Leeds United 3-1 Brighton and Hove Albion

RESULT:

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-3 West Bromwich Albion

Well done and a big congratulations to West Brom, they took a shock early lead then were 2-1 down at half time. They scored 2 second half goals to win the game and take all 3 points against a very stron Wolves side. I never saw this score coming at all in the West Midlands derby.

West Brom manager Alllardyce is starting to turn things around, they are now 5 points from safety. Wolves need to go back to the drawing board to ask why they lost this match.

West Ham United 1-0 Burnley

It was a match to forget but Antonio scored the all important goal after 9 minutes as West Ham move up to 8th in the EPl table. Burnley sit one place above the relegation zone but are 3 points clear.

Fulham 0-1 Chelsea

A boring match, not much going but Fulham did very well holding out after Robinson got sent off and they played so much of the game with just 10 men then conceded in the 78th minute which is when Mount scored for Chelsea. Some pressure is off Lampard but I think he will be sacked before the end of the season.

Leicester City 2-0 Southampton

Leicester leapfrog Liverpool to move up to 3rd place in the EPL table just 1 point behind league leaders Manchester United. They have played a game more than both Manchester United and Liverpool.

RESULT:

Sheffield United 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur


Tottenham were leading 0-2 at half time so full credit to Sheffield United to pull a goal back but Ndombele scored and ensured all 3 points went to Tottenham. Sheffield United still fighting hard but their record in abysmal and they are certainties to get relegated. Tottenham move up to 4th place in the EPL table.

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United


Not an exciting match to watch, both sides had chances to score and to win it but there are fundamental facts at play here for both teams.

For the first time since 2005 Liverpool have not scored a goal in 3 consecutive EPL games but with Salah, Mané and Firmino something is wrong. Liverpool have scored 1 goal in the past 4 EPL games. Liverpool have won just 3 EPL games from their previous 9 EPL games.

Manchester United have been unbeaten away in the EPL since they lost at Liverpool a year ago and now have 16 away EPL games without defeat, just one short of their EPL record of 17 away games.

One first half and three second half goals helped Manchester City beat a stubborn Crystal Palace team 4-0 and they move up to 2nd place in the EPL table with a game in hand.

The two Manchester clubs are on fine form after a doggy start earlier this season it still suprising how Manutd are leading the table by this time of the season. Few months ago the two teams were in total shambles this is how important it is to have a  tactical manager who can turn situation around. It's going to be the most unpredictable season ever.

Manchester City 2-0 Aston Villa

Two very late second half goals finally broke Villa resistance and with that win Manchester City went to the top of the EPL table for the first time this season.



Fulham 1-2 Manchester United

Manchester United come back from a goal down again to win. They have played 10 EPL away games and won 8, they move back to the top of the EPL table by leapfrogging Manchester City.

RESULT:

Liverpool 0-1 Burnley

Liverpool lose in the EPL at Anfield for the first time since April 2017. They went in to this game with a 68 game unbeaten home record but ended up losing today by a determined Burnley side.

It is hard to believe but Liverpool now have gone 4 EPL games without scoring that is the longest since the year 2000.

Liverpool have taken just 3 points from a possible 15 points in their previous 5 EPL games that means they have drawn 3 and lost 2 from their previous 5 EPL games.

Something is wrong at Liverpool, Klopp is losing his touch he even had a row with Burnley manager Dyche at half-time. They are just 6 points behind league leaders Manchester United so there is enough time for Liverpool to make a case to get back to the top because they are just at the half way stage for this season after playing 19 EPL games.

How fast the tide has turned. A few weeks ago it looked like Liverpool would march through in the championship. And now they are six points behind first place Man United and only five points ahead of Chelsea who are in eighth place. Since the Mo Salah controversy, Liverpool has stopped performing.

Liverpool certainly have fallen from those very big heights, the tide has turned very fast just like you mentioned. I do not think they were going to stroll to win the EPL title again because the chasing pack were always just a few points behind but they were favourites.

Now, just like their former player and now television commentator Jamie Carragher stated after the game was over, Liverpool might not even make the top 4 finish and might not qualify for the Champions League.

Liverpool need to score goals fast so they get a confidence boost otherwise their season will end in disaster.

The table has not turned that bad yet Liverpool are still going to compete for the league, they have been controlling all the games they lost it just that the goals ain't coming, the missing piece is Diogo Jota dude knows how to get the goal when less expected. I am looking at everything that people are posting here including what you have to say 

I thought Liverpool would bounce back with a much needed win but never thought they would lose to Burnley but you did warn that it was wrong to conclude Liverpool would score 4 goals.

If things do not improve then the way the game is currently played in the modern era where short terms success is important then Klopp might walk away from Liverpool at the end of the season to find a new challenge.

Aston Villa are just five points behind Liverpool but have played two games less which means if they win their games in hand Aston Villa are in a Champions League 4th place position and just 5 points behind current league leaders Manchester United. Excellent work by Aston Villa manager Dean Smith. Newcastle United fall to 16 place in the EPL table just 2 places and 7 points above the relegation zone.

Current FA Cup holders Arsenal are out of the competition after losing to Southampton.

Chelsea are through to the FA cup next round after a dominant victory at home against Luton. A Tammy Abraham hat trick was all Chelsea needed to seal the win.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa really needs a confidence boost, he simply seems like he wants to leave because he feels he is not wanted at Chelsea. Anyway with all that pressure on Lampard and so many rumours about him being replaced as Chelsea manager he needed this win. Well done to Luton Town for the spirited fight but eventually they were going to lose this match.
