Over the past few weeks, I think I have been bored of hearing uniswap here and there and it seems like it has been a trend among the community. I just have noticed through coinbase it has increased 75%. What has happened actually?
A strange situation is happening now with UNI tokens. Airdrop was distributed to a huge number of people who sell their tokens immediately despite the price. This is a very large number of coins. At the same time, the price continues to grow. It seems to me that someone purposefully buys all tokens from the market in order to increase the price of the token. I would be wary of investing in UNI right now. |

At the same time, the price continues to grow. It seems to me that someone purposefully buys all tokens from the market in order to increase the price of the token. I would be wary of investing in UNI right now. I feel that with the current trading volume and total capitalization of UNI there is nothing to worry about as this coin has only been around for 2 days and has made a strong impression on everyone. I still find this to be a good option for you to invest now as whales are holding this coin a lot and I have bought UNI since the coin was at $1. Of course, I also made a lot of money from this Airdrop program but I still haven't sold it yet as it is certain that UNI will reach 10$ soon. |

As expected by many uniswap will pump because of the listing on the top exchanges and coinbase. I guess the pump is temporary it will dump by nexy week maybe.

Awesome coin although getting by free could increase to higher price above $8 last night, many people take much profit from this coin after active trading on uniswap before 1 september. I am very sad because could not get much profit from this coin because I don't active with trading on uniswap, how ever is very stronger coin with higher supply but could growing up to higher price.

This is a factor. And also uniswap is the most famous dex so its not impossible to see a good price on it. But of course all the uni tokens circulating are free some cant inevitably dumped their tokens cause of free money and some cex and whales are wise enough to collect it all. Thats how the market move they are hoarding their tokens. |

As a rule, cryptocurrencies from the airdrop are sold quickly after they are received. The devaluation has to take place but in the case of UNI, we have to admit it has gone up.
I think the UNI will go to an ideal price and then the holders of the most UNI will sell them and create a mass discount.

It a great thing for decentralization that uniswap exchange and the token associated with it UNI has hit so high value and that the traders and liquidity providers are rewarded for being part of uniswap . Hope to see decentralized exchange become more popular and attract more volume.

with current trading volume i think uniswap still strong from hard dumping. if price drop maybe it just a normal temporary correction . dont forget traders and investors now look uniswap as good future exchanges, moreover its listing in coinbase already. |

Yes its pretty crazy how it increased in value so much in the past few hours. I was basically mining ETH and all of a sudden I was getting multiples types of rewards for every block by my pool. I knew something was up. Looked at the fees they were like 700 Gwei, so it was the UNI token distribution.
People were claiming it and dumping it like crazy.... however price went up anyways. I was expecting it to go below $1 at least.... chop around for a few days before it started to recover however it was still pumping while people were claiming the token.
I guess those that heard about it late must of made a killing since it topped at $8 and everyone got 400 UTI each. $3200 for nothing pretty much. Free money.

What kind of rewards are you talking about that are dropping in ETH mining? The returns surely seem to have increased a lot on ETH mining since the crazy fee hikes. I had a single rig running a few montbs back but it has been down for the last few lucrative weeks losing out on potential profits. Also, the UNI token has a 4 year emission schedule and is capped at a supply of a billion tokens. Right now, only around 10% are in circulation. I think the price will keep going up for sometime but then dump hard as the biggest Liquidity providers sill constantly sell the tokens every day. Lucky for those who ever used uniswap. They all got free monies greater than the US stimulus check. |

Uniswap went on a rampage last night they went $8 plus. Whoever kept holding their 400 free uniswap token made around 400*8=$3200. I have been part of the crypto world for a long time and, I doubt any other project ever paid that much $$ as an airdrop.

Yeah it raised till 8.5$ and i sold it on 4.5$  Any way profit is profit and I'm happy I got some profit out of it , and I'm looking forward to new chances . |

I am also asking this same question checking this well talked currency,because the increase is really high for an unpopular coins.actually it has been asked here the morning before you posted this. It is possible for new coins to reach top 20 list. Uniswap and Sushi are quite popular these days. I wonder if these coins will remain their position in the top 20 list.  Look at the names,imaghine the one who has been scammed DeFi project recently is 'Hotdog" and now here it is "Shushi". is this a Supermarket or crypto market?lol |

You don't have to think about how the price can increase because as long as you can profit from uniswap, I think that will not be necessary. The uniswap can increase without we know what the reason is. The important thing is we can follow the trend, and we can make money. But I don't follow the uniswap because I don't think it will be easy for me always to check the price and always buy and sell the token. But I think the price increase is because the defi project is still at the uptrend, which can attract many tokens from defi.

usually, it will be like this after the HYPE ends the price will dump... but for the UNI case, I can't predict whether the price will fall, I think more likely the price will stagnate because it has been listed on a large exchanges. |

Do you think that DeFi is about that? I am sure that some projects just use they hype and they don't have anything real to offer, and that scheme will collapse sooner or later. I am not sure which DeFi projects are good and which ones are bad, I have Link and it's the DeFi I will hold on, for others I am not sure, even I see people are making good money I will stay away. |

And what is the token good for? I totally missed all of these DeFi and DEX projects, so I am totally out. People are spending for YFI token much more than for Bitcoin.. I am really out of thw game and probably missed my chance again, but you have to know where is the time for selling these hype tokens to prevent loss.   |
