Hillary Clinton also said to Joe Biden that under no circumstances should he concede the election. Biden has also hired a mega team of lawyers that will absolutely file a lawsuit on election day to keep counting mail in ballots if he isn't determined the clear and obvious winner.

Oh.. I got it.

It is going to be a repeat of the 2008 United States Senate election in Minnesota. It happened 12 years ago, but the dramatics are still fresh in my mind.  Grin

The GOP candidate (Norm Coleman) had won the election in the first count. Then mysteriously, "uncounted" ballots (obviously all in favor of the Democrat candidate Al Franken) were being "discovered" in dust bins, gyms, fast food stores.etc. A Democrat official infamously stated that "we will count and count until Franken wins". And in the end, Franken was declared the winner, after sufficient number of "uncounted" ballots were produced.

Even mail in ballots could be cryptographically secured and attributable to individual voters using a blockchain, thus creating a system where this type of abuse was not possible.

I'd be okay with a federal law or policy mandating such secure methods, even though most issues of voting are up to the states and should be.

If so, that's due to several states implementing, purposefully, procedures and methods that maximize uncertainty of outcome, and which maximize the possibility of stealing the election through litigation.

And that's the Democrats doing that.

Even if those states are purposely implementing methods and procedures for various reasons, there is no certainty that those implementations will benefit Biden over Trump.

Trump is a complete narcissist, he believes in his own over-inflated value and ego therefore I do not know why he is getting concerned about this because as long as he holds the states he won in 2016 he will be re-elected.

If you look back at the last dozen presidents or so, they do have odd personalities.

Narcissism is quite likely to be found in a majority of successful politicians. It's an interesting trait. In moderate amounts it will help make a successful public figure, and if too extreme, it has negative effects.

We're not going to know who the winner is on election day if the polls continue to tighten up so litigation is what's going to end up happening. Also, let's not act like in 2016 it wasn't liberals sending death threats to state electors to force them to be faithless and pledge their vote for Clinton when she lost.
The advent of BLM's influence, and their ability to produce propaganda and fear has rendered polls less useful. Nearly 2/3 of Americans are afraid to share their political views. I would say the polls will likely not reflect the electorate, nor the outcome of the election.

Even mail in ballots could be cryptographically secured and attributable to individual voters using a blockchain, thus creating a system where this type of abuse was not possible.
The issue is not as much that one person is voting multiple times, the issue with mail-in voting is that political activists and operatives will put undue pressure on voters to vote a certain way, and that operatives can identify voters likely to vote a certain way, collect those votes and "lose" those votes.

Crypto is still the solution. A unique series of large numbers HD from a primary key can all spell a YES vote, and another series can spell a NO vote. But looking at them on a piece of paper, a schemer cannot tell which is which.

Perfect security is easily possible.

If you know that many people in neighbored "x" are registered republicans, a democratic operative could go to that neighborhood to help them get to a point before they actually cast a vote, and tell them they have cast their vote, leading them to believe they have voted when in fact they have not.

I don't believe democratic operatives actually open mailed ballots they intend on throwing away, they just compare party registration to where the ballots are coming from, and act accordingly. An opened mail-in ballot is useless once it has been opened because once it is opened, it is obvious it was tampered with.

...
Around here a democratic operative that tried that would have a really, really bad day. A voter could determine his records on the blockchain, and then complaint that he had not voted, when the blockchain showed he had. Remember, the blockchain is a public record.

Of course, the proof of the assertion I made is that it would withstand the test of hundreds of imaginative gaming attempts to refute the premise. One or another attempts shows a weakness, then the initiative is revised. Considerable work on voting records in blockchain has been done.

Still, politically there is an adage: Approve and implement nothing that isn't corruptible.

I agree with you many of the Presidents show odd behaviour in one way or another and within moderate amounts it might be a necessity and beyond that it, I would go further saying that to some extent an admiration of oneself is essential in any walk of life, regardless, but narcissistic behaviour is not part and parcel of the job.

The key in a public role such as President or any world leader is this: just because one thinks of themselves as the best thing on the planet and have an overblown ego to match it does not mean they have to display those behaviours in public where others manage to discover their narcissism. It would be better for them to keep their narcissistic behaviour to themselves than make public displays.

Even if those states are purposely implementing methods and procedures for various reasons, there is no certainty that those implementations will benefit Biden over Trump.

Trump has a legal team ready to litigate the results too, I think we're in for a shit show no matter what.  I mention Hillary Clinton because she's a former Presidential candidate who is telling Biden not to concede.

I don't think anyone actually cares what Hillary says, I hope she can just disappear into private citizen life. She's annoying.

I have no doubt about this. If he is not re-elected Trump will try his best to cling on to power for as long as possible by trying to engage in long drawn out litigations. It will not look good for both Trump and Biden if it goes to court therefore the best solution would be for the people to turn out as never before and vote for the person they want, at least that way it might minimise the chances of this going to court.

As for Hillary, she keeps popping in and out of newspaper and television interviews trying to make herself relevant in one way or another. I agree with you, she is annoying and I also hope she can stay away from both the media and politics.

Eh, I'm not too sure about the whole  -- Donald Trump is going to try to stay as the President even if he loses the election. I don't think the GOP is going to allow him to do it, they're going to be in open revolt and force him to leave. And with both chambers of congress (As the DNC will support them in the house) they will totally be able to remove the President, even if that requires impeachment for high crimes.

If Trump tries to do that, that's going to be the end of the modern Republican party. The GOP doesn't want that, lol.

Of course you are right about Trump not leaving willingly if he loses. But it isn't the way that you are thinking. Here's the way it really is.

If Trump loses, Biden will mess the country up so badly, that EVERYBODY will welcome Trump back with tears and open arms in 2024. And Trump will be way readier than he is today.

Cool

EDIT: And if anybody says, look at how old Trump is already... There are tons of anti-aging technologies being perfected right now. Biden is too ... well, let me say that he isn't taking advantage of them. But Trump by 2024 will be ready.
