some, like UNO, make it into their 4th year.

What I don't get is.... why chase shit like ALEX?  This wasn't even a good crypto scam.  It was like Lemurcoin 2.0, right out of 2014.

Why chase shit like ALEX when there's UNO -- a proven, fair launch, merged mine, low inflation, no-premine, no-POS, no bull-shit, no scam rare cryptocurrency with a long term community and dev, traded directly to 300 markets (including ALEX), that is proven to survive pnd and exchange failures?

I conclude:  we need to tell more people about UNO.

I really, honestly think coin launches are passé at this point.

UNO is a solid coin, est. 2013.  And there are dozens of other solid coins out there, most of them trade against UNO.  But launching and enduring are two different phases.  And we are reaching, or have reached a point where it is point-less to launch new networks unless they offer something unprecedented.

The contest was to create decentralized networks.  UNO is holding 4 Aces in that game.  Low inflation, FAIR LAUNCH, base pair, merge mining. The next phase of digital money is the ICOs, thus far scammy, but the COINS can underwrite and provide legitimacy for venture capital.  UNO is at a forefront of this emergent possibility.
