I think Cryptsy just had a glitch. More likely, it's just some api failure that was quickly corrected and set right in your account. BigVern has been tweeting today about the auto convert tool and cryptsy points market... they had something weird happen and they've fixed it.

I too logged in today, and Cryptsy flashed me a message that said I bought 200 @.0024, but the transaction wasn't in my list.  My order wasn't live, and my bitcoin was added back to my account. A broken api is much more plausible to me than 40k uno laundered.

Out of curiosity, on Cryptexplorer.com I browsed all of the transactions in the blockchain back to 450k, and there's nothing in there that looks suspicious.  There is no 40,000 Uno transaction, or anything even comparable.  You just couldn't hide a thing like that when there's less than 190k coins.  Also no change in the richlist.  There's also no previous evidence that Coinex had anywhere close to 40k coins stolen (6k is more like it).

I don't doubt that as UNO's major market Cryptsy probably has 40k uno in wallets; probably their broken autoconvert tool sold off everything instantly and they caught it and set it right.

Cryptsy is a good exchange, and has served uno well. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt; if Big Vern was going to launder 40k uno, he's plenty smart enough to do it without raising such a fuss, and he'd probably contact me offline to get a MUCH better price than 1 satoshi (I'd go as high as 10! Smiley  )  As it is, nobody lost anything. It all points to a glitch in my book.

Yes, its disappointing because I thought I bought a coin I love at an amazing price, but then, it's already at an amazing price.

Just heard from Fairglu

Hi,

Explorer for Unobtanium synchronizing now at http://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno

It's still way behind, and the wallet isn't synchronized yet, so allows many hours for it to catch up!
If you spot something odd let me know.

My BTC address is 167UmhfQ4gt8Vb7MV9FwTwgvfkQQYF7US9 thanks!

----------

I will sending him your donations for this project shortly.  Go check it out! You watch the history of the UNO blockchain unfold before your eyes!

if that is true and cryptsy has in fact 40k in their exchange. TAKE THEM OUT YOU MORONS!!!

40.000 Uno is way to much to have in one exchange!
Move them out! Seriously, people.
A deposit from your desktop-wallet to an exchange takes less than 20minutes. The market does not move that fast that you need to store 40k coins at cryptsy.

Sorry for being loud but we have been dumped on much less than that over the past months. If cryptsy gets 'hacked' today we can seriously abandon altcoins in general. 20% to 25% total supply in one place is nothing we want or a risk we can afford to take. When will you people learn? When?!

edit: or is it wolong hoarding at cryptsy? I mean: 10k in one order? From what is that data constructed? Who has 8k and 10k in their cryptsy-accounts? I mean Wtf?

We get a lot of sunshine on Uno lately ... lol
Checking uLpiP right now. Will need some time. I'll report back with findings.

I am way beyond my technical expertise about exchanges here, but one thing we learned about Coinex is that they put all of their coins into a single wallet. Cryptsy doesn't do that, or we would easily see it on the richlist.  Cryptsy appears to use individual wallets that you can protect with 2FA and email verification. It's a lot easier to "hack" one huge Coinex wallet than thousands of small Cryptsy wallets.

I'm only guessing that Cryptsy might have shown their hand at having about 40k uno last night.  40k out of 190k coins is 21%.... it sounds like a reasonable guess to me as to how much uno Cryptsy may have on their books.  Last January at it's peak, the richlist data says Coinex held about 16% of the total uno in it's single wallet, so 21% for Cryptsy doesn't sound crazy.

(Btw, at the time of the purported March 2014 "hack," the richlist data says the Coinex wallet held about 5% of total uno. It also shows that a lot of coins were withdrawn from the wallet in February 2014, during the huge Wolong pump, which makes sense -- people withdrew to sell to Wolong, probably on Cryptsy).

yeah, cryptsy leaves the coins you send them in the adress you sent to until someone else bought them and withdraws directly from there. We found that out the last days. So you don't find one large cryptsy-wallet in the blockchain.

So there could be two pretty large accounts at cryptsy with 10k and 8900 Un
Some whales who bought over the last few months probably. But can't be sure. It was just a 'glitch'

hahaha

Un is right now probably the most transparent coin out there.

I see brilliant arbitrage coming soon Wink
Let's play poker with open hands, shall we?  Tongue

Pump it up wolong, already! Coinex is out. We don't sell to you at these prices!

To the mUn!

...cryptsy what a bunch of amateurs ... autoselling all their Un and points ... lol ... unbelievable! ... haha - you better shut down those withdrawals fast. haha. That could have gone really wrong man Cheesy
Next time check twice before implementing shit and executing orders, Vern! Really.

What i found from looking at uLpiP:

This adress was getting 2200 Un in 25th of december and 2000 in 27th of January from uLpiP:
uerJLjGmPoZDGSUqqEfkQtNbGQz7FA5CLF

liquidating between 31st Jan and 5th of april
possible private wallet - not sure

time: well before the 'hack' - i thought i mention it because the amount was pretty significant.

----------------------

15th of march uLpiP contains around 8500 Un (before that i found a lot of transactions out which could well be private wallets of people withdrawing - but we don't know who or if they already took Un out for themselves before the "hack")

all transactions on 17th of march go to uffG (cryptsy-account) and nowhere else as far as i can see.

uLpiP nearly empty 17th of march.

People continue to mine with them (thank you for that - not) 380 Un till 30th of march

on 30th of march this transaction for 6 Un occurs:

http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/1a3fbcc7915e6fafe22dd9a8c2c0bb0fdad2fdc7d02c91db39cfe203cad18f77

two transactions for 49Un each to adress uLqvAbZkqXsfSDYx6HAFJcjGjS7ZDXuzv2:
http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/d3c8908dc01920bdc66e30e0745c00b4b76fc70f0f2aa8098d63a0aefe6ffaf0
http://cryptexplorer.com/tx/ec1e6d59c9ce5d596538604ca63db2a2602997695b2203c9ce9dcfcb47bc3dfe#o0

the rest of those 380 coins mined after 17th of march go to http://cryptexplorer.com/address/udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz   (537 Un remain in there)

----
People continue to mine small amounts. 2.5 Un go to
http://cryptexplorer.com/address/uVq9bKvbYjsD1jDqJ1PGYGR7hXdutHjoFu

later another smaller transaction for less than 6 Un goes to another wallet which only received that and is empty now.

uLpiP has less than 10 Un in it now. Please stop mining to that wallet!

Summary: less than 25 Un remain in all wallets i could find one step from uLpiP after the 17th of march with the exception of udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz which still holds 537 Un today

- this is if nothing escaped my attention. Feel free to look over the data which made jyap available for us yourself a second time if you can find more interesting things in there (https://www.dropbox.com/s/xmdnfhrdp4jl3pn/uLpiP5hE8fPF4iEvhix4HCKTTWfWADZTb5_tx.txt.zip)

jyap, i'll send you 5 Un as soon cryptsy lets me. Thank you for providing that.

so i think it is pretty safe to assume coinex liquidated most of what they had but at least 537 Un is probably still with them. But not in an account that was dumping. The wallet received coins also before the "hack". You can check it yourself:
http://cryptexplorer.com/address/udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz

We now know much better what was going on and what the situation currently is for Un. I think it is kind of a relief for the community to know coinex is probably not left with many more thousand Un to dump - 537Un - we can handle that.

Any word from Bryce W. addressing the wallet problems, yet?  (Guess i can check twit feed....)  I have a Windows v0.9.5.0, and the sych says "0 hours behind," but if you move the cursor over it, it says, "....Processed 451151 of 454081...." but it just added a few blocks; it's just going super-slow, and shouldn't match "0 hours behind" while missing 3k blocks, right?  What do you think?

How will the wallet issues be fixed?  I don't fully understand the processes, here.

could very well be he is selling his last 537Un on mintpal as we speak. We'll know later. Very possible more than one person was involved in the theft if you look at udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz

there is also the remote possibility this wallet could belong to someone who was able to withdraw later. So if this belongs to someone in the community please let me know so we can set the record straight.

edit: but i don't think that is the case since it was withdrawn in amounts of 49 (same as the transactions before that to the other wallet)

So if this belongs to someone in the community please let me know so we can set the record straight.

I'm not on top of the blockchain evidence referred to with this one, but I do know us posters have already stepped on some toes inappropriately and also somewhat damaged investor/trader participation with recent comments.

Nobody can be required to respond, as some people value privacy, discretion, etc., much more than others.  Parties are truly unknown, and we don't even know if they will be reading this thread.  They could be anyone.

(Please disregard, if the blockchain evidence is clear, etc.)

-

My off-the-cuff impression of this account (udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz) is of a small-scale accumulator, but I have no idea.  Sad if that's another inappropriatedly offended person.

-

If anyone doesn't understand the meaning and implication of the term "witch-hunt", please review it.  Thanks.

My off-the-cuff impression of this account (udNPskm7dR7viHsBE1XTjb6jF26676j8Lz) is of a small-scale accumulator, but I have no idea.  Sad if that's another inappropriatedly offended person.

If anyone doesn't understand the meaning and implication of the term "witch-hunt", please review it.  Thanks.

well, we didn't really step on the toe of anybody. The person remains anonymous. It helped us understand uffG was the cryptsy-account of the thief and we were able to understand and proof coins were sent directly from coinex-adress to cryptsy and dumped on that market. We know this now with certainty. I think it was worth the inconveniences.

Those other referred adresses all received Un after the 'hack' occured and actually nobody was able to withdraw as far as i know. Furthermore they received exactly same amounts as another adress.
The 'witch hunt' should come to an end now. All we wanted to know was if there remains stolen Uno to be dumped on the market and how much.
I think we did a good job in uncovering what was to be uncovered.
Let's lay the hammer down on this one, i agree. We know enough now. Sorry for any inconveniences that were possibly caused for investors.

I feel like we've exercised a demon that has been dragging uno down to hell.

We know our coin so much better now. We know how to take the block chain apart, ask questions, find answers.  We now have the tools that anyone can use.  A couple of months ago we had none of this. Look how far uno has come.

If Erundork dumped 7000 uno, what would the price be today if someone came along and bought 7k uno?  All he did was set uno back a few months.

Sure, dumpers gonna dump. And maybe erundork has a few more uno left.  I don't think he can keep this coin down any more if it wants to rise.

Now, I think its time for UNO to start rising for heaven, or the moon... whichever is further away. I predict 004 this coming week, and then... who knows.
