Going cashless doesnt necessarily mean to use bitcoin.

Government wont consider bitcoin since it is decentralized which they cant control and not to mention the high volatility.

There are many existing payment method nowadays and government are not relying on crypto alone.

Yes, the government only wants to impose a currency that they can make and control its circulation in order to control the country's economic conditions. Imagine if a decentralized cryptocurrency becomes the main currency of a country, it will take a long time to find the ideal price formula for the coin and also here big investors will benefit greatly because they will get big profits as an early adopter, because they get information about official coins government in this country before anyone else.

A decentralized currency is perfect for those of us who need an alternative payment method that is simpler and safer

+1 in this because there are so many online money that can be use aside from bitcoin and altcoins,there are others that offers similar option .

but of course there are other governments now that accept Bitcoin,maybe you are saying that majority of the world?
