.35 ltc today. I'm optimistic it will be because Un is rising, not because Ltc is declining. Smiley

LTC is falls like a rock while Uno seems very stable. That should also come into play soon.

maybe both ... LTC keeps moving down a little more while Un is moving up ... can be next week (optimistic) ...

Yeah, it's really important to note that the sell off of many cryptos recently has not affected UNO! Grin

Next week is pushing it a bit unless LTC implodes.  And if it does it's likely that uno will reverse course.  At least for now the trend is looking good.  Few coins can say that.

That's definitely the most notable thing about this coin [uno].  Few alts can claim that right now.

I'm not pushing for a super fast run-up, it would be much better to have it slow and steady. People beginning to understand the store of value commodity concept!

I don't know, either this is the longest shakeout and preparation for an epic pump - or LTC really is dying like apparently every other alt out there right now. Tough times to be in crypto for sure.

If you look at the markets the past days, then UNO is like a calm island in a see of storms.

0.9.5 wallet had about 93% of the market not long ago, but that has dropped a bit to just under 80%.
No worries. This is just what Chainz is seeing over 24 hours. actual strength of 0.9.5 might be better. But if you're able to, please leave your 0.9.5 wallet online just to give the network a little a boost.

I think LTC, doge and maybe a few other alts are being prepped to be added to Coinbase and BitPay for use as mass currencies.  The reason is Bitcoin will cost too much for many lower end txs and Bitcoin also has a tax limit issue so eventually they'll need to find a solution anyway.

For this reason I think LTC and doge are being manipulated but then again, BTC is tanking as well so maybe it's just another down wave before the big boom that should come on September.

But it is nice to see UNO buck the downtrend.  It says a lot.

Yes, it's great to buck the trend, but how do we get the word out to those that don't know UNO that we are bucking the trend?

Sadly, I own numerous coins which lack awareness and the solution seems to always require lots of cash.  Either that or some attention getting update - to be unique enough to be considered the first and that's equally hard to pull off.

yes, we really need to find an advocate that is a writer and can pump UNO up for what it is. Or, get listed on an exchange like BTC-e that has fewer well-known strong coins?

people wil take notice once it's traded above 1million cap for some time ... and with the specs and recent history Uno has it can only go up (at least that is what i think). I think the higher the price the higher also the liquidity will be. Ironically.
Uno will be recognized and people will say 'why did i not notice that coin earlier?'
I am not worried at all about 'getting the word out'. Actually if all of twitter would be like "uno, uno, uno" that would be a red flag, Glad it isn't that way Wink
You'll see it's this time no different: the blogs start writing about it once it's up 5x and coindesk will be having an article once it's 10x
It's always like that.

As mentioned by BitcoinCharly i would also prefer a slow and steady rise to keep the risk of a crash minimal. Hope Uno can stay on top of the list for a long, long time once it has arrived there.

There is no limit with Uno. It can be traded at 0.05 or 0.5 - no problem. Even people late to the show will see potential to grow. The specs are really well chosen.

i think it's not impossible for uno to be traded on btc-e one day. If interest really sparks up on a higher cap like i mentioned in the last post they could very well add it.

I agree. We can get Un traded wherever we want to trade it.  That's not to say it will be easy, but it can be done. Making a reasonable argument backed by a business model that shows it will be worth their while... exchanges are businesses, they listen to common sense.

It may be that we don't need 7 or 9 or 11 exchanges with Uno. A coin this rare may be best served by 3 great exchanges, rather than 11 so-so exchanges. As someone who often works as a market marker, I see the danger of spreading rare Un too thin.

The exchange landscape changes so quickly; this time next year, who knows which will be the top one.

The next 6 months will see a huge shake out of coins. Each "batch" of coins spawns a few winners and many losers. Only a handful of Sha256 coins have moved forward and Un is one.  A gigantic number of Scrypt coins will continue to shake out and a few of those winners will carry forward. So it will be with the anon coins, and each algo.  The market is wary of anything that can't hold a community, and weary of unfulfilled "next big thing" promises. Most coins are simply done shortly after they hit exchanges.

Remember a few months ago when Auroracoin was worth more than LTC, and Uno was #50 on coinmarketcap?
Today Auroracoin is #102 and Un is #50.   Just look at the list... Cinni, Sexcoin... on and on. There are dozens, perhaps a hundred coins today that once had market caps that dwarfed Uno, which that have since slid below Uno. I'm not trying to gloat... it's just a fact. Some coins hold their positions longer than others. Bad things could happen to Uno, but I think it's different.

Why is Uno different?  Part of what's cool about Un to me is it's simplicity. When you own 1 un, you know what you've got. Accumulating Uno is a game, isn't it? It's just fun to buy Uno and watch your wallet climb the ranks on the richlist.  It's a club. It's closely held for the most part, like a private corporation; very few shares are publicly traded.  It's exclusive, but friendly. There's only so much, and there's very, very little more of it that will be created. It's the $100 bill of altcoins.  It's a small neighborhood in the nice part of town.  The Uno community isn't a bunch of assholes, and for the most part are long timers who want to see it hold it's place on the crypto landscape. It's rare, a commodity.  It's also my weird nerd hobby and I'm enjoying with it. Why not have fun with your money.

If I want to have crypto to throw away as tips or to fund a loser bobsled team, I'll use Doge, not Uno.
If I want to buy nasty porn on the dark web (I don't, by the way) I'll use Darkcoin.
If I want to appear trendy and hip, I'll use my phone to buy coffee with Bitcoin (although I fear the possible tax implications).
If I want to own something closer to gold that's rare, a fixed known quantity with low inflation and which also fun to accumulate, I'll own uno.

That's just me talking, and I'm one small voice. There's probably lots of other great reasons to own Un.

What do you like about Uno? Why do you hang here?

I've been hanging on with UNO since the near beginning. I've mined and rode the Wolong wave up and back down. I really like the story here because we have exclusivity, but not to the point of stupidity like onecoin or 42coin? A digital store of value...

I really think to get to the point we are all looking for we need what FK said. It's an exclusive coin, it should be on a few big exchanges not 20 little ones.  If we're on the big ones and I think there's more traffic and more chance that various parties will say, "hey, that's a very interesting coin, I've got to pick up 10, 25, or 100 (whatever the number) of them. If you had 200 people pick up even 25 coins each, that would really drive up the price to closer to where it should be. On the big exchanges, UNO doesn't get lost in the shuffle...

Just my 2c

There is something beyond  words , it's like magic surrounding Uno.
