right. deposits are back up.

well if that person is gonna clog the orderbook with those sell walls as we move up, i'll just cancel my buys and make them dump on me at a much lower price. geez

psychological barrier that one. Eating that wouldn't be a problem at all if everybody would be chipping away on it. Maybe build more support for a day or two before finally breaking it. Sellpressure is so little that we can move to the side on a straight line on weak support. Wuite amazing. Once the 0.01 is broken you and everyone else will be running for it. Ironically people don't like cheap coins. People want to see walls broken to buy higher.

Guess what happens if you drop it: you get all the folks back in that were dumping on you before. And in the end of the day the sellwall doesn't move. Nothing to gain from dropping from cheap to cheaper.

We can trade to the side for a week. It's unobtanium after all.
Stuff will be bought in the end. If i have to do it i'll buy it in one large order. Then you'll wish you would have loaded up a bit more below 0.01

maybe the sellwall is even fake and would be pulled once you come near it. Maybe it's just there to make you dump a few more coins cheap. You would be playing right into it timpeff.
I am very much for holding that line at 0.009 for now and building more support. Support is currently slowly building up in the depth. Once we have enough we'll be buying through in less than 1 hour. Can't wait to buy that wall tbh.

ok i can see what your saying. if they are gonna play psychological games with precious UNO they are gonna pay a price for it. i'll take care of some of it

edit: ahh there we go can breathe again lol

im just so used to setting them low and getting dumped on. not used to throwing btc at walls

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

lol. See, the sellorders were show. They just vanished into thin air.

What's your bet the 0.01 is fake too?
It'll just vanish once you come close.

So actually the worst thing to do is to dump in front of it before it's not confirmed real sellorder.

Got more buysupport coming in. Give me 45 minutes to 1 hour.

See all the poor little people that were dumping their coins because of fake sellorders? See all those selling cheap and folding under the psychological pressure of a fake sellorder? You think that's going to vanish if you dump in front of it? Hell, no. lol.

Disclaimer: I'm not an expert on this at all! With that out of the way ...

AFAIK generally speaking there are many ways to attach messages to transactions, but most are considered hacks, have been disabled, are simply not supported by any client or rely on thrid party services. But there is one official way I happened to read about a while ago linked here. This was added to Bitcoin core almost exactly one year ago, so I believe Unobtanium should have that capability.

Basically what it does is OP_RETURN allows you to attach up to 80 bytes of data to a transaction. This is not exposed in the client though, you need to use the transaction API directly to read/write those. Maybe Blazr can give you some more information on this topic, wether it is supported in Unobtanium and if there are any plans to expose this functionality to Unobtanium users...
Got that IMZ Mark?  Apearantly, we have to eat prunes to get text pooping out right.  Huh *[scratches head]  Grin

It would be soooo cool to write messages on the UNO blockchain!!!

let's build more support before pushing through.

haha timpeff, seen that? lol. these are rats. All of them just gone. *poof*
lol

Friendly reminder: In Uno every sellorder bigger than 20 coins is a fake trollwall  Wink
The real sellorders are all micro-orders below 1 coin each - 5 coins max.

From 0.01 to 0.011 aren't even 20 coins on the book for sale. Guess why and what role that fake sellorders play Wink
Uno will be worth much, much more.

Random Friday thoughts, in no particular order...

Expect walls from latecomers who want to buy low. It's the only way they know how to get into Uno. The quantities are just not out there.

Remember what Wolong had to do to enter Uno. To get a significant quantity, he had to buy the book up to .08374.

I would be so happy to see my low buy orders filled one last time.

Even at .01, UNO is a mere penny to a Bitcoin.  Call me crazy, but I think Uno could be a 5 cent piece (nickel) to a Bitcoin, probably before Uno's 2nd Birthday.

The longer it sits there, the sexier that Uno sell wall looks.

I look at the some of the "worst" trades that I've made since last summer.  Erundook dumping into my high .005 5 btc buy wall....  Screwing around on MintPal, buying their book up to a crazy .006 (nearly a 100% buy up at the time).  When it comes to Uno, my worst trades usually become some of my best trades, eventually.

Anticipating the next block reward halving in May, 2015.

And finally....

I don't know.  I haven't seen a message in an UNO explorer.
You know who would really know about this? That guy (sorry forget his name) is managing Florincoin. They do this well.
You might also reach out to Cryptapus, since he runs a reliable Uno block explorer and could probably tell you more about what's in that blockchain.

24 hours open: 0.0077  (days lowest point)
24 hours close: 0.0095 (days highest point)

@FK that sellorder you highlight there could also have been a whale trying to put out the fire his prepump caused.
If natural rise and stupid panicseller or prepump of a whale and failed effort to put it out, we'll never know for sure.

Now that i think about it i might have to move my sellorders up another time.

0.2 btc for 1 uno is very possible by the second birthday especially if more people want in on it.

Uno is now Top 40 and one of the few coins actually rising today. Best horse right now is uno, no doubt. But not since a few days. Since the past 4 months!

about fake sellwalls: we don't need them this low. If someone comes late he will have to pay more. There was time to buy for a whole year now. I have zero understanding about those latecomer practices and i think the 0.01 wall should be bought in one order in case it's fake order too. If you want coins you put up a buyorder, not a sellorder. Those jerks trying to choke off every coin make me sick. They should buy like everyone else or we buy their shitty walls. Just like that. Uno is still way under value. They should just buy it up and on the way take a break or two, catch some shakeouts or ask at in-house-exchange for a few hundred or even a ton. But fake sellorders are the last thing we need or want to see right now.

How can someone not have enough? There were just 800 being dumped 2 days ago. Another day before that 1k. And all that shit on the 0.007 last week. If someone is too stupid to buy and needs fake sellwalls i really don't know what to think. Instead of catching stuff in front of a 0.0095 sellwall he could have bought at 0.007 a few days ago. There aren't any excuses for those fake walls, at least i don't see any.
If you want uno: just buy it. Don't fuck around. Price is not going lower.

Next week will be more expensive than this week and all the latecomer has acomplished will be: having lost his fake sellwalls.

There is 400 to buy to 0.01 right now. That's like 0.25% of the whole supply. If you can't buy those today don't come and put up fake walls tomorrow.

Prices are still very low. Currently, UNO is the only coin in the top 50 where anybody with 4-5 btc could get on the rich list.  Roll Eyes

Uno in Top 40 is in much better company.

@people buying - wait, not so fast! My deposit is so slow. lol. Take care of support at least. Think about retracement too. Support is still weak in the 8s

@Korlic, exactly that. It's so cheap we need to take care not to loose the miners and that jerk puts up fake sellwalls. He must be a noob from wallstreet with no idea about the technical side of things and also be ignorant of the history of the coin. No other explanation for those fake sells.
Also: you don't work against the market like that. Respect the market, don't kill it. Control that greed.

if the walls were from a friendly guy amongst us trying to keep it down from going bananas and crashing:
move them up earlier next time. Always leave enough space between wall and marketlevel so people can play in the spread. No need to let the market approach the sellwall before pulling it. Move up early next time. Causes much less tourbulences too. Thanks.
Always keep out of reach but close enough to see. 5% above marketlevel is too close. More like 10% to 15% is good.
A wall moving in the distance will cause much less discussions than one directly impacting the price for over a day.
If you want to sell: break it down and spread out over the book. Much better too.
No need to surpress the price and cause people to dump precious coins. These sellwalls don't grow the community. They keep new buyers away and make people who already have it dump it low. Coin with no adoption/community is worth nothing. Fake sellwalls very close to marketlevel benefit nobody.

support, support guys.

Before buying a coin in the 9s you should at least order one in the 8s - common sense, isn't it?

wait for deposits. Cryptsy has issues. Vern is drunk in vegas and things are cloged up. They need a bit to sort it out.  Wink

If you give Cryptsy some time to fix deposits you'll get more buysupport. Just don't rush it or support some yourself too.

is ok, they get it sorted right now.

for people having missed out on the live action:

all the wall did was choking off volume  Roll Eyes

Stop manipulating it, let it move natural. If you think it could crash because everyone forgets support while chasing it up: dump them 1 or 2 coins on the low support or just start selling them a few coins. But static, fake walls that vanish 1% before being eaten don't help anyone.

That healthy dumping of very low amounts on the thin support is already happening. No need for fake walls that move late like that last one. Shit like that can crash things on accident, so don't do it.
If i remember correctly wolongs pump also crashed at a fake wall. So don't do such games in uno.

a little help: real support starts at 0.0086 currently. Can't chase it past 0.01 on that support. Needs to build up a little first.

a little help: real support starts at 0.0086 currently. Can't chase it past 0.01 on that support. Needs to build up a little first.
Added a little support from 0091 and back

is the sellwall real or is it not? We'll know when we get to nibble it Wink
For now i'd recommend to ignore it until proven real Wink

Support building nicely. This uno market in action is a beauty. Retracement everyone was waiting for didn't even pierce the 0.009. Was there a retracement? lol

Great coin.
