I think it's possible, 11 out of 38 games it's possible for Arsenal to win the EPL this year. Arsenal still have a chance to catch Chelsea or Man City points because they are only 6 points different. If Arsenal can win against Chelsea and Man city or the teams above them they can get the top spot.

After reading your analysis and prognosis, this made me laugh out loud; are you serious? Or you could simply be flattering Arsenal fans. True, Arsenal does not have the squad or a title-winning coach to compete for the league title; you don't expect a team that struggles to qualify for the Europa League every season to win the league; they have been out of the top four since 2017 and have never improved enough to return to the top 4. Yes, they are undoubtedly having their finest match run, but every other team goes through something similar at some point. Class is permanent whereas form is only temporary.

But I also doubt Arsenal can win against Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City with the players Arsenal have. Also don't forget West Ham are in the top 5 now other teams have to watch out for it.

In football, they may beat all of these clubs and yet not make the top 4 or win the league; beating top teams does not guarantee that you will beat lower teams.

after Unai Emery called off the magpies last week, newcastle united has presented a new coach. Eddie Howe comes from afc bournemouth and gets a contract until summer 2024.

after newcastle replaces the new coach, can newcastle rise from adversity, and manage to get out of the relegation zone, because we know the english epl league is very hard, and many rivals, many great players in the english league, and top coaches, and great clubs, hopefully there are changes made by newcastle, and able to compete in epl..

I rate Eddie Howe somewhat highly but it would depend on how successful they are in acquiring the right players during the January transfer window.  It’s gonna be a hard fought relegation scrap with Newcastle getting just 5 points in 11 matches.  It’s gonna be fun to watch and follow.

A big test for Arteta, who have been in excellent form since the last international break, going undefeated and performing admirably for the most part. I'm interested to see how they perform against a big side after the break. Last Saturday, Liverpool were defeated by West Ham United. Will Arsenal maintain their unblemished record against Liverpool? I have my doubts.

Although Leicester City has not been in great form this season, this game will undoubtedly be thrilling because both teams always give it their all everytime they play. Does anyone have any updates on Lukaku and Werner's injuries? Both Lukaku and Werner appear to be ready to play after the international break, as their presence will be greatly needed against an experienced Leicester defensive line. Although the Chelsea have been winning games and scoring a good number of goals in their last 4 games without strikers, but hey will have a greater advantage with Lukaku and Werner playing.

^  I don’t think it should be considered a test for Arteta.  Arsenal vs West Ham or Arsenal vs Brighton should be a big test for them after their resurgence.  Liverpool is just too good of a club for them.

But yeah...  It’s nice to see Arteta having a winning streak.

Edit:  Just checked the table.  Wow Arsenal is 5th in the league???  I take it back.  You’re right, huge test for Arsenal.

Firstly, I am a fan of Chelsea and West Ham and for the other guys I also suggest that they say who is a fan of which club and if JollyGood has time he could create a list on the first page of this thread ^{[username /favorite]}, (this is not so important, I'm sure in a couple of weeks I will understand who has which favorite club). Secondly, I'm still looking at Newcastle and thinking about including their matches in my multi-bets on an ongoing basis, (not because they have a lot of money, but because they are led by a man known for his attacking tactics). In short, guys, from now on I'm here with you for a long time ..

Usually you wouldn't rank the game between Liverpool and Arsenal that highly, but interestingly Liverpool is struggling right now. City and Chelsea more or less deliver permanently so Klopp knows that this should definitely not be a loss or it is going to be a very tough season. However, the struggle might really have been temporary as their team is incredibly strong not only on paper. Right now I think that Salah, Mane and Firmino is among the strongest offense trios in the world. It will be an interesting game and will also tell a lot about the direction that Liverpool is going to take this season.

This is a big match which considering who is available for the champions league zone. Arsenal is a team that got bullied at the beginning, always lost, inconsistent, and has bad formation. But now is worth for counted as a competitor's premier league champions, this is the best team I have ever seen with consistency. When Liverpool doesn't have the strategy how to hold the movement ESR (Emile Smith Rowe), that possibly the will got lose and tie. I think Klopp must add a defender to be 4, withdrawing midfielder to a bit back, (4-3-3)

JollyGood is doing a great job here, and we've discussed several times how to make this a better communication thread free of spammers who don't understand the game and spam here with pointless debates without facts just to meet their weekly post quota, and yes, I've noticed that Jolly has been inactive on the thread recently, and I believe that when he returns, the place will be clean.

I'm still curious as to how you became a Chelsea and West Ham fan at the same time, as they are one of our main London rivals. BTW, I'm a Chelsea fan and have never hidden it here or on other threads, despite my best efforts to be neutral in my analysis. I've persuaded Jollygood to tell me who his favorite club(s) are several times, but he refuses. He claims to be a neutral analyst, but I have the impression he supports Manchester United or Liverpool.

It seems like Chelsea will still continue to maintain their lead after the results of the games at next weekend. In the EPL, the priority is on the score difference when two teams have equal points. Chelsea are three points ahead of Manchester City now. Even though Manchester City defeat Everton and Chelsea lose to Leicester, Chelsea will stay as the leader. This is on the condition that Manchester City don't beat Everton by a very big goal difference of course. 

And I don't think that Chelsea will lose against this weak Leicester. I'm favoring them to win this game. And I've no doubt that Manchester City will defeat Everton by a satisfying result. Actually, they defeated Everton by 5-0 in their last home game in the EPL. But now I expect a win by one or two-goal difference.

Yes but Chelsea is in an awesome position anyway. Their biggest strengths this season is not only the fact that they score a lot of goals (which they didn't in the past), but that their defense is so strong that they are very confident if they score the first goal. In many games one single goal is enough for them to take it home.

For the weekend ahead, the thing that I'm most curious about is whether Arsenal will maintain their spectacular rise in the Premier League. I'm fascinated by their incredibly well recovery period even having Mikel Arteta as their manager. It looks like their primary problem wasn't the manager. If I'm not wrong, they didn't make very deep changes in their lineup and game plan. The problem seemed to be more like an in-team one. Their morale was down a lot. And now, it is great to see Arsenal at top places in the league table after some years. They have a very tough match ahead vs Liverpool away. Unfortunately, I don't feel very positively for Arsenal as for this match. After so many weeks, I think that Liverpool will make them taste the loss in the league.

Are you really serious talking about arsenal as a direct rival to Manchester city, Even if arsenal are stable than their normal selves they can't challenge for the title this season, you have not talk about Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United even west ham are even a better team than arsenal for the title. Bringing in Antonio Conte gives spurs a little edge than the so called arsenal

Manchester United's next game that is against Watford away is closing in. There are six days left for the game and it looks like Manchester United president is determined to give one more chance to Ole. We'll see if it will be the right choice or not. I don't know if Manchester United also can make a huge comeback in the table like Arsenal have done so far with the same manager, Arteta. But I'm not sure about Ole as I don't like his game plan much. But it feels like they will defeat Watford by a satisfying score like 3-0 or 3-1. So that means they can leapfrog Chelsea or Liverpool team with those kids Smith Rowe and saka? What do you mean? that arsenal team is no better that David Moyes side or even the Manchester United side that people are complaining about,I think Arteta is doing a great job but I don't think that team can compete just yet, maybe if they are giving the right transfer at winter and summer then maybe you can come up with this kind of talks.

I would agree that they are not fully ready to compete with the big guys for a whole season, but when you check out the table right now they are the only team that didn't take a loss for the last 5 games. All other teams at the top of the table did. That's a good sign for them. Whether they can confirm that over the course of the next couple of weeks or not, we will soon find out.

That is a phenomenon that also surprised me with other players to be honest. They either play good for their club and bad for the national team, or vice versa. That was also something even Messi was blamed for, who couldn't perform as strong in the national team. It might just be the case that the players in the national team better fit Locelso's style of playing.
