Was researching some random topic and stumbled across this.

Apparently they will be using this money to fund a movie which is regarding the ideology of Piracy.

Why does the title say $2 million when it was actually sold for 'only' $50,000?

It is perfectly understandable that someone wants to take advantage of such a domain given that the domain has operated for quite some time and has a fair amount of backlinks to it.

The title is misleading. I thought that it's just the beginning price for the auction.

But the article that he shared says that it's sold for $50,000.
