I also share the same view as others, defi will surely continue to be trendy even in 2021 because from the look of things the trend just started and will keep going for some time, ico also stayed for some time before ieo took over, same thing will happen to defi.

Yes, because DeFi also experienced a trend in the middle of this year and now it is almost entering the fourth quarter of this year, so it is clear that DeFi will last until next year, because the duration between now and 2021 is also not long. |

I heard about this nft thing on social media. I think thats probably a good new hype. I saw some of the projects are gearing towards the nft area. Like meme, rari, chad, too many are pumping on this so it means it really a good section to explore. Defi application is so wide that you can see many applications going hype. |

I would say having some sort of vetting should be done for every single new project which should be the next trend if you ask me. If you want to start a new project, you should be going through some sort of vetting, some auditing, something that makes you liable if you steal anyone's money.
Right now biggest problem in the project creation world (ico, sto, ieo, defi whatever) is the fact that you don't know if the team is a scam or not, if you could limit that and make sure that there is a process teams could take to make sure they are more legit, that could be the next big thing. Obviously not all teams will have to do it, there will still be shady ones, but people will not invest to them and invest into this new trend where projects are vetted, that means money won't go to scams as much.

Look at this year, we didn't expect DeFi came back again to make this thing happen where potential projects are shining right now. Who knows what happen next.

In the future, no one knows what will happen next but I think DeFi has made a new breakthrough in the world of criticism because there have been a lot of coins that have been hype, many defi projects have emerged because of its popularity which is still happening until now it signifies a trend this will still continue so I think we are looking forward to another new breakthrough. |

What can one say, every year comes with its own hype or trend, this year of course it is Defi, although NFT is already popping up gradually but not that much I guess. Well, considering the fact that Defi hype is already fading I would go with your opinion, that is NFT but yet I would be opened to more ideas such that which one that takes the lead I will likely get involved early as most times the early projects tends to be legit when compared to those that comes afterwards. Although, 2021 is already close but you never can tell, a lot can happen within the remaining months so let's be anticipating. |

I don't know what to expect in 2021 in crypto there might be another form of crowdfunding and other coins/tokens that has been sleeping could be awaken.
But I don't really trust new crypto as much as they seems to be promising they could always go down instantly because they doesn't have a proper foundation.
We have seen so many new crypto's soar high in the sky but in just a short period of time they would start to crumble down again.

There is one thing we all failed to understand in cryptocurrency. Trend does comes because you want it to happen, it's natural and driven by greed just as when every is expecting bitcoin to comes down to 3k. Don't be surprised when you see bitcoin at 8k but believe me, you wouldn't see that coming just as everyone is expecting it to dump. |

2021 is a very interesting year, the Defi trend in 2020 is becoming a very beautiful trend,
and this makes altcoins start to rise and slowly recover, but not all altcoins, if 2021 altcoin trend appears again,
I believe 2021 will be the altcoin season

I agree that we should not really look for a huge pay day for now, bitcoin and ethereum is doing pretty well and interestingly they are doing very well early on, many people expected them to do a lot better by the end of 2020 or early 2021 because bitcoin had its halving and those unmined coins will have an affect about 12 months to 18 months so there is a ton of time left but it should start to show by early 2021, and ethereum has that famous ethereum 2.0 everyone has been talking about, which means both of them will have a reason to go up in 2021 whereas they have been already going up right now without even waiting for that period.
This is why we should invest heavily into them and wait out, after a while if they go up a lot, we could sell some excess and could use that for altcoins.

i too believe 2021 H1 will be highly favorable for Alt-coins and Defi will be in its peak. it will follow a BTC bull run reach new ATH. by the way NFT is kinda cool but not sure it will be there . |

For now till next year its gonna be DeFis the hype is very much on ground in cryptoshpere now I believed it will gain massive attentions throughout this year and majorities of new projects are De-Fis inclined and a lot of investors are investing on these project, every investor want to make profit on any trending project I am not surprised why DeFI hype is very much, NFL is not popular yet probably after De-Fis era had passed it might take over . |

I don't know NFT coin, if you know, can you explain what is NFT coin? So what are your basic reasons that make you believe that NFT coins are a new trend in 2021? even if I have to mention only the top coins, it is also not a guarantee that this is the next trend in 2021 <>

no one knows for sure the future trend in the world of cryptocurrency, but the habit of the trend always follows bitcoin price movements, because if the btc price is still silent then the altcoin price will also remain silent until an uncertain time limit

I do not think that NFTs will become big enough anytime soon so that they can be called a new trend. You have talked about 2021 so i think next year will be the bull year and we will see all the coins growing massively so go and pick your favorite coins and wait. |
