Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

Bounty scam will not go away as long as there are hunters that are willing to join even if the project is an obvious scam. But it is good to see that there are now social media campaigns that are bitcoin paying. Though we already saw that before, but seems, it is going back again. The good thing is that the manager handling that campaign does accept btc and not token or unknown alt. That is also for the welfare of the participants. At least, they are sure that they are getting paid with valuable coin rather than worthless token that is not yet listed in an exchange.

You're make it complicated, it's still social media campaign as we see in bounty program... It just different on the payment.

Social media campaign in service section is paid with Bitcoin only, while social media campaign in bounty section is paid from the project coin/token or other altcoin nor stablecoin.

Of course people will prefer in Bitcoin payment, but it doesn't mean it will stop scam project on bounty section. Even if they participate in service section, it also doesn't mean they can't participate in bounty section too because they can join all social media campaign if they want as long they didn't cheating.

I am sure more and more campaigns will follow this. This is very reasonable demand from the community as it is a win win because there will be no chance of dumping of tokens.
I think the bounty campaigns of the projects that have successfully raised funds should also look to pay hunters in equivalent amount of btc, eth or usdt.

I hope so because more and more "Altcoin section bounties are getting abusive and not true to their promises, Many cases of abuse has been committed ranging from not paying their obligation and accusing bounty participants of cheating to escape paying its obligation the Perfect example is the "DigitalBits Bounty the 28 Million XDB bounty pool was going to their pocket, I believe they will reap their karma soon including all other abusive crypto projects, I hope this Bitcoin and other liquid cryptocurrencies paid bounties will prosper so that those abusive ICO bounty projects will vanish away.

I stopped bounty after 2019 only reentering this year because I was faced with a bit of financial troubles and things haven't improved, the reward is ridiculously low and most times the value afterwards is just too disappointing.

I hold some very huge amount of coins that was suppose to do well in this bounty period but are still struggling till date.

They're in fixed rates and managed by reputated/veteran members and that's still few, mate.
Go to Bounties board and check how many projects you aren't sure of even joining.
Some are managed by newbies, devs from the team itself, and  those who don't even have experience in managing a bounty.
Those twitter campaign paying BTCs you see don't happen very often.

Can you point us to such campaigns. we will gladly join without complain. For the scam bounties. it will never stop. i can not stop as long as this space is not regulated. we can not forget the immense Job of the admins that spots out fake bounties especially those with copied whitepaper, Newly created websites and with former scam projects. Also a reminder that id sales is a huge business in the dark web.

During 2018 when I have discoved that I was already a victim of scam projects, I decided to turn to campaigns in services because campaigns in services pays bitcoin weekly. But for me as a full member, the profit in services is not as big compare to profit I can get in alts. Well that is only for me, I am not sure if the higher rank is still the same. It is only good in a way that we are going to have our weekly income and then use it if we need money. Now, I turn to alts again coz I am hoping to earn bigger even though it takes time. Of course I do take note about scams so I carefully chose the campaign I am going to participate.

It's hard to lead everyone to a better campaign, because almost all campaigns have difficulties and are ultimately scams, the only thing everyone can do at this point is to do some research on their own and always be quick to take a chance through the trend. is happening, because good opportunities will not come twice in crypto.

They won't go away forever. There are still people who falls for their dumb/stupid scams. They join those projects and encourages more scam. Though as more people become aware of their scams, more people will start avoiding them making those scammers attempt worthless. But this does not mean that those scammers will leave. They will try a new and different way for scamming people. Right now they are using "trends" and "hypes" to scam people.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. I am not sure who are talking about those. Are you talking about people scamming bounty hosts by using accounts with fake followers to complete tasks?

it all depends on the bounty manager I think. When the bounty manager manages properly the updated system will create a better and cleaner way for each campaign. we have followed the old method imposed by many bounty managers. we have seen KYC which is required for almost all projects. but all also ended up a scam. that's disappointing. We can't yet see what's good for the bounty hunter as well as for the project. and the bounty manager is a bridge for both.

It still depends to the bounty projects which channel they prefer. If they like more with social media campaigns through Twitter or Facebook, they can do as what you are saying. Get some twitter audits to see how many are the actual followers and how many are the bots.
But with various channels that they can choose, they'll still choose which is best for them and which they think they can have a lesser cost of advertisement.

I don't think the bounty scam will go away because, as far as I know, the scam will always there on the crypto market. When the new trend comes, many scammers will be ready to scam people, especially new people who don't have much information about crypto. It is hard to say that the bounty scam will leave us because when money is involved, people will chase it, and they will not check the project's truth. So always be careful when you want to invest or join in the bounty program.

I personally dont like bounty system like referral link because all this lead to spam and spam lead to scam, some do it because they really need the money and others because they want to take advantage of the opportunity.

I don't think it's new, a social media campaign with bitcoin payments. And they are also not a guarantee that they will not trick bounty hunters unless they have escrowed. Fraud should have been avoided if the bounty manager dared to refuse a project that wanted to hold a bounty but they did not escrow funds or tokens before the bounty began. And also I think that fraud will not be easily lost, maybe the bounty campaign will slowly disappear because of the increasing number of fraudulent campaigns and participants who cheat and plagiarism.

If most of the bounty programs start paying in bitcoin/ether then yeah the scamming is about to stop.
Yes there are bitcoin paying twitter campaigns coming up but that doesn't mean all the bounty programs will start paying in bitcoin.
The bounty hunters will have to unite here and stop joining the bounty programs that pay in shit tokens.
If everyone stops joining token paying bounty programs then the project team will have no other option.
They will either have to stop their project or will have to pay the hunters in bitcoin/ether.
But as we all know it's highly unlikely to happen because there are people who will just join any bounty program without even looking for the project potential.

Knowledge is power and awareness gives direction. This is the purpose. It will gradually stop for some people and continue with others who want to take risk of trying obvious scam project because they see bounty as a source of living. The advise is to research and avoid it when not sure.

I am not sure who are talking about those. Are you talking about people scamming bounty hosts by using accounts with fake followers to complete tasks?

Developers or team who want their project to be seen

Lol, when it's going away you think? There wouldn't be bounty advertising if that wasn't being effective and cheap way to advertise. Just because some people dislike ads, it doesn't kill the whole advertising game. There is a way though, you can literally filter your own feed and stop following obvious paid shill accounts in twitter or facebook or in youtube.
