Great news! And the perfect timing with the start of EURO 2020. I love sports betting and if the odds are OK, I will probably stick to Betfury. Too bad that it doesn't count to mine BFG tokens but you can't have it all.

I don't know the exact reason why they decided to convert all cryptocurrencies to USD or EUR on their new sports betting platform, but it looks like Betfury set the minimum bet of 0,1 USD/EUR for sports events. Maybe they did it because of some legal restriction.

I am sure that will get better, it is just something that will take some time. I have to say when it comes to design, I haven't seen any crypto sportsbook that is really as good as the fiat ones, I have seen some fiat ones that are by far better than any other crypto sportsbook, don't know the reason because design and currency are not related stuff so there is no excuse for crypto sportsbooks to be not as good looking as the fiat ones but that is the case but that is for my taste, since design is something objective that means there could be some people who like it this way.

In any case, having their own token and now adding sportsbook is also another way that could earn some money for the dividends and I am very happy about it, that is not going to change anytime soon, it is really a great situation and I really like it this way all in all.

I think for small bettors they can use this platform because they are accepting at the min of $0.1 per bet. Also, it is not included in earning your BFG tokens so don't count that you will get their token by placing bets on their sports.

Also, it seems there's error again on their site. I was logged out and when I tried to log in and enter the authentication code, it says error. Will just wait for few hours and try again.

I did not receive my stake today there was a server error but after that, there were no rewards to withdraw, the server could be overload or they are configuring something, after so many months this is the only time that I did not receive my reward, I hope there's no issue tomorrow, I can give up today's rewards.

I don't really know why anyone would like this system - it doesn't make much sense because it forces you to also bet on the exchange rate with any sports bet you make as a player. For example, lets say that BTC was at $30000 and you placed a $30000 (1 BTC) bet at 2x odds. Say this bet won a week later, but BTC shot up to $60000. Your payout would be $60000 at the new exchange rate (I confirmed this with live support), so you would get 1 BTC in return, meaning you don't get any real profit. Obviously it can go the other way around (if BTC dropped to $15000, you'd get a 4 BTC payout) and maybe it'll balance out on average but I still don't like it. The Stake model (show balance in USD, but actually place bets in BTC values) or the PlayBetr model (deposit crypto, converts to USD when you deposit, converts back to crypto at the current exchange rate when you withdraw) all make much more sense if your site insists on USD balances.

For bets at higher odds, it likely doesn't make too much of a difference. However, for sports bets on low odds (ex 1.03x) you end up betting way more on the exchange rate than on the actual event.

Some are more accustomed to USD, some EUR so it's always nice to have something extra. While the wagers are in crypto, the values are easier to remember in fiat.

If you ask support, they'll tell you that it's incorrect - it isn't stored as BTC, and instead as USD/EUR.

Sports Betting Grand Opening

Great to see BetFury adding sports betting and it's always good to have competition especially in MMA events, so it would be interesting if BetFury can organize some prediction competition and promotion for Bitcointalk community with free bets.
Adding LIVE betting for main and co.main event sis one thing I am looking and I can't find that in other crypto betting websites, so that would be great to have in Betfury.
It would be nice to add other MMA organizations markets for betting like Bellator and PFL.


I tried using this free box from Betfury and I can't withdraw any coins with this new hCaptcha word system and I tried so many times so I don't know what could be issue here.
Image hCapthas worked just fine when I used them on other websites.
