Are there escrow options available atm that does not cost a fortune but can be trusted by both parties ?

There is a list of users who offer escrow service. I will update with the link.

Members in this list* are trusted and reputable in providing escrow services since a long time. Check service topic for each one to see how fees are calculated. Note that it won't cost you a fortune if the escrowed amount is not that big, however for big amounts you can always negotiate the rate with the escrow .

If you're dealing with somebody from the forum's, then the lists given above should do the job. I doubt anyone from here would agree on trading using a third party platform anyway.

If not, you can check Bitrated. The site is legit, but like I've said in some of my posts before, I'm not sure whether the "most trusted users" are still active.

I mainly needed this for my discord for which i will check bit rate but its not a bad idea to do it here as well. I might do that too and use low trusted escrows

An additional reference to you, OP. It has fees, links, PGP keys, etc. I’m not sure how updated it is, but at least you could try to PM some of them if they are available or something.

Not sure which of the escrow providers you're referring to but in general, by doing that you're risking more instead of protecting both sides...

That list is too outdated, last update was 2016 and some of them isn't active anymore.

This exposure of post might trigger to scammers to take action, be careful to those who sent you a PM from unknown people on discord, or pretending that they are trusted escrow in the forum or pretending they are the real account one of the trusted escrow here. I suggest PM them directly into their Bitcointalk account for the assurance that the one you talk about isn't the impersonator.

I am planning to sell via OTC cryptocurrency tokens that are not available through public sale anymore and have not hit exchanges yet. I will be using a trusted escrow from the list shared here earlier.  What i want to know is

1. If its allowed to offer such a server here on forums or not ?
2. If it is, Shall i create 1 thread and just update it when i have new tokens for sale or shall i create a new thread for every token
3. If its allowed is this something that the community will be interested in ?

1. Yes you are allowed to sell any tokens you have.
2. Yes, marketplace (Altcoins)
3. IMO, why some have to buy a token which doesn't have any real value yet!

Like people buy what they expect to hit exchanges and make them decent returns.

You'll probably have a hard time finding a trusted escrow provider that'll handle such a deal.

Since the whole idea/procedure is pretty much the same with the exception of the tokens in question, I would suggest sticking with a single thread.

Since it's something that'll happen in the future, a lot could still go wrong ^{[e.g. A value that's a lot lesser than what you/them initially expected]} so I think there will be a lot of uncertainties surrounding your soon to be service on this forum.

You can't say that project will give decent returns because no one will ever know what will be the price.And how can you assure that tokens will be listed on exchanges soon?

Since he is planning to sell token/coin, I think it's verifiable easily and there will be few escrow services who will help to complete the deal as there is no chance. But OP will definitely have hard time find buyer for such coin/token  I know how hard it is to get buyer for such potential listing coin/token.

You are allowed, but you don't need to create a separate thread every time you are selling a token. You might end up spamming. It is best to just create a single thread with all the coins you are selling as well as their corresponding ask prices. Just update it regularly.

As for the community's interest, it will depend on the tokens you are selling and their prices. Just make sure it is significantly cheaper compared to their launch or ICO prices or, if traded, to their exchange prices. Otherwise, it might not spark any interest among users here.

Finally, I guess your tokens sale thread should be created on this board, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0. That's Marketplace (Altcoins).
