...So I have a right to be pissy when you cheapskates aren't offering sufficient buy support, especially at times I need to make rent.

Smiley  Just being playful.  No worries.

haha, yeah, i'm the asshole who never offers buy support.  I swoop in to clear some sell orders and then vamoose;  I just can't bring myself to leave money on any of these exchanges, ever.
Maybe someday you will learn to love the other side of that harmful trading strategy, and buy up all of the available UNO.

...
And I re-re-re-crunched the numbers last night -- The Top Sixty:

...

But Unobtanium's chart is unique. It is the most stable established crypto of any sizeable market-cap.

m

That's awesome!  I kind-of knew that intuitively, without crunching the numbers.  Wink

Question to everyone:  Don't we have a special name for our UNO blockchain?  I don't remember what it is.  ~Grapevine or Chain Gang or something~?  I think it's from Blazr2 or maybe an IRC chat session.

i wish i knew how to "trade" but i clearly haven't a clue.  I only know how to buy & hold.  but i do feel satisfied every time i take a few more kilos off cryptsy for good

OH!  I read that backwards.  I've observed a lot of crypto trading strategies, and was referring to something totally different, and clearly someone else.  My apologies.

Hah, i was in the same boat with block erupters and uno! The Coinex trollbox sold me on the coin back then. It was fun. I wasn't ballsy enough to sell, or i was too greedy to sell when wolong was hitting hard. Regerts? Naw, still don't have any.

I do agree, that markets are harder to manipulate when they are spread among a number of exchanges. The coin is established though, nearing a year, which is an eternity for most coins. Uno is unique in a lot of ways. We will see what happens!

I stole someones signature  Roll Eyes

I hope it is alright! I saw it and thought it is a cool idea to try to rep uno a little. If ya want me to change it lemme know!

I'm absolutely down with your sig, broski!

Everyone should be promoting the Blue Crypto Awards!

Check this out on my tweet:

If you're on Twitter, it's easy to tweet about the award to get the word out.  Also, give some props to Altcoin Trader for the retweet...15k followers, sweet!

Hah! Thanks man! I did add a little, very very little, to it now to cut down on people seeing the same exaxct sigs on two different accounts, it does look a liiiitle weird... Not much needed though, it was clear and concise to begin with, which is why i stole it. MWAHAHAHA Kiss

The Un blockchain was (and still is in some circles) called the RockChain.

Our main blockexplorer used to be rockchain.info until it broke.

Have you seen Cryptapus' JSwallet hack for UNO? It's pretty cool...  http://cryptap.us/uno/jswallet

Also, check his other cool stuff for Uno. Dice and other fun games, paper wallet, explorer, faucet, vanity wallet, brain wallet, and pushtx.

We're lucky to have to have his interest in Uno.  I'm hoping he's winning enough off of me on Dice to make this worth his while, but just in case he's not you can tip him some Uno:   uQkoQyjd4K2ALowKnZuRMJxaemUWec9N5w

Thanks, Cryptapus!

@ Mintpal: have Tweeted and emailed

@ Un-Ex: after just ten days, we have 8 'rated' traders, and bullion-for-crypto sales happening on two continents! And 'Bene-ex,' where other cryptos and goods are/will be for sale.

AND: 10 UNOs to the first person to figure it out (Guys, I'm half blind; so I spend a lot of time thinking.):
Zanzibar, Hong Kong, the Bahamas, Unobtanium?, Singapore

Click the bear if you would like to help keep UNO on MintPal.  (It's either a bear, or some weird Australian thing that lives near IMZ.  Maybe a marsupial kanga bear or something).

Update:
Lets not let up, but this looks like Moolah might be backing off a little on the delisting fever.

Ans1:  Sometimes I get weird psychic premonitions.  I was just thinking during daytime, today (still Thursday), something like, "Someday we might have our own country." or "Someday we will buy our own country." once everyone figures out how awesome UNO is.  Smiley

Not sure what your riddle is, though.  Ans2:  "North Korea"?

Ans3:  "Tasmania".  Not a country, but now I'm just pandering.

Ans4:  "The best places to store your wealth." or "What are the top 5 stashes of wealth in the world?"

AND: 10 UNOs to the first person to figure it out (Guys, I'm half blind; so I spend a lot of time thinking.):
Zanzibar, Hong Kong, the Bahamas, Unobtanium?, Singapore

m.

Tasmania ... no sure if the right call when pandering to an Aussie ... rumour has that the gene pool is a tiny pool ... not exactly a place of national pride. But I do like the unofficial slogan, "Not everything is cold in Tasmania" Wink

Aren't they all former parts of the British Empire, in particular, fortified Islands/Harbors and Banks.  Offshore is another word.

Also as far as I can tell still very active ports of call.  Lots of shipping activity to this day.  Autonomous money centers.  Hmm ... I like the pattern I see developing.

BTC is already going with Isle of Mann?  I have been ponder this way too. On my list was Hong Kong, Singapore.  Why settle for just one?  Zanzibar got a nice ring to it.  We can get a few Caribbean isles in the mix.  There are some Autonomous zones in Europe that might like UNO too.

But Marsukangabears may have mauled the one who knows the answer to this riddle.

Okay:

One: I will donate the 10 UNO to the Blue Crypto Award.

Two: the answer:

what I really really want to convey is the anthropological novelty of what we are involved in. 'Coin-tribes' are without precedent in human history. Many are failing as we speak.

Hong Kong and the Bahamas and Singapore and (historically) Zanzibar are all examples of places/cultures that are within a greater sphere -- as Hong Kong is to China, and (historically) Zanzibar to Africa -- but are remarkably more dynamic.

Singapore is an outstanding example. It's part of an archepelago of 20,000 islands; but most people don't know the names of a dozen of those other islands because nothin' much is goin' on there. They aren't Singapore!

So, if we understand that Unobtanium can be within the crypto-sphere but doesn't have to just accept the practices of those on the islands around us, we will thrive.

haha, yeah, i'm the asshole who never offers buy support.  I swoop in to clear some sell orders and then vamoose;  I just can't bring myself to leave money on any of these exchanges, ever.

Only keep what you are willing to lose in exchange accounts.  My email and exchange accounts were recently hacked (didn't have 2fa) and I was looted ~ 2.0 BTC worth of UNO and other altcoins.  After I regained control of the accounts I looked at what the attacker sold my 100 UNO for (I had a sell order for them all at 0.01) on Bittrex and lowest was around 0.0035.  I was planning on selling some of the coins I had on the exchanges to add to bankroll for sports betting purposes.  Very glad I heeded earlier advice to remove most coins from exchanges - I could have lost 500+ UNO!    Cryptsy was able to halt withdrawal action after I notified them of the security breach (it was close to the 24 hour window they hold withdrawal action after a password reset is requested) -I gotta give them props for that.  I'm not the least bit discouraged and now have everything 2fa'd up and will continue steady monthly 10 UNO buys and more if I can afford it.  I don't check my accounts every day so buy and hold (off exchange) works for me.

I like this deep philosophical/historical/anthropological understanding.

UNO = very dynamic place&culture within a greater sphere (sha(the orginal and strongest network), then crypto, then money)

Why I am here. UNO seems to be the safe port to anchor in, lots of wise Captains of Crypto sharing their tales.  So sail the Seas of this new enterprise, the fearsome whales, and monsters deep, the waves rising and crashing fast.  And a harbor safe for your treasure tis here on Unobtanium Island.
