You should always remember and never forget - the more effort is directed at fighting fraud, the more sophisticated methods of opposing you and conducting such a schemes will appear.
Even 10 years ago, people were led to "letters of happiness" more often than you go to the store. Do you think they're gone now? No, they just became much more cunning, smarter and more diverse.
Do not think that this can be won over a long distance and remember that a small victory over garbage today does not mean victory in the war against fraud forever.

100% agree! Fraud schemes evolve much faster that anti-fraud regulations do)) there will always be a lot of cheating in crypto sphere. We should be very careful about what we do and where we enclose our personal data.

The problem is not even in the speed of development, but in the classic rule "action creates reaction". And also in the fact that in our case, the reaction is always stronger than the action - hence we get that for one revealed and defeated dirty scheme, we get two new ones.
And even more interesting is that even total legalization is unlikely to help. On the contrary, it will open up space for even more cunning and insidious schemes that will already become quite a "relatively honest way" of taking money from the population.

Bounty scam will not go away as long as there are hunters that are willing ...
Newbies have no experience so they jump into campaigns they are not very sure of. even older members sometime do not distinguish a scam campaign. So scam campaigns will take a very long time to go away.
True, scammers are incredibly smart, they know how a legitimate campaign looks like and then they do everything in their power so their campaign looks the same and to the eyes of those that are new to this market there is no difference between coin A and coin B despite the huge difference between the intentions of the developers, this means that for the most part even bounty hunters that only want to promote good projects have no option but to promote bad projects even if that is not their intention and as long as this is the case we are bound to see scam projects being promoted on the forum and on social media.

Wow, it is very nice to have paid in btc by joining and participating on twitter campaign only.
What i know, the signature campaign is only the campaign that pays btc to their participants.
About bounty scam, i think the reward should be escrowed so it will give the guarantee of the payment and won't become scam campaign.
Yes, but if you go to a service place in this forum, you will see a twitter campaign that pays participants with BTC and the manager is also very trusted and many also hold signature campaigns with BTC paid which are always paid on time, meaning that such campaigns always have escrow in terms of the payment.

Bot how many projects will choose this? I bet that it's going to be only a few and most of them will want to save some money and either go the legit way but without escrow and with a cheap new manager or will scam you.

They know they can do it because there's so many people who want to make money on this forum that they will never run out of workforce.

I can't see an end to this scam soon because, presently are thousands of project campaigns with no reputation on the forum being promoted and still be promoting. This scam won't just go from the forum because not all projects will be able to pay their participants with top cryptocurrencies. Also, some projects wants their participants hold their tokens for advertisements or towards their adoption. Having a project with token signifies adoption, so, they will always like to pay promoters with their native token.

I am not sure about the disappearance of bounty fraud because this kind of thing has been around since long ago during the ICO to IEO and until recently, I think fraud,
the gift will never be lost we just have to be careful and clever at analyzing at least we can avoid it

It's unlikely to happen. Even in real life, there are still tons of scammers lurking and planning to make another scam plans to rob our money. They have million of ways to make their plans become smoother no matter what cost it would take. We can avoid to fall on that scammer's hole though, but remove bounty scams from existence is impossible in this world.

Actually, I doubt that it will gonna go away,

We all know that when it comes to money, there's always be a scammer around. And since the bounty campaign is all about investment, it will be impossible for them to go away.
But what OP is trying to say is, we are starting to see social media campaign running in the services section wherein we can guarantee the payment in btc. In fact, it is a good start for everyone because we can see that it can also happen as no one expected social media camp to be running in that section.

disappeared is definitely not possible because this is a profitable business especially for con artists...
after ICO / IEO ended with a lot of scams now scammers are following the DeFi trend. many DeFi projects have been scams to date and it's likely the number will increase. I hope we are more careful of this kind of trick, don't be easily tempted and lulled by the hype.

that will be good if there are some social media campaign that will be paid with bitcoins, but of course with a new rules and conditions. because if it's not, i believe there will be so many participants abuse it. but it's not a solution to make bounty scam disappeared. also, maybe most of the projects become scam in the end becuse they didn't know that their projects will be successful or not in the end of their sale even after their create a bounty campaign. so, to avoid some loss they paid the bounty participants with their tokens, not with bitcoin or other tradeable coins/token.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.
In my opinion, I doubt it will be gone soon. People potential be wronged and even though at the start they are very diligent and organized in managing an ICO which supposed to be legitimate, one wrong miscalculation and it can turn to a scam right away. Legitimacy of an ICO project depends on the continuous use of the tokens supported by the project. It is also needed to be listed to some exchanges to have some value and be traded into circulation If these parts was being miscalculated, in the future if it has no user anymore, it ls price will go low, reducing its value and eventually deleted in the exchange it was listed

Distribute reward with btc or ether, is already available since years ago.but those are very few & can't help preventing bounty scam. If we have a look at bounty thread, most of them are scam, some are totally garbage. good projects are a few.i notice, some newbie manager with 1 activity post scam bounties to scam our fund.even though newbie hunter continuously joining with them & promoting scams, that should be stopped. Using escrow might be helpful to solve this problem

This year in altcoin section, I have only just seen Injective as the only project that pays ETH for bounty in a relatively decent amount (30k USDT). But it seems like we have only seen such a project this year. Very few projects use escrow, we don't have many options, so it is necessary to DYOR.

Scams and rewards will never end because scams will always be in the cryptocurrency market.  Scammers will scam new people with little information about cryptography.  When it comes to money, people will pursue it by any means, and they will not check the credibility of the project.

Maybe the bounty scam will not really disappear, it can no longer be removed just like in our real life there are people who are really good at thinking things to cheat and get our money. It's just same with bounty there are bounties out there that promise to pay after the bounty ends, but eventually and when the project is over they will suddenly not be notified and will not be able to contact in telegram.

scammer will always occur when there is legit project in market. it could not separated and already be part in any project. like two side in the world we see bad thing and good thing. joining in bounty need to look reputation manager in previous campaign , if we look they success in previous campaign its good for us. and usually bounty manager have high rank, because dev team need someone that can be trusted .

All depending on the rules requested by the Manager who handles a project.  There are also some that do not require that. For the scam, there will be no end.

Scams are hard to get rid of, but experienced bounty managers may not recruit potential scam projects early in the review process.  Let there be fewer bounty campaigns, but they will be of higher quality.

It's really not about how you promote the project, Twitter audit is not new and still till date many bounty projects failed to pay bounty hunters, the problem is getting paid as promised, even if the project is paying in USDT, BNB or BTC there is no guarantee that bounty hunters will be paid, the only solution is escrow

We don't blame the project that did the scam. We have to blame the stupid participants who continued to follow the scam campaign even though it was clear and was told by senior members that the project was a scam but forced to join.
