I predict that the first half of the year will be harder than most people think. There is some fatigue among coiners. The euphoria of coin-a-minute is subsiding. The price-cooling since the 65% lift that started in April has been a psychological low blow.

We remain in the ‘betwixt-and-between’:
commercial adoption and technical development are goin’ like a brushfire; but Joan and John Busywesternlifestyle haven’t got around to downloading, synching, and backing-up wallets.

Coiners are free to speak of Investor Guy puttin’ 100 Big M’s into Uno. I personally will be entirely satisfied if Uno hold .08 ‘til the pre-halving price-rise begins.

Bullion will drop in price/stay steady, which will be fortuitous for the TTs setting up as DVC coiners. As an investment, bullion must wait for GFC Two to overcome the downward-pressures of QE-driven dementia on world markets.

It behooves all Uno community members to understand more about the GFC. It has far more influence on crypto prices than many (younger?) crypto folk understand.

Japan’s latest round of QE is a fantastic development, real desperation stuff; but it could keep the markets junkied-up for – Heaven help us – six or eight more months.

The ECB’s position – the ‘Draghi put’ – is mysteriouser and mysteriouser, a real wild-card. Watch it closely.

Conclusion:
Approach the coming months as a barren stretch. Work in the community. Have reasonable expectations. Strive to keep a steady flow of funds coming into Unobtanium – either personally or by inducting others. Undertake ‘tread-water trading’ to keep volume up.

FK, Ian and I are gonna test the waters of crypto-fiat trading -- but with this new mob, 'Independent Reserve,' here in Oz. We can't even get 2FA on our Cryptsy accounts 'cause we're not in the U.S. This might give you some insight into why we seem so interested in 'alternative systems.'

Just gettin' our hands on Bitcoin at a fair price has been a problem since day one. Don't believe the Coindesk hype. The Australian Government (and banks) is hostile to cryptos. We paid a 14% cut on our last buy.

I am unashamed about naggin' about this: finding a fluent Mandarin or Cantonese speaker to organise Operation Outreach should be a development priority.

Brilliant.  Didn't even think about this one.  Go to the YB community for interested (already in crypto) parties.

Can we put the Korean outreach onto your shoulders M?  Tell us about that coin some too.

Is the peseta coin for real?  
What about the dutch coins?
Does aurora even have some actual on the iceland ground followers?

And the big one ... does India have a coin yet?  the sha256 bitRaam is all i've heard.  there is also a Spanish NBE being mined.

Am looking into another language base, market is not clear on their coin of choice yet, perhaps I'll make them one

Well, B.N., approaching other communities is a tactic that would have to be approached very delicately. Too easy to get your loyalties tangled!

But I have been keepin' an eye out particularly for a connection to Chinese speakers, an enormous dynamic tech-savvy group lookin' to 'get out of' their national currency, and they have economically powerful 'outposts' all over the place ('diaspora').

The quality of the English in the YB text is so good . . .  they just may not need us. Nevertheless, if we can find something that they need from 'our side,' then there's a chance of mutually beneficial support.

I'd be lookin' at other avenues: expatriate community groups, international university students; and later, import-export companies. I would also try to contact throughout Asia the staff rooms of English schools that have 'native speaker' teachers. Those guys might have both local connections and an interest in remitting funds.

There is a large number of 'country coins'; but they're pretty much fizzers except perhaps YB and Mona.

Moreover, there are many many effectively bi-lingual Germans and Spaniards and Portuguese. Think moreso of 'unbanked language groups.' Dari, for example, is spoken by Australian-Afghanis around here (and they 'speak bullion' too!). They would definitely benefit from crypto remittance opportunities.

Finally . . . it has puzzled me for ages that android users haven't turned up in numbers in the crypto community. They're tech-obsessed. They buy stuff on-line. We've had android wallets for over a year.

fizzers coins provide fertile ground for show casing a stable/sound coin and recruiting the best of the bilinguals found there.

The 'diaspora' communities is a HUGE idea ... once Un establishes fair average daily volume (and market cap +$2M) ... I move that we focus a great deal of effort and 1-2 years of continually pushing on this concept.  This could be one of the pillars to building a great house under the roof of non-inflation and the the foundation of assetbacked.
