Why build a fancy Ship when the instruction is to build an Ark?

The instruction is to build an Ark that will survive "the flood" not a fancy Ship filled with  jacuzzi, clubs, pools etc.. built for the moneybags, dictators, tyrants, and elites

Can your fancy ship survive the flood? Can you tell what will happen in the future?
Can your moneybags and dictators guide you safely through the flood? Can the blind guide the blind?
Build the Ark exactly as instructed, not  how you think is the best. We will use only an Ark, anything beside that is for those who think they are wise.

You can't steal from GOD to serve satan. Every idea from HIM must be used as HE instructed. Sorry for those who do otherwise

The flood did happen - relative to the weak minds at the time, anyway.  It was hardly global.

To the then primitive man, that was "the world" or whatever. Yeah it happened in Iraq. Man eventually learned the hard way to construct canals and make the flash floods more controlled, cities emerged, lords from city states fought each other, eventually one power consolidated and that later would become the Babylon Empire.

Some people might think the scriptures are pure noise, but that was one way the Jews kept at least a tiny little bit of human history, from their point of view.
