How will Unobtanium market react to this possible BTC price drop over the short term?  I make monthly UNO buys and would welcome a cheaper BTC to buy UNO.  The question is - will UNO supply and demand dynamics cause a drop in UNO price along with BTC?  We've all seen what upticks in demand do to the UNO trade.  I'm content to steadily buy and hold, I mean hodl.  

guess what there is no straight answer (else we'd all be rich)

bearish BTC tends to be reinvested in promising ALTs ... hello UNO!

BUT

bullish BTC tends to cause short investors to dump ALTs aka buy BTC

BUT

I can't even say "tends to" because ALTs are about 1year old, there no much data yet.

BUT

non-inflationary / rare / fair / and asset backed

that's going beat BTC anyday ... bear or bull BTC markets ...  I'll hodl me uno.

Un is up 40-50% in the last 30 days or so. Cheap Btc is usually a bullish sign for the price of Uno.

30 days in Crypto can be like a year. Lets just quick look back:

• A lot of Uno moved to stronger hands in past 30 days.
  Block reward halved
  Uno faced up the MintPal realities
  Added a new btc market at Bleutrade
  Added a shiny new USD market at Bleutrade
  Celebrated Uno's birthday and got a little attention
  Coaex, an important metals dealer come into UNO
  Started trading hedges
  Saw a XRP market added on Cryptsy
  Good activity on the in-house exchange
  Many of us bought silver from Bigspag and saw it delivered.
  Awarded the BlueCrypto Award, a community effort
  Got interested in Unobtanium beer
  Showed our appreciation to to Blazr2
  Rose from the 60's to the 40's on Coinmarketcap
  Welcomed new people to the community
  There are more trusted traders in the Uno community than ever.

What else did I miss? All this is just one month in the life of UNO.

If bitcoin is going into the 200's, then I'm very bullish.  It will be intersting to see if Uno will again cling to USD as BTC falls.

There is very little Un on the markets at this moment. I like to see the books thicker than this, on both the buy & sell side so it's easier for folks to come and go without making huge waves.  I am partly to blame here, having only buy orders up.

Uno 'clinging to USD' -- fascinating. It's what the Hedges are/will be about: becoming expert in how Uno reacts to various influences.

Mr. Transactional has been stymied by the Bastardry Tax; but the situation is changing. Bought meat and vegies with Uno today.

Hey, guys, let's keep things interesting....Everyone's been doing such a great job, but since I've just sent this to one of our awesome community members, I figure, why not share it with everyone?  Maybe someone doesn't know the secret method?  (Once you've tried it, it gets easier and easier!)


HOW TO POST AN IMAGE ON BCT


One awesome, safe, old, established, very useful piece of programming is called irfanview from irfanview.com.  Veery nice.  (It's free, and I've donated to them, before.)

If you have an IBM-compatible machine (not LINUX or ICraps), then you can use the [fn] (function) and [prt sc] (print screen) or equivalent to get any snapshot of whatever is on your screen, minus the cursor.

Then, you open irfanview and go to menu --> [edit], then [paste], and it drops in the image.  Then, if you can crop the image with a cursor rectangle and go to menu --> [edit], then [crop selection] while still with the cursor's rectangle up, and your image is now smaller (easier to upload, maybe cuts out private information, too.)  Play around.  Remember to "Save" your cropped image!

Open an account on imgur.com and upload your images from your computer that you want to post on this forum.  It's free, of course.

Open account, click on your handle name, there's something for 'Upload Images' and then 'from computer', and go to the file directory in your computer where you've saved it, and upload.  Once image/images are uploaded onto imgur.com, a fun website, find the naked URL code for each image, "http:\\... .jpg" or whatever (some images may be .png or .mpeg, or whatever,) which you will use to post on this forum.

Once you have your imgur.com image http internet path, you can post it in a BCT thread by clicking on the.... ...Hmm, ....See the buttons for B bold and I italics in the button toolbar up top when you 'reply' and start to write a post?  It's the button under the I italics - "Insert Image".  You get:  [ img ][ /img ]  ...And then you just place your path between the two terms, which looks something like this:  [ img ]http://www.walls-inc.net/wallpapers/2013/02/Dallas-Cowboys-cheerleaders-1080x1920.jpg[ /img ]  

(I had to add extra spaces for you to read the code, or even in this message, it would just be an image, like this:

The coolest thing of all about this project is that we're finished for the year, (I still will be writing down my notes on the 'Award thread,) and one odd goal of the project that I never mentioned was that, if I was to be the manager, it would all be done....

V500 did a TON of work trying to get the word out on social media; really did so much!

FallingKnife helped out, too, in different ways, and the three of us made decisions and stuff, especially early-on, trying to decide which direction to move in.

A whole lot of other people helped out, too, and everyone who voted in the 1st public vote on a single blockchain in (a simplified) model of a public election can always tell their grandkids that they were a part of history!!!
