I brought this issue up here so that the community can jointly peruse it and make dissecting contributions if it's a positive or negative on the image of Bitcoin.

There is a Bitcoin investment scheme called “Bitcoin Revolution South Africa” which recently claimed that President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa is one of its endorsers, in addition to personalities like billionaire Patrice Motsepe, rugby star Naas Botha, politician Pravin Gordhan and comedian Trevor Noah and their pictures splashed on the alleged scam site. These are heavy weights in that country with huge followership and such an allegation shouldn't be viewed lightly.

My second question is this: Will this development further entrench the idea of Bitcoin in the minds of their fans or dispel their interest?
