Also in the picture, Royse was voted for craft master and as well as an Anti hero. Is this not a gross contradiction by Shasan?

Let's read the descriptions:

	Craft Master	The award is presented to those who sincerely love their craft, whether it is a professional activity or a hobby. We tend to think that this award is best suited to the most significant figure among collectors, managers, escrows, designers or users who are so passionate about sports and p2p that they motivate others to bets solely in BTC.
	Antihero	He never wanted to be a villain, but he had to accept the rules of the game in which he “plays black” [no prizes].

I have a hard time matching both descriptions to one person.

In the first six months of the year, he behaved in a category. And in the second half of the year it behaved as mentioned in the other category.

If it was the same person in both situations? It seems not, and some rumors indicate not. But, without proving otherwise, it was the same person.

I must have missed it, yet I don't recall seeing the results of last year's contest (awards).. Maybe the results ended up in a separate thread, yet such link was not placed in this thread?

Identity and recognize bitcoin OGs that are still here with us. It will be a great award. I'll prefer it to voting for golden feather which  I already know the winner, unless PowerGlove will truncate it this time around.

No any clues at all on what new things you gonna do this year but how about electing some old folks as "Bitcointalk Forum Kingpin" who has broad knowledge and shares within, would be much exciting to see who is more recognized for a position.

In the new nominations accepted, the description of the current categories has been changed, and prizes will now be received by those who vote, not those who win. Changes have also been made to the voting system!

But the main feature is that votes without a detailed description will not be taken into account!

It would be good if you or someone else with the design skills could make a voting template. Now there are a lot of categories and it requires too many copy/paste requests.
It would make it easier for the voters, and probably for you or whoever is counting the votes.

I also think this would be a good idea.

But they will probably already have a counting system that helps with this process.

You can publish your answers as you like. And the excessive amount of copying and pasting (a kind of inconvenience) is compensated by large prizes for those who vote.

I think only choosing is easier than to post something about the people chosen along.

It is easier, because you can mindlessly copy/paste and mix answers from those who already voted and that's something many did in the past, so I would say that this new rule is working as intended.

I guess that is the reason some people have not posted yet.

I hope we can just choose names only instead? It would be good if you let people also know that above. Maybe I am not right, but what I thought.

I carefully checked to see if there are restrictions but didn't find any. Just to be on the safe side i choosed to ask. If yes then I will go ahead to edit this else I delete it.

Rank doesn't matter, all you need to qualify is to earn 50 merit.

I have seen it in the rules. There are still 52 days left before the votes ending date, so there are still time left for people to vote. I have almost completed my picks, but I will later find time to include something about the reason I chose them. Not that hard for me to select the right people that are worth it.

Apparently people did not fully realize that 15% of all voters will receive from 150 to 200 dollars (depending on the number of participants, the % value and cash prize can increase to 20-25%).
