Hi guys,
I left UNO about 6 months ago, because I'm a trader. I had them for long time and was proud of it.
Today I had a look at UNO and I have to give you all a big bravo for holding on the coin.
Stable price and still active community, just great !!!

You should realy try to get UNO on Poloniex. UNO might not have enough volume for a trading platform like Poloniex,
but that's in the nature of UNO. It is a rare and cool thing, and I'm sure, many traders would like to own some... think about it ;-)

There aren't many coins that have weathered this long. I'd actually say that UNO has been a better investment than BTC over the last 5 years. Especially if you timed it right. Obviously going forward anything can happen- but still food for thought.

Unobtanium is also a relatively solid project, since too many COINS are now in danger of surviving.Unobtanium at least at this point I wouldn't worry too much.

I would like to get a bunch of these but it says a max of 250,000 but only 200,000 are in circulation...who is holding the rest of 50,000?
also why it is not on other exchanges? Did the team left it?
the site is not even secured...what happened in those 5 years? just comunity mining ?

The 50,000 remaining UNO have not been mined yet.  They will be mined over the next 30 years.
UNO is on about 7 exchanges.  See the first post (also known here as the OP)

Take CMC list:

1. remove all the none mineable (token BS).

Now you have the actual REAL coins.

2.  Figure algorithms, hash rate, launch date, (fair launch? still looking at you DASH, bytecon, steem, eth), and emmm.... mining hardware tech.

Okay now you see $UNO is fair square and what is that? ... running on the BTC hardware/software ... top level Hash-Rate (ie POWER!!). $$$

3.  Now evaluate and discover that $UNO is undervalued and actually a BTC-side-chain.

The big boys are on the way once the BCH fiasco dust settles.

Hello Folks,

I'm trying to build the UNO code from https://github.com/unobtanium-official/Unobtanium/commit/316146b04faaa690f5f092b5c4f071307bf33cf7.  I can do so using QT4 but I'd rather use QT5.  However, when attempting the build using QT5 I get the error: "Compile your code with -fPIC (-fPIE is not enough)."

I realize that this commit is rather dated (2017-02) and perhaps the issue will vanish with the latest version.  But I've seen this error frequently, with other coins, and discussion of is strangely absent on the interpipes.  So I'd really like to get to the bottom of this and understand and solve the root problem.

I have tried several variations of ./configure  --disable-shared --with-pic CXXFLAGS="-fPIC" CPPFLAGS="-fPIC" to no avail.

Any clues appreciated.  Thank you.
